The Lamborghini Espada 400 GTE against it's competition.

The third series Espada was a magnificent car, but like all exotics, even this supersedan had some competition to deal with, like the de Tomaso Longchamps and the notorious Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. Other cars in this league were the Iso-Rivolta Lele, which was only built in very limited numbers, the Jaguar XJ-S, the Jensen Interceptor III and SP, and the lesser known Monteverdi 375 L. Two other cars could also be considered as real rivals to the Espada III, the Maserati Kyalami and the mass-built Mercedes 450 SLC.
