The Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
I guess you've seen the cover of our latest Magazine issue, so you've also seen the magnificent Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 that was prominenlty featured on it, this specific
car is registered in the United Kingdom, but it does have Left Hand Steering, so it's not really a UK specs car, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful.
Finished in the popular pearl metallic orange shade, this final evolution of the Diablo series was ordered with a custom two-tone interior, combining orange and black leather
with the original high gloss Carbon Fiber found inside the 6-Liter version.
This car was also ordered with the optional rear wing, a new design for this evolution, as it was rather square shaped compared to the earlier wings available for the Diablo,
the rear of the car sure looks a lot more aggressive with this wing installed, however the large dual, central mounted exhausts do help to give this impression too, especially
when the engine is fired up, the sound from these massive pipes is truly astonishing.
You could argue that the Diablo VT 6.0 is the more civilized version of the Diablo GT, which was a limited edition naturally, and in a way this is true, but these were actually
two totally different cars, the GT being the road-legal version of the GTR race car, while the 6-Liter was the 'normal' production model. However with a total production of
around 340 cars, this Diablo, made under the reigns of Audi AG is probalbly the best one made, and due to it's still limited numbers as it was only in production for little
over a year, makes these 6-Liter models very desirable these days, hence they still demand relatively high prices.
