21st annual Lamborghini National Meet - the STORY

From August 18th to August 20th 2000 the Lamborghini Club USA organised the 21st Annual meeting in Monterey California, this event was held together with the Concorso Italiana, therefore not only were a large collection of Lamborghini's present, but also some very nice models from Pantera, Ferrari and other Italian made exotics, even the all new Zonda C12 was present.

Just about the entire Lamborghini model range was present, since the Miura Reunion 2000 was held at this time event, a large collection of Miura's were on display, including the very rare Miura SVJ owned by Mr Cage.

Naturally the Diablo was present too, several new Diablo VT 6.0 models were displayed, some in the yellow or orange color, but one was finished in a rather refreshing silver metallic bodywork, a color which suits this new Diablo very well.

A large collection of Diablo's were used on the Running of the Bulls drive found elsewhere on the site, but here they could be admired among several other milestones in the Italian car history, like a stunning Pantera, without the bodywork additions of the later versions, the owner of this car kept it as standard as possible.
