Pre-2008 updates to the Lamborghini Cars website :
December 24. 2007 :
This could be called the Miura update in fact as I've added no less than 206 photographs of this legendary Bull from the Sixties, and I've only added the
Miura and the Miura S models, next week I should add the Miura SV to the list ...
In the mean time the 3000th Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 has been built at Sant'Agata, another milestone in the continuing history
of the Raging Bull.
The last Picture of the Week for 2007 is naturally our Christmas card for all you Lamborghini enthusiasts, I hope you all have a very
Merry Christmas and wish you all the best for 2008 ...

Almost at the end of 2007, but our 51st Picture of the Week is a photograph of a scale model I just received this week, a stunning 1/18th
scale mode of the by now legendary Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 ...
You might already know about Edo Competition, we've featured their tuning for the Lamborghini flagship in one of our Magazine issues, but in late October they've
made a statement, the world's highest top speed in a Lamborghini, 345.7 Km/h in an LP640, and they are aiming for more with a 700 Bhp version
in the near future ...
And finally we've grouped all our efforts together and made one central point where you can find the material Lamborghini Cars is making, items that you can add to your
collection of automobilia and, with a small donation help us to maintain the website in the future, check out the new LamboSHOP ...

Our 49th Picture of the Week is an amazing looking white Lamborghini Diablo SV, complete with chrome wheels and black scripting on the side,
this specific car is really well known in the United States by the way, check it out ...
The Lamborghini Reventón went head to head with a real life fighter jet back in October, the story behind this amazing feat and some
amazing photographs are now online, more photographs have also been added to the Reventón Image gallery.
The brand new Gallardo BF GT 540 has been added to the list of tuned Lamborghini's, a very nice personalization pack from BF Performance,
but I also updated the history for the race oriented Gallardo BF GTR 540 with the latest information from BF Performance.

The Lamborghini Reventón has been selected the most beautiful car in the world by a group of professionals in Milan, and I also added
the Reventón extensive specifications online for you.

but still amazing looking ...
You've probably noticed the new color layout of the site, I've received a few reactions on the previous grey scheme, and I must also admit that the return to the
well known black background with white or gold text does look better, and is more in keeping with the official factory colors from Automobili Lamborghini SpA.

Our latest Picture of the Week features one of those by now classic Lamborghini Countach models, finished in the popular red shade
over a bright white interior, a very nice combination.
Two new event review have been added, the 10th round of the 2007 FIA GT Championship has been added, together with a large selection
of images.
Also the yearly AutoMotoItalia event in Houten has been added, again with several images.

Been away for a week, but now I'm back with a new, rather large update, this Week's Picture features no less than two stunning Lamborghini
Gallardo Spyder, while I've also added some great shots of the Gallardo Coupé along the way.
I also added a total of 30 new photographs of the amazing Murciélago LP640 Roadster, both from the 2007 IAA in Frankfurt and from a
local dealer.

The current Picture of the Week features one of the most beautiful Bulls on the market today, the magnificent Gallardo Spyder,
finished in dark grey metallic and riding on massive 20-inch wheels.
Last weekend I joined a group of Lamborghini owners that would take a nice road trip into some of the more scenic regions of the Netherlands and Germany, no less
than 18 cars came together to have a great day on the road while enjoying the better things in life, a review and a total of 32 photographs have been uploaded on
the After summer Lamborghini Tourrally.
As usual the cover car from Lamborghin Cars, the Magazine is also selected as our Premium SELECTION
for September 2007, together with a nice selection of new photographs.

which now also includes excerpts from the actual articles inside the Magazine.

The last week some very persistent rumor surfaced on the forums, talk about a new Super Bull based on the LP640 chassis that could be
unveiled at the IAA in Frankfurt in two weeks was all over the internet.
This week we've selected a stunning yellow metallic Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VTR, that's right, a VTR, read all about it on our

As mentioned last week, I've attended the Total 24 Hours on Spa Francorchamps last week, I've added 32 photographs taken during this
10th round of the FIA Championship featuring two Murciélago R-GT's and three Gallardo GT3 models.

