Asus-Lamborghini VX2 Notebook unveiled
You've probably heard about the first Lamborghini branded notebook, the Asus VX1, before, but now ASUSTek Computer Inc is presenting the next generation ... the VX2 model.
Full specs are still unknown, but this next generation notebook will be built around an Intel Core 2 Duo-Based Centrino Duo Mobile processor and running the latest
MS Windows incarnation, Vista. Further specs haven't been disclosed yet, but the look and feel of this new portable received a boost from the previous one, now using
a metallic keyboard to give you that special feel while typing, and while your wrists are nicely resting on a leather wrapped base, that actually features yellow stitching,
much like on the upholstery of a Lamborghini.
Casing on this new model is available in either an aluminum-magnesium alloy or lightweight Carbon Fiber, again available in either black or yellow finish, just like the
VX1, and the VX2 now offers a 'Glare type LCD display', although not everybody is equally happy about this feature.
Pricing on this new Lamborghini branded notebook hasn't been published yet, but expect it to be in the same, rather high, region as the earlier VX1 model, still a highly
regarded piece of equipment ...
