Lamborghini Cars : earlier updates, from October 14. 1998 up to May 17. 2003 ...

May 17th, 2003 : Thanks to an avid Lamborghini fan I'm able to give you an impression of Il Raduno Romano, a special event organized by the Lamborghini Club Italia on May 2nd to 4th to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini SpA. Also the massive 40th Anniversary event held in and around Sant'Agata has been covered, many interesting cars were present, among them the legendary Miura Jota ... Interesting information about the creation of the Murcielago presentation movie has been located, read all about it. Two new wallpapers has been uploaded into the Lamborghini Murcielago wallpapers section, while the PPG Paintcodes page has been updated thanks to Eric Thomassey and Raymond Stofer. May 4th, 2003 : The page on the very rare Lamborghini Coatl has been updated with important new information and stunning new photo's. A nicely modified Diablo VT 6.0 has been added to the Artwork pages. New wallpapers have been added, to the Lamborghini's and beautiful women wallpapers page and to a brand new Gallardo page, also two very nice, new wallpapers have been uploaded into the Various Lamborghini's section. April 7th, 2003 : A very nice collection of new Lamborghini Murcielago Barchetta photo's has been added, taken when this one of a kind model was shown on an Australian Auto Show. Again a nice selection of new photo's featuring the Lamborghini Gallardo during the Geneva Auto Show has been added, make sure to check out the Gallardo Image gallery 4. New wallpapers have been added, to the Lamborghini's and beautiful women wallpapers page and to a brand new Gallardo page. March 10th, 2003 : A large selection of new Lamborghini Gallardo photo's have been added from the introduction at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show. March 5th, 2003 : One big item naturally, finally the new entry model Lamborghini has been introduced during the 2003 Geneva Auto Show, the Lamborghini Gallardo ... January 14th, 2003 : Big news this time, the Murcielago Roadster Concept has been introduced at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show, information and several photo's have been added ... Automobili Lamborghini SpA is gearing up to introduce more new models according to several sources, a taste of things to come is now available on the site. I've added the possibility to download a calendar for 2003, this year I also added the option of using a special wallpaper each month of the year, please take a look at The 2003 Calendar Series. The official list featuring the authorized Lamborghini dealers has been updated together with the list of the Lamborghini Clubs. December 19th, 2002 : Very special news, an official press release for the new Lamborghini model has been released, officially named Gallardo, the new V10 powered Lamborghini will be introduced in March 2003 during the Geneva Auto Show. December 16th, 2002 : Again some new wallpapers were added, this time to the Lamborghini Murcielago wallpapers section, also several new custom made Lamborghini's were added to the User Artwork pages. I've been able to take some photographs of a very special Lamborghini Diablo GT, complete with custom air intakes, also some very special Lamborghini Diablo SE30's have been added. November 4th, 2002 : Two new wallpapers have been added to the Lamborghini's and beautiful women wallpapers gallery, also the 2002 edition of Auto Moto d'Italia has been covered, take a look at the stunning Lamborghini's shown during this two day event. Lamborghini Cars has been asked to take control over the original Lamborghini WebRing, please take a look at the new page and join the Ring if you manage a Lamborghini related website. September 23rd, 2002 : Several pages on both the Diablo and the Countach section have been modified to reflect the new 'look and feel' of the Lamborghini Cars website. There have been some very interesting new photo's mailed to me picturing a highly camouflaged Lamborghini Gallardo, apparently some people are sure the new V10 Lamborghini model will be called this name, others also state the name Stella ... August 29th, 2002 : A visitor of the Lamborghini Cars website mailed me several new Murcielago prototype drawings, nine of these have been added to the site. Also note that I've added some photo's of a Murcielago with a rear wing installed to the gallery. Naturally the For Sale section has been updated, cars were sold, others have been added to the list ... The modification of the website to reflect the new look is still being worked on, you'll probably see some changes mainly in the Diablo section right now, the entire site will follow ... it's just a matter of time ... August 14th, 2002 : New information has been published about the 40th Anniversary event to be held at the Sant'Agata factory in early May 2003. I was able to take photographs during a presentation by Luc Donckerwolcke on the Murcielago, there are some very nice photo's of preliminary prototypes and drawings of this recent Lamborghini flagship, perhaps not the best quality but surely worth to take a look at. Since there are now two different museums in Italy that feature our favorite cars, I've created a page for each of them, the Centro Studi e Ricerche Ferruccio Lamborghini , which is in fact Tonino Lamborghini's private collection of Lamborghini's, and the Official Factory museum. Note that both are only open by appointment, therefore I've included the contact information to reach these very interesting places. A very nice design of the new L140 was featured on the Road & Track September 2002 issue, surely worth another look. Further modifications have been made to the layout and cosmetic details of the Lamborghini Cars website, especially the main page of the 'non-frames' version has been reworked rather heavily, note that all these modifications will probably take some time, so not all pages will reflect this new look at once ... August 2nd, 2002 : A new section has been added to the Lamborghini Cars, due to several demands I've decided to include a 'For Sale ...' section that will feature special Lamborghini available on the market today. I've been contacted by people from Rage.com, this company is currently developing Lamborghini, a game dedicated to driving the finest from Sant'Agata, judging from the screenshots it looks great ... July 26th, 2002 : The photo's on the 'Diablo hybrid' model of the Lamborghini L140 prototype have been replaced with high resolution ones and the rear view now has a link to a high res photo, also some information about the current work on the assembly lines at Sant'Agata has been added where they are getting ready to start assembling the L140 model. A first look at what could become the Murcielago Spider has been mailed to me, take a look at the two versions, a real convertible and a 'Targa' model. Again about 10 new Diablo pictures have been replaced with better, high resolution photo's. July 19th, 2002 : I've been going over the Diablo pages to clean them out, several low res images have been replaced with new, high quality photo's, in total nearly 20 new photo's are now online, available on the Diablo galleries one, two, three and four, the new photo's are mostly located at the top of these galleries. A new drawing of the 'entry level' Lamborghini model has been mailed to me, take a look at it, also some interesting information about the production process has been added. The Viva Italia 2002 event in Assen, The Netherlands, has also been added to the list featuring some very interesting photo's. And a date has been set for the 40th Anniversary celebration at the factory in Sant'Agata, during which the new L140 model should be introduced to the public according to Automobili Lamborghini SpA. June 27th, 2002 : Magnificent new photo's of the very rare 350 GT Zagato have been added after it underwent a very extensive restoration. Another look at the new L140 Prototype was found, also some new info about the production process has been added. Some very nice photo's of a Diablo SV by Strosek have been added, the pages for the rare Momo Roadster have been worked over, some new images have been added, also make sure to take a look at the image galleries one and two while browsing these pages, several 'low quality' images have been replaced with new ones. June 18th, 2002 : Some new information and at last some photo's of the new L140 Prototype have been uploaded, make sure to take a look at it. I also added some very nice photo's of a magnificent 1999 Diablo VT model with a stunning blue leather interior, some images of a yellow Diablo Roadster with a custom exhaust have also been uploaded. I've also worked over the image gallery of the Diablo Roadster VT-R, several photo's have been replaced with high res ones. I've added two new photo's of the Toycar the late Ferruccio made for his son Tonino, also some new images of the rare titanium Lamborghini bicycle were uploaded, together with photo's of one of the rare Lamborghini Boxer Bikes in Japan. May 7th, 2002 : I've continued to work on the 'Lamborghini related cars' pages to integrate them into the overall look and feel of the Lamborghini Cars enthusiast site. I received some very nice material from Raymond Stofer on the Laraki Fulgura, do take a look at it. Some new photo's have been added to the Cizeta Moroder V16T image gallery, also the gallery for the Lamborghini based Vector M12 was modified and received some very interesting new material. The entire Viper range also received some new material to show the sheer power of these cars, the Viper RT/10 Roadster, the Viper GTS and naturally the limited edition Viper GTS/R all have some new photo's on their galleries. April 25th, 2002 : I've added a new page featuring the possible Murcielago body colors, this page also lists the colors used for the interior, both in leather and alcantara. A total of six new photo's from the rare Diablo GTR racecar have been uploaded, also some very nice new pictures of the classic Diablo have been added. Note that I've 'refreshed' the different line-up pages with a new layout, which integrates better into the overall look and feel of the Lamborghini Cars website. Several of the Lamborghini related cars pages have been worked over, some low resolution photo's in these galleries have been replaced by new, high quality photo's. Make sure to take a look at the Bugatti Veyron page, new information about this 400 Km/h supercar has been added. Also information about a yet unknown, second Lamborghini powered Bizzarrini P538 has been located. April 5th, 2002 : I've added the photo's taken at the AutoMotorSport event in Zuidlaren which was held in March. During this update I also modified the Links section and the Various Car sites list, I've removed dead links and added a few interesting new ones. Brand new photographs of the Lamborghini Murcielago have been added to the image galleries, because of the rather large amount I added another image gallery to the list. Again the Miura galleries have been updated, this time I've uploaded a large number of Miura SV images. Some very nice photo's of a stunning Diablo SV have been uploaded, together with a series of new Diablo VT images. March 31st, 2002 : I've been going over the site and modified the wallpaper section, there is now a seperate page with the rather erotic tinted Lamborghini's and beautiful women, these wallpapers no longer reside between the ones featuring only the beauty of the machines. During this restyle, I've also added a Countach wallpaper and several new Diablo wallpapers. Stunning new Artwork has been added, be sure to take a look at the custom Murcielago. Some very interesting photo's of a brand new 2002 Diablo GT2 have been uploaded, a rare car seen in the official factory museum. A very nice series of new Miura P400 photo's has been added, together with a new selection of Miura S photo's. March 8th, 2002 : I've uploaded a very nice, new image of the Lamborghini tractor, also I've modified the history on that specific page. I also removed two images from the Diablo Roadster Prototype gallery because of the rather inferior quality, several new images have been added in this gallery to compensate this. I've also inserted some new photo's in the Diablo Gallery, featuring a stunning red Diablo, also several new Murcielago photo's have been added. February 19th, 2002 : Two new events have been added, the Italian Passion in Belgium, and the presentation of the new Automotorsport event in The Netherlands. January 28th, 2002 : I've added some very nice photo's of the brand new Lamborghini Murciélago finished in a stunning dark grey metallic paint together with a photo from the official public unveiling during the January 2002 AutoSalon in Brussels. January 18th, 2002 : I've added a new feature to the site, it is now possible for you to download a 16x11 inch 200Dpi CMYK file with a year 2002 calendar, you can print this file on any good color printer and have a very special Lamborghini Cars 2002 Calendar for your own use. Photo's of a stunning, orange pearl metallic Diablo VT6L Jota have been added, a nice selection of six new photo's were added featuring the Diablo Roadster by Affolter. Several new photo's of the Diablo Affolter Evolution are also available now, another interesting addition are the list of new Affolter Evolution Roadster images, be sure to take a look at these. January 10th, 2002 : I've completely redone the layout design on the framed version of the website for the New Year and changed the logo on the main page for the non-framed layout, also the divider line has been updated, I hope you like the new look. A very nice Lamborghini Diablo has been added, the Diablo S-SV by PAA Motorsport is now available, highly customized but awesome looking, also a total of seven new photo's of the rare Diablo Koenig Special have been added. The image gallery for the rare Diablo SE30 was also updated during this new upload. A highly customized Countach QuattoValvole has been added, finished in a fantastic pearl metallic blue, also the magnficent Countach Vortech Charger image gallery received eight new photo's. December 11th, 2001 : I've worked on the presentation of the pages this time, the buttons on the pages have been updated, while I tried to modify each single page to feature the special color scroll bars, also the 'back to list' and 'back to main' animations have been modified. Another nice selection of new Murciélago photo's has been added, a sixth image gallery has been added to contain them all, also some new photo's of the latest Diablo evolution, the Diablo VT 6.0 were uploaded. Brand new photo's of the very rare Jalpa Spyder have been inserted into the pages. Note that a new Copyright notice has been added, I've encountered several sites that used copyright protected photo's from this website, without permission, they even removed the url and copyright notice found on the image itself, naturally this is totally unacceptable, action has been taken against this. November 5th, 2001 : The events page has been updated this time, the major event at Sant'Agata during the presentation of the new Lamborghini Murciélago was added, together with the presentation at the IAA 2001 Frankfurt Auto Show. Also the interesting event in Houten, The Netherlands, Auto Moto d'Italia has been added, some very nice Lamborghini's were shown. Note that the various Murciélago photo's from the first two events have also been added to the image galleries together with several other, new photo's. A second page has been added to the Diablo 6.0 SE Image galleries featuring several new photo's of this limited edition Lamborghini. October 8th, 2001 : Five new photo's of the stunning Diablo VT 6.0 have been added, among them two photo's of a rare VT-R model created by Roland Affolter, the Swiss Lamborghini importer. I've added a nice selection of classic Countach S models, while a new Gallery Seven page was added to host an impressive yellow LP400 S. Two new modified Murciélago's have again been added to the Artwork section, an extremely nice SV edition and a stunning new GT model. A brand new option is now available on the Lamborghini Cars website, a selection of Limited Edition Prints is now available, featuring the most magnificent Lamborghini models ever, each portfolio holds between ten and twelve prints and only 100 folders for each series have been printed, so it's a good idea to reserve yours as soon as possible. September 19th, 2001 : Again some new Murciélago wallpapers have been created, take a look at them, also I've written a detailed history of the new Murciélago model, illustrated with several photo's. I also received two special versions of the new model, take a look at the Artwork section to see a Murciélago GT and a GT-R version. September 15th, 2001 : Many new photo's have been added to the Murciélago Image Gallery 3, while stunning shots from the cars at the Frankfurt Auto Show are available in a fourth Gallery. Also a new wallpaper has been uploaded and the Press Release was given a special page while a new 'preliminary' History was written, finally the official press release movie is available for download, use the link at the bottom of Gallery 1, on the same gallery I've also added a photo of the limited edition scale model that was for sale at the factory, only 620 units were built. September 14th, 2001 : I've added the official photo's from the Murciélago to the image galleries, also a nice selection of new Murciélago wallpapers have been created. September 11th, 2001 : Finally the new Lamborghini Murciélago was introduced to a select audience invited at Sant'Agata during an event on September 8th 2001, a complete specifications sheet is available together with a large collection of new photo's. September 5th, 2001 : Several new Lamborghini wallpapers have been added to the Diablo section, also two very special new cars were uploaded into the User Artwork page, be sure to take a look at them. Some new photo's have been added to the Diablo VT 6.0 image galleries. August 7th, 2001 : Again 15 new photo's from the