Our 31st Picture of the Week was taken during the Total 24h of Spa Francorchamps, featuring the amazing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 in
full action on the Belgian circuit ... a complete review of the 24h race will be uploaded later this week.
The latest figures for Automobili Lamborghini SpA have recently been published, sale figures rose almost 50% during the first
six months of this year, a total of 1343 Bulls left the factory doors at Sant'Agata.

It was long overdue but the Car of the Month feature is back, I renamed it into the Premium SELECTION but the idea remained,
every two months when the Magazine is published I will give more detailed information on the cover car in our Premium SELECTION. Normally the
cover car only receives a photo shoot in the Magazine, not an article, so if you would like to know more about the car you can read all about it on the

the final testing on the Monza circuit.

A somewhat smaller update compared to last week, most effort this week has gone into the Magazine's third issue which will be available on the 1st of March, but I did
manage to add some photographs to the Gallardo Spyder Image gallery and selected another Picture of the Week,
a magnificent pearl metallic yellow Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 ... the final evolution of the by now classic Diablo series.
February 19. 2007 :
Reiter Engineering and RS Line will enter two Murciélago R-GT models into the 2007 FIA GT Championship under the All Inkl.com Racing banner,
one of these cars will be driven by Peter Kox.
Tthe Diablo pages are now integrated into the new layout, and I added some new Diablo GT1 photographs, also a nice selection of images
for those rare Diablo SE Jota R models has been uploaded. I added a lot of new photographs on the
Diablo Jota Americana, a tuning package by Al Burtoni from V12 Engineering, while additional images are now available for the one of a
kind Supercharged Diablo VT Alpine Edition and the very rare Diablo Strosek Tuning.
I also updated the Diablo Koenig Specials with new information and photographs and modified the pages for the unique
Diablo S-SV, dotake a look at the one of a kind Diablo VT eXtreme.
Naturally I selected another Picture of the Week, this time a nice black Gallardo, the most successful model from Automobili Lamborghini SpA
to date with over 5000 units built.
February 12. 2007 :
Remember the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Versace edition ? Well there is even an LP640 Roadster Versace edition finished in an
amazing high gloss black bodywork.
I've worked on putting the remaining Diablo pages into the new layout to create a more global feel on the entire site, some pages were still in their original
shape from before the new design.
Naturally during this process I also added a lot of new photographs, like some rare Diablo by Gemballa images, brand new photographs for both the
Affolter GTR and the Affolter GTR Le Mans, several new images on the Affolter Evolution,
and totally new pages dedicated to the one of a kind Affolter GTR Roadster ... in total over 150 photographs have been added during
this update !
Because of the important Diablo update I selected our Picture of the Week from the Diablo range too, a rare Affolter GTR Le Mans edition.

Lamborghini Brussels hosted an amazing VIP event over the last weekend, and I got hold of an invititation, much to my surprise I encountered the first
Gallardo Nera in Belgium, naturally I took several photographs of this rare car and added them to the
Nera's Image gallery ...
At that same event I was able to photograph the stunning Murciélago LP640, one of these photographs has been selected as our Picture of the Week,

drag ... finished in dark grey this truly is an amazing Lamborghini.

Our new Car of the Month is probably one of the most important Countach models in history, the light blue finished Walter Wolf LP5000 S,
actually built on the LP400 but featuring large wheels, spoilers and an experimental 5-Liter engine ... this very car would eventually convince the factory to start
building the Countach LP400 S evolution, on special request first, but later totally replacing the classic LP400 ...
Naturally I also selected a Scale car of the Month, and this time it's a large 1/18 scale model of the fabulous Lamborghini Gallardo

Also a nice Press Release reached us, Automobili Lamborghini SpA has qualified the requirements to obtain the ISO 9100:2000 Quality certification, the

I skipped a week because of a small vacation, but now I'm back with a massive update.
A ton of new Countach images have been added ... in total I now have over 50 LP 400 images online, together with about
105 LP 400 S images.
Also 123 LP500 S images are available as of now, a massive 198 Quattrovalvole images and no less than
112 Countach 25th Anniversary images.
The PDF selection has been updated with the complete specifications sheets for all the Countach models listed.

