The Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster against it's competition.
Since the Diablo Roadster is based on the VT technology with four-wheel drive, there are no
real competitors to this exclusive Lamborghini, however one can actually
try to compare it to cars like the Ferrari F50
in it's barchetta form.
But also the Dodge Viper RT/10, the
Honda NSX-Targa and even the Mercedes SL600 AMG edition are in this open-top supercar league.
Other makes also have their convertible exotics, although these are very limited production car like the Belgian built Gillet Vertigo
or the Isdera Spyder and the even more special Marcos Mantula. Other production cars like the
TVR Griffith and the BMW powered Wiesmann Roadster are built in so little numbers they hardly qualify as real production cars,
but if money is no object, just buy them all !
