This yellow Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster pictured here was only four months old when the driver encountered
an old lady in her car driving on the wrong side of the road. A heavy crash couldn't be avoided and the results are shown here, a stunning piece of automotive architecture destroyed in an accident. The impact of these two cars happened while they were both traveling at about 50 Mph, so a 100 Mph hit occured, because of this crash, the wheel inflation canister at the front ruptured and covered
The driver was lucky enough to be able to get out of the car without major injuries, the four-point seat belt did keep him in place, but also hurt quite a bit, fortunately the driver door could still be opened without any special help, which shows just how strong the Diablo spaceframe chassis actually is. Today, the original owner of this car again owns a 1999 yellow Roadster, together with a special 1999 Diablo VT and a stunning new Diablo 6.0 ... Afterwards this car was sold, since the engine had only run some 4000 Miles it probably got installed on some other Diablo soon after the buyer acquired it. |
