People usually don’t buy a Lamborghini for practical reasons, nor for economical ones, instead a Raging Bull is bought for only one reason, to own the best of the best when it comes to exotic and rare super cars … on most corners in the world you don’t encounter an Aventador LP700-4 or a Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce, so these cars have become dream cars … the main item on a bedroom poster, just like the Countach did in the Eighties.

So what do you do when you just can’t seem to be able to buy a Lamborghini, let alone keep it insured and maintained over time? You get the second best thing: a limited edition bike that has been custom made by Swiss based BMC … there are however two small hurdles to overcome: first of all they will only build 20 units of this bike … and secondly it does still carry a serious price tag of € 20,000 … which isn’t that bad if you consider the original BMC Impec bike would also set you back a cool € 12,000.

So what does 20K of hard earned Euro buys these days from BMC, for one you get their top of the line Impec model, which stands for impecable in case you were wondering, but naturally the Lamborghini edition goes way beyond the ‘standard’ model. For one you get handle bars that are covered with orange suede leather at the top and black suede leather for the bottom part, both using the most amazing contrasting stitching, naturally the Di2 electronic dérailleur system from Shimano is used while the wheels are unbranded, but blend in perfectly being completely black.

The saddle gets covered in smooth black suede with a very nice, contrasting orange stripe along the lenght, together with red stitching naturally, the pin for this saddle and part of the frame below is finished in orange too … and not your ordinary orange either … this is the exact shade used for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 as it was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in 2011: Arancio Argos … most other parts of the frame are clear carbon fiber, not in a high gloss but with a very nice satin finish.

A number of BMC and Lamborghini scripts are put on various parts of the frame, and right up front we even get a Raging Bull logo … this time with ‘Automobili Lamborghini’ script above the Bull crest, a very nice touch that sets this bike apart from the cars it is related to.