This could be called the Countach update ... all the Lamborghini Countach production models were updated, the Countach prototype, the by now
classic Countach LP400, the first wide model, the Countach LP400 S and it's successor the
Countach LP500 S. Naturally the amazing Countach Quattrovalvole and the limited edition
25th Anniversary edition have not been forgotten.
A nice addition is a seperate page for the Countach tuned in Japan models, since they tend to create some very personal customs over
there I decided to put them on special page.
A grand total of 363 photographs featuring the legendary Countach have been added representing a massive 116 Mb of files, and that's only counting the jpg-files ...
Our latest Picture of the Week has also been selected ... a Countach ! Would you have expected another Lamborghini model after
updating all those production Countach pages ?

with some weird page breaks ? Probably yes ! But the answer is now available on our website ... as of now most of the pages found on this website will become available as a
PDF document, with a nice layout that you can print without any problems on your printer. Note that the collection of PDF's will still
increase in the future, but I have 20 files ready for you to download right now.

white metallic car, we now have over 100 photographs of this car online, and it's not even available to the public yet.

I've been to Italia a Zandvoort last Sunday, a very hot event, literally ... it was an extremely sunny day with high temperatures, however
the review is online including 63 Photographs on this great event.
Two new photo's have been added to the Gallardo GT by ItalCarDesign image gallery, and I've added the
Gallardo by BF Performance to the line-up, including several new images, all in large 1600 x 1200 resolution.
Hamann Motorsport GmbH also tuned a Gallardo Spyder, including the amazing gullwing doors, several photographs have been added.
The 'beginning of the month' additions have been uploaded, a new Car of the Month has been selected, a great looking Urraco model, we also
made a new selection from our Scale car collection to bring you the latest offering from AutoArt in their 1/18th scale line up for
Lamborghini. And to finish these additions a new Picture of the week is now available for download ...

I continued to work on the Diablo line-up pages, some are still in their old layout, so work had to be done to get them into the new look and feel of the website,
during this rework I also replaced some of the Diablo GT2 2002 images with higher resolution ones.
Some nice images of tuned Lamborghini's have been added, the Gallardo Spyder Miami and the
Gallardo GT Pack.
June 19. 2006 :
I uploaded a totally rewritten review on the Lamborghini Supercar Celebration event, from an actual owner's side of things, and
subsequently added a few brand new images.
Naturally I went to the SpaItalia 2006 event ... to see Lamborghini's, there were a little less cars than I expected, but I still
managed to put three galleries online with a total of 45 photographs, all in large 1600 x 1200 resolution naturally.
Naturally our new Picture of the Week is online too, a stunning white Lamborghini Countach featuring a white leather interior, a combination
that was very popular in those days.
June 12. 2006 :
I went to the Viva Italia 2006 event held on the famous TT Circuit in Assen in The Netherlands, I've posted a first impression
last week but now I have replaced the images with massive 1600x1200 versions and added several more in the image galleries
for this event, there are now a total of 65 images available online.
Naturally a new Picture of the Week has been selected, for this week an impressive looking orange metallic Murciélago was picked.
A quick note :
Since I've started the Lamborghini Cars website back in the late Nineties, computer screens came a long way from the early 800x600 displays, for which I decided at that
time to show most images at 750x563 to be able to see the entire image without scrolling left or right.
But today most screens are capable of a much higher resolution so I am going to take the Lamborghini Cars website to the next level ... all new images will be uploaded
in 1600x1200 resolution from now on.
I know that some very rare images will not be available in this high resolution, but I will strive to offer you a resolution of at least 1024x768 for any image
added the site from this day on.
Please do understand that larger images also mean a slightly longer download time, but I'm sure that the added resolution will more than make up for this mildly
longer download ... the thumbnails will however remain in their current 150x113 resolution to keep the current download speed of the image galleries ...

