So, you missed the Diablo SE30 Jota limited production run, or the second hand one for sale is just way above your budget, don't panic !
Buy a 'normal' Diablo VT and ship it to Al Burtoni's V12 Engineering in California, here you could have a Jota Style engine cover installed on your Diablo, complete with internal Carbon Fibre pressure tray, full sport exhaust system and carbon fibre racing type clutch assembly. And to complete the transformation, an adjustable Diablo SV-R type rear wing could be mounted at the rear, just to get a stunning complete image of your 'standard' Diablo.
V12 Engineering could also change the early 17 inch standard wheels into 18 inch magnesium units or some other 18 inch multi-piece design, mount an Alcantara interior to replace those boring leather seats everyone has (right ?!) and if you would really insist they put in two little racing type bucket seats with full four-point seat belts.
Another option was to have your Diablo repainted in a custom scheme to look like the first Diablo Jota Americana, a combination of silver and purple metallic, a work of art performed by Micheal Santoro.
A complete ABD Jota Americana kit used the following components : a new special paint, re-upholstered interior in leather or alcantara. A custom engine cover and large rear wing, new multi-piece 18 inch wheels and tires, a complete overhaul of the engine using new throttle bodies, new filters, different electrical cabling, a new forged camshaft, modified pistons,a more 'open' full sport exhaust system and a Carbon-Fibre racing clutch.
Naturally, all this wasn't cheap, but who cares, you would end up with one of the most powerful Diablo on the block, not even the standard SE30 Jota could keep up with the ADB Jota Americana, and if you installed all this on the latest Diablo 6.0 VT model like the orange metallic one Al drives himself, you could even outrun the limited edition GT model ... how about that ?