disguised Lamborghini L147, one magazine even published a possible name for the new Lamborghini model 'Murcielago', the Spanish name for 'bat', it could be possible, since this was one of two names that Automobili Lamborghini SpA registered some time ago, also some new information was added to the L147 History page. For the 2001 edition of the 24 hours in Spa Francorchamps, three Diablo GTR's qualified, unfortunately one had to abandon the race during the night, but the two remaining managed to finish second and third in their category. July 26th, 2001 : Perhaps a little update, but surely worth it, the very first spy photo's for the new Lamborghini L147 prototype, take a look at what the future might bring us ... July 24th, 2001 : The Lamborghini Cars website is being restyled, the official Automobili Lamborghini SpA colors are being used throughout the site now, a darker shade of yellow, black and white, the three main colors of the Lamborghini marque ... Note this is an ongoing process, some pages will not be modified at first, but they will all be made conform these styling guides soon. Three new photo's have been added to the awesome Diablo Affolter GTR gallery, and a large selection of sixteen new photographs were uploaded into a fourth Diablo GTR image gallery. Several new wallpapers have been added, two were uploaded into the Various section, three more were added into the Diablo pages. I've started a new Lamborghini Cars Forum, mainly because I assume you like to share some thoughts with other people but also because the earlier Message board I used just stopped their services, this new forum system will be much closer to what was intended from the start of Lamborghini Cars, a method of sharing your thoughts and ideas, both with me and the other Lamborghini fans on this website, take a look at it and post some messages ... July 12th, 2001 : A selection of seven new photo's have been uploaded into a fourth Miura P400 image gallery, while six pictures have been added to the Miura P400 S gallery. Six new photo's have been added to the Diablo SVR gallery together with another six Diablo GT photo's. Also a total of twelve new Diablo Roadster images have been published, and a nice collection of new Diablo Roadster MY 1999 photo's are now available too. June 27th, 2001 : A total of twelve new Silhouette photo's have been added, three on the Image gallery page 2, while nine others received a new Image gallery page 3. I've added six new photo's to the large Diablo VT 6L image galleries, while several new photo's have been added to the Countach Quattrovalvole galleries together with a series of new images on the LP500 S gallery. I've received some very interesting photo's of a customized Diablo, take a a look at the Diablo VT-X created by Newell MotorSports. A total of sixteen new photo's of the limited edition Diablo GTR have been added to the gallery, also take a look at the new photo's added to the Diablo series, six were added to the Diablo Image gallery 9 while nine more went onto Diablo Image gallery page 10. Some very nice photo's of a special red metallic Countach 25th Anniversary have been added. May 28th, 2001 : Important news was mailed to me by a member of this site, the May 2001 edition of an Italian car magazine actually featured new renderings of what is believed to be the new MY 2002 Lamborghini, take a look at them. A new event has been added to the list, the ILOC / LCN meeting in Neuss, a very large collection of Lamborghini's was present, be sure to take a look at the available image gallery. Five new images have been added to the Diablo SE 6.0 image gallery, while the earlier Diablo SE30 pages received a seventh image gallery with eleven new photo's. A nice collection of five brand new photo's have been uploaded into the Countach QVX Racecar gallery, while several new, interesting pictures are now available in the Countach 25th Anniversary galleries. May 11th, 2001 : Seven new pictures were uploaded into the Diablo SE Jota image galleries together with six brand new photo's of the Diablo SV MY 1999. I've also included about four new pictures to the Diablo VT Roadster MY 1999 image gallery, also note that a collection of ten images have been added to the Diablo VT 6.0 pages. A total of seven new images have been included in the 'hate it or love it ' Coatl gallery, also some new information about this very rare car has been added to the Lamborghini Coatl page. I've also added three new photo's of a very nice white, US edition Countach QuattroValvole. May 7th, 2001 : Three new photo's have been added to the Lamborghini / Bertone Athon image gallery, also two images of the special Al Burtoni Diablo Jota Americana were located together with a collection of six new Urraco P300 photo's. A series of eleven new Countach LP400 S pictures has been added, together with seven brand new Diablo VT Roadster photo's. April 25th, 2001 : Two new photo's have been added to the Diablo 6.0 SE image gallery, also a very rare Supercharged Diablo VT Alpine Edition has been found by a Lamborghini enthusiast. I've corrected a small error on the Lamborghini Countach QuattroValvole image galleries, a yellow model was mistaken for a real Lamborghini, while it was actually a Strohm Replica. Another very nice looking Countach was located, again a replica, but you should take a look at this customized Euroworks replica. April 17th, 2001 : Please take a look at a brand new impression of the Lamborghini prototype, and a very nice looking Diablo 6.0 SE GTR has been added to the User Artwork page. Four new cars have been added to the Lamborghini's in need of attention section. A very special Diablo has been added, the Diablo EVA 30 Special, a highly customized Diablo located in Japan, also five new Diablo VT 6.0 photo's have been added. A new photo has been added to the Miura P400 history page, also a collection of eight new images are now available on the Miura P400 image gallery, another ten photo's have been uploaded into the Miura P400 S image galleries. Also a total of nine new images have been added to the Miura SV galleries, while the stunning Miura SVJ photo gallery was updated with another nine new images. To complete this update I've added another five pictures to the Lamborghini LM002 gallery. April 11th, 2001 : Interesting new information about the again delayed Lamborghini prototype is available, also some new stuff about the factory and future projects are online now, surely worth taking a look at ... Some information and specifications of the Gigliato Aerosa have been added, a very nice image has been added to the ItalDesign Cala history page. Six new Countach QuattroValvole photo's are online now, Three new models have been added to the User Artwork section, be sure to check them out. The list of authorized Automobili Lamborghini SpA dealers has been updated together with the officially registered club listings. I've received a very nice new Diablo Wallpaper from Momo Racing, do check it out. April 2nd, 2001 : Finally some new information about the second 3500 GT Zagato has been found, there were actually two cars built, and not one as was recently believed. Official sources indicated the Miura SV 5110 wasn't the last SV ever built, actually three more SV's would be produced after that one, this new information has been added to the Miura SV history page. A total of nine images from the Geneva Auto Show have been added, clearly showing the limited edition Diablo SE 6.0 model, a new page has been added to the Diablo VT Alpine Edition image galleries with ten new photo's. The information about the Diablo GT1 has been updated, also a large collection of new images for this Diablo GT1 are now available. The information about a special Diablo SE Jota R has been taken from the Diablo GT1 pages and put on a dedicated page, be sure to also take a look at the image gallery for the SE Jota R. You might not believe it, but I've located images of a Diablo SE Limousine, sure it's a replica, but I wanted you to see it anyway. March 26th, 2001 : Three very special Countach LP400 models have been added, together with three new photo's of the Countach prototype and another three QuattroValvole pictures. Also be sure to check out the seven new Countach Rain-X Racecar images. Ten new Lamborghini LM002 pictures are available together with four new Gigliato Aerosa images. March 12th, 2001 : A total of eleven new Countach LP500 S images have been added. Four new Diablo Wallpapers are available now. March 5th, 2001 : At the 2001 Geneva Auto Show the latest Diablo 6.0 SE was shown, a Special Edition, limited to only 40 cars in two different colors. A very nice collection of twelve new Countach QuattroValvole pictures has been added, together with six new 25th Anniversary images. February 26th, 2001 : Another image has been added to the ever growing impressions found of the new Lamborghini model to be unvieled during the summer of 2001. Five new pictures have been added to the Diablo VT galleries, together with six new Diablo SVR photo's. Three new images of a rare Countach