I visited the Viva Italia 2006 event on the famous TT Circuit in Assen, The Netherlands, a first impression and a small selection
of the photographs I've taken are online now, more images will be added later this week.
I've updated the Diablo Roadster Momo Edition pages, and added some new images to image gallery
on this very rare car.
Some might not remember this, but the late Malcolm Forbes owned several Lamborghini's, all finished in 'Money Green', the last one he ordered was a special
Diablo custom made to his specifications.
If you are looking for a truly rare, factory built Lamborghini, you might want to take a look at a Diablo VT-R ... and no, this isn't
a race version of the Diablo VT.

on this full blooded race car.

We finally selected a new Car of the Month and a new Scale car of the month for April, but we
also added a totally new concept : each week we will present you with a new, exclussive and not yet published image of a Lamborghini, called our
Picture of the week. This Picture of the week will be available in four different resolutions so you can use it as
your computer wallpaper, and what's even better, we also offer it with a calendar on it ...
We also worked hard to get the Diablo SV-R model up to date, there are no less than 123 images
online now for this rather rare race edition of the Diablo SV.
March 20. 2006 :
We have updated the extensive Dealer list to include the authorized dealers that have been added during the last year, several new
dealers are now available all over the world.
A large number of brand new Gallardo Spyder images have been added over several image galleries.
And Reiter Engineering had some great news about the first tests of their 2006 edition of the Gallardo GT3, read all about it.
We've also added the Diablo Millennium Roadster into the new design of the side, with a total of 52 images now online over four
image galleries.
To continue the Diablo pages 'modernization', we also brought the Special Edition Diablo 6.0 pages up to specs, and added a grand total
of 80 images over five image galleries.
Please note that all new images now show a 'previous image' and a 'next image' button at the right hand top of the high resolution image, they allow you
to navigate the images without returning to the image thumbnails each time ...
Also new on the site is a dedicated '404 - Page not found' page, this allows you to return to the main menu in case a certain page you were looking for no longer
exists.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our webhost is no longer able to support the Lamborghini Cars website, he was able to offer us a dedicated server for nearly a
year now, but this will end mid-November, so we are looking for a decent solution to this problem. We've been looking at shared hosting, but the amount
of bandwidth our site uses (about 150 Gb/month) makes this option difficult to find, a dedicated server would be the best option, but this is a rather
expensive option too. If you are able to help us out, or have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us as soon as possible.
To at least start funding for a dedicated server we've prepared a very nice collection of 2006 calendars, please take a look at the six different
versions we can offer you.
Please help us to keep the Lamborghini Cars website online, it's been a great resource for thousands of people over the years, and would be very painful for us if we had
to abandon this great reference due to funding problems.
We've added a very nice car to the for sale section ... a magnificent Diablo GT2 Customer racecar.

At the 2005 edition of the IAA at Frankfurt the long awaited Gallardo Spyder was finally presented to the public, at the same time
the Murciélago MY 2006 specifications became known, as did those for the Gallardo MY 2006.
With all the attention going to the Gallardo Spyder you might forget about the Gallardo SE model, only 250 will ever be made, and a stunning
white one was also shown at Frankfurt.
Automobili Lamborghini SpA actually showed a fully driveable Concept S at the Concorso Italiano in the United States, perhaps a
taste of thing yet to come ?

The Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 image galleries have been extended with no less than 20 new galleries, totalling 300 new images
featuring this final Diablo evolution.
We've also added an important number of photographs of the Murciélago Roadster, especially a highly tuned one, really nice.

