These 1/18th scale models of the V10 powered Lamborghini Gallardo have been around for a while, Maisto was actually one of the first to offer their
'scaled down' version of the new Lamborghini when it was introduced at the Geneva Auto Show.

At the moment Maisto models are perhaps not as highly rated as the AutoArt models, but they are getting there, the details and finishing on these
Gallardo models are actually very good.
The only detail that I could think of is the gearshift lever, it just looks too big inside this model, but other than that I don't have any problems with
putting these Gallardo's by Maisto next to any other model in my collection, also keeping in mind that their price is somewhat lower than the AutoArt
models.
Maisto actually offers a range of colors on their Gallardo interpretation, these orange and yellow pearl metallic ones are just two of them, together

with black my favorite colors actually, the silver metallic is however also very nice by the way.
The models by Maisto all offer the same details, not like on the AutoArt Gallardo model, where the black one actually received the 'glass' engine
cover, while some of their other models have the standard engine cover.
Conclusion : Personally I would suggest getting at least one of these Maisto models to display on your table or somewhere you
can find a spot, and consider the black AutoArt Gallardo 1/18th one for the glass engine cover ... I'm sure they will look stunning next to each other.
