The Lamborghini Miura P400 S against it's competition.
The much improved 'S' version of the Miura faced some fierce competition from the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona',
although this was still a front engined car.
On the other hand both the de Tomaso Mangusta and the Iso Grifo 7 Litri were considered to be less of a
problem for the powerfull Miura S.
Some other, less well known possible rivals could be the Bizzarrini GT America, but only 10 were ever built, also
the Mercedes C111 could be considered, but only 2 were ever built, however some more units were built of the
Monteverdi HAI 450 SS, but I still wouldn't consider it a real rival to the stunning V12 mid-engined Lamborghini.