Spider have been added to the page. February 12th, 2001 : A total of 14 photo's of the Diablo SV have been added while another six new images of the rare Diablo SV Monterey Edition were uploaded in addition to the eight new Diablo SV 1999 pictures. February 5th, 2001 : Two photo's of a rare Diablo VT have been added together with five new images of the Diablo VT, a total of ten new Diablo pictures have been uploaded. Some very nice photo's of the extremely rare Diablo VT-R have been added to the site. Also about ten new images of the magnificent Diablo VT 6.0 have been added. A nice collection of six new Islero 400 GT is available now together with seven new Islero 400 GTS photo's. Five images have been added to the Espada 400 GTE gallery together with two views of a magnificent blue metallic Espada 400GT. A new drawing of what the Diablo Successor may look like has been added to the newsflash page. I've recently received two new Lamborghini books, take a look at them for more information. January 22nd, 2001 : A very rare Diablo has been located, the Diablo SVS was the road-legal version of the Diablo SVR, only three were ever made. Some official regulations and information has been added to the Diablo GT-R section, while another six new images are now available in the Affolter Roadster gallery and two Affolter Le Mans photo's were added together with a large number of Affolter GTR images. Four new images have been uploaded into the Jalpa galleries, New wallpapers have been added, check out the latest Diablo additions. January 15th, 2001 : A nice series of brand new Countach LP400 pictures have been uploaded, together with another collection of LP500 S images. New information has been added to the Diablo Alpine Edition has been added, together with a large collection of very rare images found at the new image gallery. Three new Affolter Roadster images have been added at the bottom of the page, also two new Affolter GTR Roadster pictures were added. January 2nd, 2001 : The first update of the third millennium, and it's a good one, finally the latest Lamborghini prototype can be found on the Lamborghini Cars site. Some new images of a rare Twin Turbo Diablo Roadster have been added, while a total of eleven new Diablo SE30's are now available, be sure to take a look at the silver metallic and the custom red ones ... Five new Lamborghini LM002 pictures have been uploaded. December 22nd, 2000 : Some interesting new information about the new Diablo Successor has been found, check it out. A collection of 15 new pictures of the classic 400 GT 2+2 have been added, together with 12 new Jalpa P3500 pictures. Some very rare pictures have been added to the Miura SVJ image galleries. The information about the Countach LP400 S has been updated, some rare stuff happened during the production of the LP400 S, also new unseen pictures have been added, also be sure to check out the unique LP 400 images that were added. I've also modified the text for the Diablo VT 6.0 model, according to the Dutch importer it is possible to order the Diablo 6.0 with rear wheel drive only, bringing the driving experience very close to the one you'll have with the Diablo GT. December 12th, 2000 : New images have been added to the Countach QuattroValvole gallery, also a nice yellow Strosek Diablo was photographed recently, and a collection of new Diablo pictures was added. The information about the Countach LP400 S Charger was incorrect, this has been modified now thanks to a kind overview of actual specifications by the original owner of the car. November 28th, 2000 : A total of nine brand new Diablo images have been added to the galleries while another nine Diablo VT pictures have been added together with two new Diablo VT Alpine Edition images. A rather large number of new Diablo Roadster 1999 images were uploaded together with many new Diablo VT Roadster pictures, be sure to check out page 5 too, about fifteen Diablo SV pictures have been added too. Three Diablo Strosek images have been added, also twelve brand new pictures of the Diablo SE30 were added, be sure to take a look at page 6 of the gallery too, in addition to this a total of nine new Diablo SE30 Jota pictures were located. The Diablo VT 1999 gallery received eight new pictures. Some very rare images of the Sbarro Countach tuning have been supplied to me by a fan, November 20th, 2000 : A new image of a rare Affolter Roadster has been added, together with some images of a very rare Urraco P250 S. Some very rare images of the Countach LP400 were located, also a series of Countach LP400 S images have been added to the gallery while images of an tuned LP400 S with a Vortech charger were located. Four new images have been added to the Countach LP500S gallery, nine pictures were added to the Countach QuattroValvole image gallery and about 12 new images have been uploaded into the 25th Anniversary pages, be sure to take a look at page 8 of this gallery too. Some very rare pictures of the Countach L150 prototype were found. A total of ten new images of the Diablo have been uploaded, four on page six of the image galleries and six more on the seventh page. Another ten pictures from the rare Diablo GT have been added. A nice series of new Miura SVJ's have been uploaded. November 6th, 2000 : A new event has been covered, the Auto-Moto d'Italia in The Netherlands, several Lamborghini's were present, among them a very rare original 400 GT 2+2 in unrestored condition. A total of fourteen new Diablo VT 6.0 images have been added, take a look at them, some new images of a very special race converted Diablo SV have been added. Also a large collection of new Countach LP400 S pictures were uploaded together with a significant amount of QuattroValvole images. The classic Lamborghini's aren't forgotten this time, some very nice pictures of the 400 GT 2+2 were added to the gallery. October 26th, 2000 : A total of six new Urraco P300 images have been uploaded, together with another three images of the stunning Diablo VT 6.0 photographed at Hessing in Zaventem. At a recent classic car show in Brussels a very nice Countach LP 400 S was displayed. October 20th, 2000 : A new section has been added to the site, a complete overview of all Lamborghini models with their price when new and an indication of the current market value of that car, check out the Lamborghini market values page. A large amount of new 1999 Diablo SV pictures have been added, together with some stunning Diablo images and two magnificent Diablo VT 1999 pictures. Two very special versions of the classic Countach LP400 have been added together with three more 'normal' version of this early Countach, also a highly customized Countach LP 400 S was mailed to me. October 16th, 2000 : A very nice 99 Diablo SV has been added together with eight stunning 99 VT Roadster images, also one picture of the Diablo VT 1999 has been uploaded, while the Diablo VT Roadster gallery received three new images, also the magnificent Diablo VTTT was updated with three new pictures. A collection of nine new Countach LP500S images has been added to the gallery. The official Authorized Lamborghini Dealers for the United States have been finally updated. October 12th, 2000 : A large amount of new 25th Anniversary images have been added to the gallery, be sure to check out image gallery 7 for a very special Countach, also a very rare Countach has been added, the actual LP500 S US Prototype made in 1982. Six brand new LP 500 QV images have been added, picturing a special 1988 1/2 model. A total of fifteen new Diablo VT 6.0 pictures have been added together with some new Diablo wallpapers, be sure to check out the 8th image gallery on the Diablo 6.0 pages. A new scale model has been added, the Diablo SV in 1/18th from Auto Art, also the images for the Diablo VT Roadster from Auto Art have been modified. October 4th, 2000 : Due to the large number of Diablo 6.0 images sent to me, I've added a seventh image page to the Diablo VT 6.0 image galleries, another eight images have been added to the Diablo SV gallery, while a picture of a rare RHD 1999 Diablo VT Roadster was uploaded too. Seven new images have been added to the Countach LP500 S gallery while another two new Miura SV images have been added too. A total of 24 new Miura images have been added to the Miura Reunion 2000 event gallery. September 25th, 2000 : New images have been added to the Urraco P250 gallery, two views of the interior of a Countach 25th Anniversary have been uploaded. A rather important number of new Diablo VT 6.0 images have been added to the already large gallery, while the Diablo 1999 Roadster gallery received a fourth image page, another four images have been added to the Diablo VT 1999 gallery. A collection of ten new images have been uploaded in the Diablo SV Monterey gallery. A new image has been supplied for the User Artwork page, a modified Lamborghini, the Diablo GTL take a look at it. September 18th, 2000 : Several images have been added to the Diablo Roadster Momo Edition gallery, take a look at them, the Diablo SE30 gallery