Murciélago by BF Performance - the STORY

The time that only a very few people would modify their Lamborghini is far behind us, today several companies from all over the world offer various items to really set your Lamborghini apart from the one your neighbor owns (this is actually true in some regions you know ...).

Back in the Eighties mounting some Turbo's or extra wings was about all that happened on the Countach, the Diablo was also not heavily tuned in most cases, some Turbo's or Super Chargers appeared on the Diablo ... however later on the magnificent Affolter Diablos were totally modified into some of the most personalized Lamborghini's around ... but what about your Murciélago ?

Take a trip to Switzerland, more precisely Zug, and visit BF Performance ... they will turn your Murciélago into the closest thing to a road legal R-GT edition available to the public.

The black Murciélago seen on these pages is their demo product, but BF Performance is in the business of building customer cars ... this means that their demo car is only the beginning, they will create your personal Lamborghini for you.

And to demonstrate they are on the right way, their Lamborghini was voted 'Car of the Show' in France by Channel Six during the 2006 Paris Tuning Show and also note that 'Auto Zeitung', a German car magazine asked their readers to vote for the 'Tuning model over 50,000 Euro' ... the Murciélago by BF Performance took first place here too !

But lets take a closer look at the black car featured here, adding a front spoiler, rear wing, special side sills and a lower rear diffuser will turn any Murciélago into a very impressive car, and since all these parts are finished in Carbon Fiber, they look really nice too.

But BF Performance didn't stop here, they also offer headlight covers, an engine cover with glass louvers, a full Carbon Fiber front hood and rear cover ... all of these will totally transform the Murciélago into a really different Lamborghini.

But that's not all, a tuned car needs new wheels, preferably large and wide, so 8.5x19 inch is mounted at the front while the rear receives 13x19 inch wheels, made exclusively for BF Performance, naturally the brakes aren't forgotten on this ultra fast Lamborghini, so massive 370mm, 6 caliper sport discs are mounted, with steel braided lines. Note however that BF Performance can also mount ceramic discs on all Murciélago models, also the pre-2004 models.

At this moment the engine isn't tuned by BF Performance, but they will mount a custom made exhaust system, to have a more intimidating sound that corresponds better with the race like looks of this Lamborghini. But the best is yet to come, a totally different tailpipe in a very innovative design ... a must have for any Murciélago owner that wants something exotic on his Lamborghini.