We've probably all seen the add in the DuPont Registry about the new Limited Edition Momo Gallardo, only 12 will be made worldwide,
and it's available exclusively at Lamborghini Orange County ... a very special Lamborghini Gallardo ...
We are further implementing the new layout on the 'older' pages, this time the Diablo GT image galleries have been updated, spread over
ten galleries a total of 150 photograph's of this rare Diablo model are shown bringing the 'grand total' of Diablo images inside the new layout to nearly one thousand.
We also added some new photographs of the Murciélago Le Mans edition by Affolter to the image galleries and a large selection
of images featuring the Gallardo Le Mans by Affolter.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren't able to update the site for a while, sorry about that, but now things are getting back to normal, so we will again be
putting new material online on more regular intervals.
There have been several interesting newflashes added the site, please feel free to take a closer look at these.
The most important news is naturally the brand new Gallardo SE, Special Edition that was introduced by Automobili
Lamborghini SpA, more images will be available soon, but there are already some official factory photo's online now.
We also posted a newsflash with more details on a new Murciélago evolution that is nearly finished, boasting a massive 650 bhp,
while some great photographs of the new Gallardo Spider were taken during testing at the Nurnburgring.
We also added the review on a few Dutch events, like the Golden Whip horse races and the 2005 edition of
Pirelli's Italia Zandvoort that gathered a large selection of Lamborghini's.
Naturally our Car of the Month, selection needed updating too, so we've selected a very nice Countach for July, while our
Scale car of the Month is a big, 1/18th scale model of one of Walter Wolf's customized Countach models.

It has been a busy month, and we've been able to visit some great events, please take a look at the review on SpaItalia 2005, and
the extensive image gallery for this event.
Another important event was Viva Italia, held on the famous TT circuit in Assen, The Netherlands. Last year this event was unfortunately
not organized, but 2005 marked the return of this very nice event, both the review and the image gallery are surely worth a visit.
Naturally a new month also means a new Car of the Month, for June we've selected a very special Lamborghini Murciélago, while our
Scale car of the Month is a big, 1/18th scale model of the first production Lamborghini, the 350 GT.

We've added no less than 105 new Diablo images over 7 additional galleries, also a total of 66 new Diablo VT
images have been added to 5 extra galleries. Continuing our work on the Diablo related pages, we've uploaded 83 new photographs of the Diablo SE30
limited edition model on six galleries.
A total of eight galleries have been added to the Diablo SV image section, holding no less than 114 new photographs, while another
75 new photographs were added to five additional Diablo VT Roadster image galleries.

A new update with a massive amount of material, first we've replaced the Lamborghini Cars wallpaper selection with our totally new layout,
and we've added several new wallpapers ... make sure to check them out ...
Secondly, we added nine additional image galleries on the Lamborghini Murciélago, a total of 527 photographs of the Lamborghini flagship are now online.
We also selected a new Car of the Month and a Scale Car of the Month and documented both Lamborghini's with

March 21. 2005 :
We're continuing to add material to the Lamborghini Cars website, we now have the entire collection of Car of the Month for 2005 online,
this means January, February and March.
And the same has been uploaded for the Scale car of the Month selection, so also three different scale cars are listed to get to the
March selection.
March 19. 2005 :
Finally a new update to the Lamborghini Cars website ... well not exactly an update, more like a totally new website.
Therefore the previous, rather long, list of updates has been taken offline and we're starting with a new one as of today. The entire site has been competely
redesigned into a more complete package, no more different layouts and buttons are used. By incorporating some new elements in HTLM we're now able to present
a completely new look and feel.
Note however that implementing a totally new website takes time, and we didn't want you to wait any longer to get a taste of the new Lamborghini Cars website,
so at present not all our material is online yet, but more importantly ... this is what we do have online right now :
334 photographs covering Lamborghini related events.
189 Gallardo photographs
408 Murcielago photographs
269 Diablo photographs
And we are daily adding material to the website, so keep an eye on this space for the latest and greatest on Lamborghini ...
By the way, when you select an item from any list that is not yet encoded into the new layout, you will still be presented with the previous
version of our website, just to keep all the material available while we are working hard to update everything ... many thanks for your patience.
