The Lamborghini Islero 400 GTS against it's competition.

The much improved Islero S still had some big competitors against it, the mass built Chevrolet Corvette was again the biggest rival on the US market, but in Europe the Ferrari 365 GTS was a bigger problem. The Jaguar E-Type III and the Maserati Mistral 4000 were also considered as competitors to the Islero S, although not as important as the Ferrari. A few limited built cars could also be seen as rivals, like the AC 428 Coupe and the Aston Martin DBS, which did get built in some bigger numbers than the Iso Grifo GL and the Monteverdi HighSpeed 375 S.
