When the Lamborghini Gallardo reign came to an end in late 2013, after being in production for little over a decade, the final evolution LP570-4 Squadra Corse was a limited edition model to conclude 10 years of being an icon on the supercar market … the successor had some serious work cut out for herself trying to fill the shoes of a car that managed to sell 14,022 units in total.

But it seems Automobili Lamborghini SpA managed to reach that total production with their new Huracan in a matter of five years, officially introduced back in December 2013, the Huracan number 14,022 was just completed in Sant’Agata, an EVO Coupe model finished in stunn

By 2017 the V10 line up was enlarged with the impressive Performante, a car that set lap records for Lamborghini, joined by the Performante Spyder in 2014 while the latest EVO edition was introduced this year.

Note that during the first half of 2019 a total of 4,553 cars left the factory gates on their way to customers, that’s 96% more than during the first half of 2018, and while the Huracan took 1,211 units of that number, most of them were the Performante version (that has been phased-out by now) as deliveries of the EVO only started in June.

On a side note, a total of 649 Lamborghini Aventador joined their new owners … which means the Urus is the best-seller these days with no less than 2,693 units leaving Sant’Agata to be delivered all over the world … that’s almost 3,000 Lamborghini Urus in only 6 months.
