At this moment the only thing known about the Gallardo successor is that it will be a revolution compared to the current model, still with a V10 engine and most likely up to 600 bhp … but when it comes down to styling we are still completely in the dark.

And then Ondrej Jirec comes around, as a project in his final year at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California he created the Lamborghini Perdigón to compete with cars like the Bugatti Veyron at the very top end of the super exotic car market.

Note that Jirec kept the legacy alive, Perdigón is in fact the name of a fighting bull, and if you look at the styling of this concept it is clear this student paid attention to earlier models from the Raging Bull company, we can clearly recognize Reventon styling in this hyper car, but also cues from the Sesto Elemento and even the Urus seats look like the ones Jirec installed.

The F22 Raptor fighter jet comes back to mind when you see the angular panels, but the biggest giveaway is that central mounted air intake in front of the windshield … either functional or just for looks, it does draw attention to this low slung super car in a heartbeat.

Inside the high tech style continues with a steering wheel holding dials at the top showing the selected gear from the e-Gear transmission while lcd displays are used for the necessary information, a few touch sensitive buttons are present to activate the required lights and functions while air vents are releasing cool air into the cockpit … which could get a bit hot with all that glass on the top, which I’m sure can be dark tinted at the touch of a button.

No matter from what angle you look at the Lamborghini Perdigón Concept the impression remains … this is a high tech, very impressive design study … which unfortunately will never be built, but you can’t blame Jirec from dreaming right?
