The Miura Reunion 2000, August 18th 2000.
During the latest national gathering of the Lamborghini club in Monterey, California, the United States,
a special side event was organized, a worldwide reunion of Lamborghini Miura's.
This event was created to celebrate the fact that the Miura existed 35 years in 2000.
They even tried to have an exact copy of the legendary Miura Jota on display, currently being built from factory
specifications in the United Kingdom, but unfortunately the car wasn't finished in time.
Another famous car was present, the Miura SVJ owned by Nicholas Cage, who bought it for nearly $500,000 at an action in
2000. But several other interesting Miura's were also displayed, some very nice looking SV's like to ones on
this page, but naturally the entire range of Miura's was present, from the early P400 and the Miura S right
up to the final evolution, the SV's.
One special Miura wasn't presented, the unique Miura Roadster, a one of a kind real Roadster built by Bertone over
30 years ago.
