Lamborghini Diablo remains.

A Diablo after it's been on fire.
A burned down Diablo.

The red Lamborghini Diablo seen on this page was caught in an unfortunate fire, as we can all see from the photo's, nothing much remains from this once magnificent early model Diablo.
Rebuilding this car would take a massive amount of work and money, which could lead to the following question : is this project worth being rebuilt or will it be written down as a complete loss.
well someone actually bought this car.
Note that in June 2001 this car was actually running again, still burnt, but the engine was rebuilt and running, the current owner is working close with Eddie Newell from Newell MotorSports to get this Diablo back to it's former glory, which if we take a look at another Diablo Eddie 'saved' shouldn't be too much trouble for him, just take a look at the magnificent Diablo VTX for a taste of Eddie's work.
