'Two of a kind' ...
The two 1/18th scale models represented on this page are the latest offering from the well known AutoArt ... the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murciélago, agreed they
offered these two models for some time now, but today they are both available in the recent Lamborghini color 'Balloon White', a pearl white metallic shade.
As usual these models are very well finished, the only drawback in my opinion are the wheels, if they used the new wheels that Lamborghini mounts on these models
they would sell even more because you would have the MY 2006 editions ... however they are still worth the money.
Boasting a near flawless finish on this rather difficult color, the Gallardo is the model without the glass engine cover, the black and orange metallic made by
AutoArt feature this option. On the inside the Gallardo has the 'Sport' interior with dual color, while the Murciélago has a monocolor black interior,
very nice with the white exterior.
Conclusion :
As mentioned it would be nice if AutoArt took this opportunity to update their models to the latest modelyear, I guess this would however mean a major change in their
production cycle, so they just put the new pearl white metallic paint on the existing models ... still a nice addition to any collection, I personally have them on
display side by side, much like how they were shown by Automobili Lamborghini SpA during the recent auto shows.
