A member of HuracanTalk had his personal Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 at the dealership for some minor work when he talked to the salesperson about possibly upgrading to the very impressive Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce … the answer came as a surprise … the Superveloce is sold out!

That’s right … you are reading that correctly … apparently the official dealerships all over the world received a limited allocation of the Aventador Superveloce to sell to their customers, they could only sell a few cars each … and we’ve been told they have ran out already.

That would mean the entire production run of 600 units of the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce has been sold, only 10 weeks after the car was first unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show … now we don’t have confirmation from all the dealers out there, but the numerous ones we heard about all had the same answer … we can’t order any new Superveloce anymore.

This would be the first time ever a Lamborghini sells 600 units of their new car in this short amount of time, they must have hit the mark with this new Superveloce … after the Geneva show some people complained about the fact the Superveloce wasn’t radical enough … but it sure looks like this didn’t keep people from ordering one in the end, selling 600 cars in a matter of weeks is a great performance.

It might be some dealers ordered cars ahead of the rush for their inventory, when these are delivered they might demand a serious premium over the original MSRP, who knows at what price the first Superveloce will be sold in the end, probably $50,000 to $100,000 over the original price … many people might be left out at this moment and are willing to spend a nice premium to get hold of this special Aventador in the end.

There is still the idea of the Aventador Superveloce Roadster being up next, but we did catch the rumor Lamborghini would make the Roadster edition of their Superveloce even more limited, so no additional 600 SV Roadster … I wonder if those will sell as quickly as the closed version.