received three new pictures while the Diablo Jota gallery was updated with two special images. Also some new pictures have been added to the Diablo Millennium Roadster image gallery, and new pictures have been added to the Diablo VT 6.0 pages. The Countach 25th Anniversary gallery has been enlarged with three new pictures, while the 350 GT was updated with two new images. The few image galleries that still used the old layout have now been converted into the new version, with the specification of the file size and image dimensions. The Miura Reunion 2000 event has been added to the list, including five stunning images of these magnificent Miura's, also the Concorso Italiano has been added, this event holds 24 images of different Lamborghini's and other Italian supercars. September 11th, 2000 : A minor update, some images on the Diablo GT gallery were updated, now in full 750 pixels wide format, while two new pictures were added to the Diablo GT gallery page 4, also the Diablo GTR gallery was updated and three new images have been added. September 8th, 2000 : A major redesign has been executed on the Lamborghini Cars site, a complete version of the site is now available in a 'framed' layout, while the normal 'frameless' version is still online for those who prefer to navigate the site this way, and also for those visitors with a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels or less. The site with frames was actually designed with a resolution of 1024x768 in mind, it works on lower screen resolutions, but the layout may look weird sometimes. The User artwork gallery has been extended once again, some very nice versions of the latest Diablo VT 6.0 and the LM002 are now presented, take a look at them. A brand new page has been added to the Lamborghini Cars site, an Events page listing all known Lamborghini related event all over the world, some of them even have another page linked with several images from that specific event and some background information. Brand new Diablo VT 1999 images have been added, take a look at them, a nice Diablo SV Strosek has been added together with three new Diablo Affolter images. August 10th, 2000 : Another Massive upload has been performed, a little over 350 new images have been added. Nearly all the production Lamborghini models received new images, but to name the most important I'll list them here : The Diablo 2wd, Diablo SV, the Diablo SV 1999, the Diablo GT, the Diablo GTR and naturally the Diablo VT 6.0. Naturally the earlier Countach wasn't forgotten, the Countach LP400 S, the Countach LP500 QV and the Countach 25th Anniversary and a very rare image of the Wolf Countach have been added. The Miura galleries were also updated, especially the Miura SV and the Miura SVJ galleries. The classic front engined Lamborghini's were updated too, take a look at the 400 GT, the Espada 400 GT and the Espada 400 GTE III galleries for new pictures. And two V8 engined models galleries were enlarged too, note the Urraco P250 and especially the Jalpa P3500 image galleries. With the kind help of ItalianCarParts I am now able to supply you with a list of authorised Lamborghini Workshop and owner manuals available through their services, unfortunately, since all these manuals are copyright protected, I can't allow you to consult them online. I've just received the reprint of the Lamborghini Miura book by Peter Coltrin and J-F Marchet. I've checked and updated the entire Alphabetical Index List, normally all models can be found in this large list, also a wrong link in the Site Map has been corrected. A new page with paint codes has been added, listing the new special colors available for the Diablo 6.0. I've added some Performance Comparison Tables to the site, they give an overview of the different Lamborghini production cars by horsepower rating, top speed, acceleration and so on, take a look at them. July 14th, 2000 : The image galleries for all the Diablo, Countach and Miura models have been redesigned into the new standard layout with the image information listed underneath each thumbnail. Four new pictures taken at Viva Italia 2000 in Assen, The Netherlands, were uploaded into the Diablo image gallery, A total of four new images have been added to the Countach LP500 S image gallery and two more were added to it's History page. Five new pictures were added to the Countach 25th Anniversary image gallery. I've just received a very rare book on Lamborghini through Amazon.com's Out of Print service, the Lamborghini, a source book by R.C. Ackerson, a publication dating from 1984 and not available at normal bookstore anymore. June 30th, 2000 : A very rare image of the Jalpa Spyder was sent to me by Raymond Stofer, another fan created some drawings of this one of a kind Lamborghini and they are now available on the site. Raymond also supplied me with several pictures of the rare Miura SVJ once owned by Patrick Mimram himself. Three new Lamborghini Artwork pictures were added, a special P250 GT, a convertible version of the classis Espada and a stunning looking Jarama Roadster. New wallpapers have been added to the Diablo section, take a look at them, I'll also included a nice FreeWare program written by Gianpaolo Bottin, the gPhotoShow software allows you to use any image gallery as a screensaver. A very nice dark metallic Diablo Roadster was added together with a stunning RS blue Diablo SV seen from the rear. A rather special picture of a Jarama GTS has been added to the gallery, and again a new rendering of the LM003 Galileo has been supplied to me. June 20th, 2000 : Three new Diablo GT photo's have been added, together with six new Diablo 6.0 pictures, also two pictures of the Diablo VT Roadster were uploaded and a collection of 14 new Diablo SE30 pictures. A new image of the very last Diablo SE Jota made has been found. The Pregunta gallery has received two new photo's. Much work has also gone into the modification of the Diablo production cars Image galleries, these are now all presented in the correct format, with the file size and image width and height displayed underneath each thumbnail. June 16th, 2000 : The entire site is now also located at : WWW.LAMBOCARS.COM, the connection to this server should be much faster than the Xoom account, so check it out and change your favorites-settings. A new Diablo version has been located, the Diablo Racetec, a 690 Bhp race car for the road, two very nice Diablo images have been added, the Diablo image galleries now hold only 15 thumbnails instead of the earlier 30 per page, this to allow a 'decent' download time for slower connection users. A stunning black Diablo VT Roadster image is available together with a new yellow Diablo Roadster MY1999 picture, a total of eight new Diablo 6.0 photo's have been added. Four photo's of a very special Countach LP400 S were added, showing a first attempt at a US legal LP400 S. A total of five new Miura P400 pictures were uploaded, with two new Miura P400 S photo's. Also a new image of a very early road test of the P140 Prototype has been sent to me. June 14th, 2000 : I've just been able to buy two Lamborghini books I didn't own yet, both are published by Transport Source Books and are actually a collection of road tests on the various Lamborghini models compiled into two volumes. The transfer to the new server takes more time than I figured, the entire site except about half of the high resolution images has been transferred by now, uploading the rest should be completed by the end of this week, by then I've uploaded a little over 300 Mb of data, so just a little more patience please ... the www.lambocars.com is nearly online. June 6th, 2000 : A massive update was executed this time, a little over 400 new images have been added, nearly all image galleries were enlarged so giving a complete list here would give a massive list, therefore I will only mention the most special additions. A very nice impression of a Lamborghini Islero Spider has been supplied to me, while a unique Espada Convertible was found together with a customized 400 GT and a very special looking 1974 Urraco New images and information about the LM 003 Borneo / Gemini have been sent to me by Sawiyya, also very rare images about a Jalpa successor designed after the Cala were located, also a yet unknown project of Megatech, the Lamborghini Buggy was located. Also some nice images of a Tonino Lamborghini Golfcart have been added. May 23rd, 2000 : The Lamborghini Cars website just got sponsored by David Blade and Johan Kerstens, David kindly supplied a Webserver to hold the entire website while Johan offered the registration and use of www.lambocars.com. This way the Lamborghini Cars : Full specifications website will no longer be hosted at Xoom.com who were kind enough to allow me the use of over 250 Mb of disk space, this new server should have a faster access than the Xoom servers, allowing you to view the pages and download the images at a faster rate than before. Transferring all the information will however take some time, so these Xoom pages are still up to date and