The ultimate Miura still had to compete with the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' just like the Miura S before it, but now the de Tomaso Pantera was available, and also the Maserati Bora was sold to the public, both being a bit of a problem for the Miura SV. The Iso-Rivolta Grifo IR 9 was still available but sold in so little numbers it never posed a real threath to the magnificent Miura SV