online, therefore the www.lambocars.com url still points to an Under Construction page, but from June 7th 2000 the complete site should be available on the new location, the .com url will then take you to that brand new server. But let's take a look at the current update : Two new images of the classic 400 GT 2+2 were located, while another three photo's of the 350 GT have been added, also a total of five new images featuring the 350 GTV were added. Two photo's of the rather rare Jarama 400 GTS are now available. Four new Jalpa pictures were added too, while two stunning photo's of the Countach 25th Anniversary have been uploaded. A very nice picture of an early Diablo was found together with five new Diablo VT 6.0 photo's and a brand new photo of the early Diablo prototype. Two photo's of the very first Diablo SE30 for the United States were found. May 17th, 2000 : A very rare image of the LM003 Borneo has been mailed to me by an enthusiast, also three new images of a black LM002 have been located, while the LM002 image gallery now has a special page for the LM002 Americana edition. Much work went into the reprogramming of the image galleries, at this time the Diablo gallery is presented in the new shape of things to come, also two new images have been added at this moment, as you can see here, new images will be presented inside a red color instead of the dark blue color used for 'older' images... Also each image is now listed with the pixel width and height and a file size for the Higher Resolution image, this way you can easier take a look at the images that are more interesting to you... Two new images of the rare 350 GTS have been supplied. May 4th, 2000 : A new E-mail address has been activated for this website, the old address at Xoom.com still works but I've found it could become unreliable from time to time and lost messages. The new address is : info@lambocars.com I will modify the pages to use this address instead of the xoom account, but this will take some time, please try to use this new address in the future. A new page has been added to the Lamborghini Cars website, the User Artwork page, here you can find Lamborghini cars with a difference, created by visitors of this site, they represent some modified existing Lamborghini or even completely new prototypes you should take a look at... But also several new images were uploaded this time, two very nice photo's of a Diablo MY2000 in action were located, Two new images were inserted into the Countach LP500 S history page, while a third one was added to the image gallery. Two very nice images of the early Miura P400 were located, an image of the massive rear of a Miura SV was supplied by Jorge Marchante, an avid fan of these Lamborghini pages. A stunning silver metallic Jalpa P3500 was found. A rare image showing the LMA Prototype together with a Jalpa and a Countach was uploaded, also a new look at the stunning LM 002 is now online. Two new image of the rare 400 GT were uploaded, a new image of the early Espada Series I at a Motor Show was supplied to me, together with three new Jarama GT photo's. Also a brand new photo picturing the very rare Marzal was mailed to me. Three new images of the recently sold Zagato Raptor were supplied to me by Stefan Sehring, a fourth image was sent to me by a UK fan and included in the Raptor History page. April 25th, 2000 : A new layout has been created for the main menu page, making it more compact so you'll need to scroll less to view the different menu-items. The Countach Specification pages have been updated this time, working with the image links like the Diablo pages. This time only one new Diablo image was found, also a photo of a special LM002 Platinum Edition has been uploaded. A new image was sent to me picturing the very last Countach ever made, together with two images of the very first Countach prototype and two views of the rare Walter Wolf special Countach. A total of six new images of the Countach LP400 S were found, while a bright orange Countach LP400 was added too. Another view of a red Countach 25th Anniversary is now available, while a close look at the special 25th Anniv three-piece wheel was found. Three new images of the Espada Series I were added, also two new images of the Espada Series II were mailed to me. Another four images picturing the rare Athon were added, while three new photo's of the equally rare Bravo have been uploaded. Also an image of the massive Genesis was supplied to me, together with a new look at the Jalpa prototype. April 17th, 2000 : Several new Wallpapers have been added, two new Classic Lamborghini backgrounds and one very nice Miura SV-J one, also the large collection of Diablo wallpapers has been expanded. A special Diablo VT image was found, the 1000th Diablo ever made, five new Diablo images have been added. Also a nice interior shot of the Diablo VT Roadster has been uploaded together with an interior view of the Diablo VT, a new photo has been added picturing the limited series Diablo SE. Two shots of the Diablo GTR at the Geneva Auto Show have been mailed to me by a visitor, also two nice close-ups of the Diablo VT Twin Turbo have been found while one image was modified. An extremely rare Countach LP500 QV was found, this car was owned by Malcolm S Forbes, also the LM002 he owned is now available, also a stunning black Countach LP500 S is now available. A rather custom painted Countach QuattroValvole was uploaded, together with a very nice image of a bright Countach 25th Anniversary interior has been uploaded. Several Miura images have been added, one image of a very nice Miura P400 SV and two images of the earlier Miura P400 cars. A very good looking US-Edition P250 has been found, while two new images of the rather rare LM002 American are also uploaded. A new color image of the Official Lamborghini Museum has been located. April 10th, 2000 : Another big update, 115 new images are now available, and the Specifications pages for all production Diablo's have been modified, take a look at them... The other specifications pages (Countach, Miura, etc...) will follow shortly. But let's talk images : A brand new tuned Lamborghini has been located, the Diablo SV Turbo by Platinum Motors and three new images of a stunning lavender metallic Diablo SV Monterey were supplied to me, together with a very nice image of a red Diablo SE 30. Another new image has been added to the Diablo VT Roadster gallery, also both the Diablo and the Diablo VT galleries received several new images. Five nice images of the Diablo SV were found and a new photo was added to the extensive Diablo SV MY 1999 gallery while three new images are available in the Diablo GT galleries. Again two new photo's have been found about the Diablo VT Roadster MY 1999, a total of six new images were found on the Diablo VT Jota, also three new details of an original Diablo 30SE Jota have been supplied, courtesy of the Lamborghini Registry, again five new photo's on the Diablo VT MY 1999 are now available. Also a massive eleven new images were uploaded picturing the limited edition Diablo VT Roadster Momo Edition, this time two brand new images were found of a rather special Affolter GTR, three images of the rare Diablo VT-R Roadster are available together with four photo's of the extremely rare Diablo SV-R. Six new photo's were found picturing the Countach LP400, a nice image of a US-edition Countach LP500 S was found together with a red European specifications one, while two shots of a US-edition Countach QuattroValvole were supplied to me by Paul Cobbs, who contributed a lot of images for the current update. Two new photo's of the Countach 25th Anniversary have been uploaded. A very good image of the engine mounted in the early Miura P400 has been uploaded too, another three images of a dark metallic Miura P400 SV were made available, also three very nice images of a Miura Jota Replica have been found. A total of twelve new images are available for the 350 GT, two images of the very rare aluminium bodied 400 GT have been found, while another view of the Espada Series II interior was located. Four new images of a Jarama 400 GTS were uploaded, Four very nice images of the Jalpa have been supplied to me, two of them by Paul Cobbs. Five images of the very rare LM002 American were located and two photo's of the LM002 were mailed to me. A rather nice looking drawing of an early Stella design was sent to me together with a first impression of the Super Diablo or Canto, this was not very clear at the time when this drawing was being made. Again new information about the Zagato Raptor has been found, together with four new images of the Raptor sent to me by a Dutch Lamborghini fan. I'm sorry to inform you that six images for the Diablo Koenig had to be removed because the owner couldn't give permission to use them because of copyright issues. March 16th, 2000 : A massive 167 new images have been added ! Two new 2WD Diablo images have been uploaded, a total of nine images were found of a custom ordered Diablo. A detail of the fuel cap for the Diablo 6.0 has been added and two images of a rather rare right-hand drive Diablo VT Roadster were found while another four images depicting the Diablo VT Roadster 1999 were inserted, an image of the massive V12 used in the MY 1999 Roadster has also been added. Three new images of a customized MY 1999 Diablo SV were added too, while a very special Diablo SV image has been found, finally some information and twelve images of the Diablo Millenium Roadster have been located. Seven new images have been found for the Diablo SE 30, also ten new images have been added to the Diablo GT image gallery and four new images have been uploaded into the Diablo GTR image gallery, while three images were found of a rare Diablo SV Roadster. Four new images were added to the Diablo Evolution by Affolter page while another image has been uploaded into the Diablo Evolution GTR by Affolter history page, and one image was added to the Evolution GTR Image gallery, a collection of eight new images were found of the extremely rare Diablo Evolution GTR Le Mans by Affolter were located. Also some more information was found about a custom made glass roof for the Diablo Roadster A detailed image of the 4-Liter engine used in the Countach LP400 has been located, and three new images were added to the LP400 image gallery, another four photo's were added to the Countach LP500 S gallery, two images of the Countach 25th Anniv. have been uploaded. A total of fourteen new images were added to the Miura S gallery, another close up image was added to the Miura SV history page. Two new photo's were found of the 350 GT, four new images were uploaded into the 400 GT gallery, the 400 GT 2+2 gallery also received seven new images, five images of the actual Geneva Auto Show Islero 400 GT were found and eight new images depicting the Islero 400 GTS have been added. Also a new image has been added to the Jarama 400 GT page, while another four new images were added to the Jarama 400 GTS gallery. A total of nine images were added in the Espada 400 GTE image gallery, and eight new images were found of a Espada 400 GTE Series III. One new image has been added to the Urraco P250 gallery, two new photo's were also added to the Urraco P300 gallery and two nice photo's of the rare Silhouette were found. Again seven brand new images have been uploaded into the Jalpa image gallery. A total of four new images have been added to the LM002 Image gallery. Two very interesting images from the Canto were found, the new 6-Liter engine and an early drawing for the interior. The History Page for the Zagato Raptor has been updated, including the sale of the prototype during the 2000 Geneva Auto Show. March 6th, 2000 : The Lamborghini Cars : Full specifications website has been awarded the Best Car Site Award. by CarAward.com. Five new images were added to the Diablo history page, and another twelve new images were added to the image gallery for the Diablo, also two new images have been added to the Diablo VT history page and another four images were uploaded into the Diablo VT image gallery. Six new images of the Diablo tuned by Koenig were uploaded and new information has been located about the Rinspeed tuned Diablo VT. Two new official Automobili Lamborghini SpA images were added to the large Diablo GT gallery and another two images were uploaded into the Diablo SV-R gallery. A new interior shot of the Diablo SV has been uploaded together with three new images for the Diablo Roadster VT-R. Two new images have been added to the Countach QuattroValvole gallery, while another very nice blue example of the Countach 25th Anniversary has been added. Three new images of the Jalpa has been located, and a stunning black 400 GT 2+2 has been uploaded, also a very nice image of a PIII Urraco has been found. The image gallery for the Miura SV has been updated with one new image too. This time also the Wallpaper section was updated, twelve new Diablo wallpapers are available now, also eight new Countach wallpapers were uploaded and the Miura now has a separated page were one new Miura wallpaper can be found. On the Various Lamborghini wallpapers, two new Cala featured backgrounds have been added. February 18th, 2000 : Two brand new images of a stunning Diablo have been added, this car is actually owned by a VIV-member of this Lamborghini Cars site. February 16th, 2000 : Massive upload : over 70 new images have been added !! Sixteen new images were added to the Diablo VT 6.0 gallery while two new images have been incorporated into the Diablo VT 6.0 history page. Three new images of the early Diablo have been located and a magnificent example of the Diablo VT Jota Americana was found, also three new images of the Diablo VT were uploaded, together with three new images of the limited edition Diablo SV Monterey, while eleven new images were added to the Diablo VT Roadster 1999 image gallery and one to the modified Diablo VT Roadster 1999 history page. A stunning black Anniversary Countach has been uploaded together with a new Countach LP500 S image and a very nice red Countach LP400 S, also an official Bertone photograph was uploaded showing the magnificent Miura P400. Also a very nice image of a Jalpa P3500 owned by Rick Russo has been added, a rather rare 350 GT which underwent a full ground-up restoration has been uploaded together with an image of the 400 GT 2+2. February 3rd, 2000 : The Books section has been completely reworked, all books listed now have a link to a special page with a high resolution image and the complete information on that specific book. The PPG paint code for the special red used on the Countach 25th Anniversario has been added. January 28th, 2000 : The entire Diablo Line-Up page has been reworked, now using seperate pages for the 1999 model year Diablo's, the links are now chronologically sorted. The Diablo VT 6.0 MY 2000 page is now also split in the Specifications, History and Images pages like most other models, also some new information about the 2000 production year is listed on the History page. Also most 'History pages' for the Diablo's now include close-up images of the items described in the text, this will be done for all other pages too in time. Also a rather large number of new images have been added for the Diablo Roadster and the Diablo SV 1999, a new image an two modified images for the Diablo SE30 were uploaded. A new 1999 Diablo GTC has also been uploaded, together with two new images of the already legendary Diablo GT. A new image for the Miura P400 S has been added, also a new image for the Hueliez Pregunta Roadster is now available. January 19th, 2000 : A brand new Diablo VT will be available for the model year 2000, the Diablo VT 6.0 MY 2000, while the Diablo GTR page has now been split in the standard specifications, history and Image list pages. The Diablo GTC / Jota GTR has been updated with the 1999 information of the Japanese GTC races, also a new image has been added to the Diablo VS page. The information on the Miura ZN75 Roadster has been updated. January 10th, 2000 : Several images made by Marcel de Lange were used on the site without his permission, fortunately Mr de Lange was kind enough to allow me the use of his images by including a copyright notice on their high resolution versions. Again a new image of the Diablo GT was located, and six official images of the brand new Diablo GTR were added together with several new images of the Diablo prototypes, five new images of the stunning Diablo Roadster MY 1999 were added, a nice yellow Diablo SV MY 1999 was also uploaded. A nice picture of a Diablo VT at high speed and a new image showing a Diablo SV is now also available, together with a fifth image of the rare Diablo SV Monterey. A very nice image of a red Diablo was uploaded together with a brand new image of a Countach QV owned by Stefan Sehring. Several new images of the Silhouette prototype were added, a special page was created to describe this prototype, a new image was added showing the interior of the Frua Faena and the interior of the unique LM 004 is now available too. Several new pages were added, a complete list of Official Information on Automobili Lamborghini SpA has been added, and the Site map has been completely reworked, the original Site map has been turned into a Help Page January 6th, 2000 : The first update in the year 2000 ... a Major Update This time I've created an all-new look for the entire website, no more Automobili Lamborghini in my logo, the correct name Lamborghini Cars : Full specifications is now used on all the logos. The different line-up pages now all use a specific, newly designed background image. A new feature has been added to the site : a Newsflash page is now available displaying a list off important news items from Sant'Agata, ordered by date ... A brand new Diablo was presented during the December Bologna Motor Show, the Diablo GTR is a race-ready version of the Diablo GT. Also two very nice images of a special Diablo Momo Edition were located. A very rare red Diablo SE30 was uploaded, while a visitor of the site was kind enough to send me an image of his Diablo SE Jota, while another image of a black Diablo SE Jota was also added. A new image of a special 400 GT has been found, the car was converted into a 400 GTS Convertible, also a very rare Jarama SVR was found. New images were found showing the Jalpa Prototype, also a very nice image of a P250 Urraco was added along with a modified Silhouette. A new rear view of the LM001 Prototype was located while the specifications for the LM 002 now include the presentation of the LM American type, the history for the LM 002 now lists the difference between the LM002 and the LM American. The text for the Miura Jota Roadster has been modified, while two new images of the Miura SVJ with chassisnumber 5090 were uploaded. A new image of the P140 Prototype was located, also the images for the P140 are now located on a specific page, seperated from the history of the car. New information on the 3500 GT Zagato was located while the history for the Frua Faena was also modified. The Lamborghini Club list has been updated, also the worldwide Lamborghini Dealers now include the official dealer for Belgium. The Lamborghini production overview and the total production numbers pages have been updated to include the model year 2000 information. The Alphabetical index has been modified, now using small thumbnails for each part of the list split by newly designed lines allowing you to return to the top of the page. December 17th, 1999 : A very nice image of a Lamborghini Diablo has been added, four new images were added to the Portofino image list and the history has been updated with brand new information. A new image was located for the Countach LP400 S and another image for the LP 500 S was uploaded, two new pictures of the Countach LP400 were also added. A brand new image of a rather special LM 002 was uploaded, a very nice red Islero 400 GTS was found together with two new 400 GT 2+2 images and a very rare 350 GT. December 8th, 1999 : The Links page has been split into a real page with website Links and a page containing only the Webrings this site is listed on, I felt these two didn't belong together on one page anymore ... A second Award has been obtained by your favourite Lamborghini website, check it out. Again several new images were added, six new ItalDesign Cala images were found, another Diablo GT on display and several new pictures of a rare silver metallic Countach 25th Anniversary were uploaded. A rather dramatic shot of a nice 1999 model Diablo VT Roadster has been added, together with a new image of a Diablo VT Roadster owned by one of our VIV-members. November 2nd, 1999 : All New Buttons have been implimented, in a new 3-D look. A brand new option is now available from this website, an extensive collection of MS Windows Wallpapers is available in the three most common sizes, 640x480, 800x600 and even 1024x768 pixels. Also a series of 9 different screensavers are available for download. A highly modified Lamborghini Diablo Special was located through a visitor of this site, take a look at it ! Several new images from a Diablo Jota were added, along with two close-up images of the Diablo SV-R, three new Diablo SE30 images were also added. A very nice rear view of the Diablo Roadster prototype has been located, also three new Diablo VT-R images were uploaded. A new image featuring the P250 Urraco has been added together with an image of the Countach QuattroValvole and an Espada Series II. October 4th, 1999 : A very rare drawing of the Super Diablo was found together with an announcement stating the Canto to still be used as a Diablo successor to be unveiled at the 2000 Geneva Auto Show, it has been seen at high speed on a secluded test track in Italy, without using any disguise. A new image of the Diablo GT was found while it was being tested at a high speed test track in Italy. Some very interesting information was added to the Diablo VTTT page, another image was added to the Diablo Roadster Race Version A third image for the limited edition Diablo Momo Roadster was uploaded. Another image of the Miura SVJ owned by Nicholas Cage has been added, two new images from Japan showing the Countach race car were located. Also a new Countach QuattroValvole image was added, and a very good looking Countach LP500S was uploaded. The strangest Lamborghini I've ever seen can be found on this brand new Countach page. A special treatment on an LM002 was found, also the Lamborgini Espada once owned by Ferruccio Lamborghini himself was located through the Lamborghini Registry. The Lamborghini related posters page has been updated again, now including links to some higher resolution images of these posters. Again a Bugatti Chiron image was added, while two existing images were upgraded to higher resolution, also the text now includes specifications and a full description of the car. September 28th, 1999 : The Diablo GT page is now split into the standard pages for specs, history and images, also a few new images were added and others were improved. Several of the Diablo VT, SV and VT Roadster, model year 1999 images were improved, a brand new customized black Diablo VT was added. Two new images of the Diablo Roadster prototype were located, together with a new image for the Diablo Roadster by Koenig. Several new images from the Affolter tuned Diablo's have been found, a new image showing the transparant roof on a Diablo Roadster, new images of the Diablo GT1 and also one picture of the rear of a Affolter GTR Diablo. Two new images for the Countach LP400 S sent to Haïti were found, a very nice looking black Countach LP500 S was uploaded, the very last Countach LP500 QV that was delivered in the USA was found through the Lamborghini Registry. Two new Cala images were uploaded and again some new images for the Bugatti W18 were found. September 20th, 1999 : A new page has been added to the Automobilia page, holding a small collection of Lamborghini related wall posters. A brand new drawing of a Lamborghini prototype was located, the LM003 / Borneo was to become the LM002 successor, but money trouble put this project to halt before it could reach it's full potential. A new car based on the Diablo VT platform has been presented to the public at the 1999 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Bugatti Chiron. New images were added to the Diablo image gallery, be sure to check out the image at the bottom of the page, again two new images were added to the already extensive gallery for the Diablo VT Roadster MY1999. On the Diablo SE30 gallery, one image was added, while a second was improved, on the Diablo SV gallery, two additional images were uploaded, two new images were also added to the Diablo SE30 Jota page. Another picture was put onto the Diablo VT gallery, while a new image of an actual Diablo Koenig Coupé was found. The Diablo GT page also received two new images, one showing the fabulous front wheel in detail. Again some nice Miura SV images were made available, together with an image of the very last Miura SV made during the official production period, with minor Jota modifications. A very nice image of the Marzal was located, three new images were added to the Cizeta Morodor page. September 14th, 1999 : After waiting for about 8 months now, I received a very rare edition of the 35th Anniversary Catalogue Raissonnée, limited to only 100 pieces bound in leather and numbered, I got number 33, the content is the same as the normal edition but with the added bonus of the numbered limited edition. Production plans for the Model Year 2000 from Automobili Lamborghini SpA are rather upsetting, check out their latest statement. The Diablo GT page was again updated, now including the price in Germany and the official statement from Automobili Lamborghini SpA that the GT was homologated for road use in Europe only. A new image has been added to the Diablo VT Roadster image library while two brand new pictures were added to the Diablo VT Roadster 1999 MY collection, the silver metallic Diablo VT image was improved and two new Diablo VT 1999 MY images were uploaded. A total of six new Diablo SV 1999 MY images were added too ! I've found two new factory folders for the 1999 model year Diablo SV and the full Diablo range, also finally the Diablo Roadster in 1/18th scale has arrived from Auto Art. The pages for the autorised dealers and the clubs now use a decent logo designed especially for each page. The Diablo line-up page uses a new background image and the entire Diablo range now holds the smaller thumbnail images, also all the E-mail buttons inside the Diablo range work now (the links are modified). I finally received my copy of the Lamborghini Catalogue Raissonnée 1963-1998 35th Anniversary edition, a great book, if you're looking for a very detailed Lamborghini book buy this one, it is rather expensive but this book is worth it. Also I've changed the pricing for most classic Lamborghini's based on current second hand dealer prices on these cars. Automobili Lamborghini unveiled their latest creation at the Geneva Auto show the limited edition Diablo GT.
