In that case you’ll have to turn your attention to Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, where just about all your dreams can become a reality on four wheels. Ad Personam allows a customer to select from an extremely wide range of paints for his car, solid paint, metallic paints, pearlescent and naturally the famous matt finish … and just in case you are not able to find the exact shade you like … Ad Personam allows you to have your very own paint mixed exclusively for your car, creating a truly one-off … if you really insist you can even name that shade yourself and have it available for other customers.
Want to have a splash of color on the wheels, no problem with Ad Personam … custom brake calipers are just another item to select when you go for the Ad Personam approach and the Lamborghini patented Forged Composite can be added just about everywhere on the outside and inside of your custom order … you can even have the Forged Composite or clear carbon fiber tinted in a shade to match the rest of the car.
During the ‘Ultimate Personalization Program’ event at Lamborghini Hong Kong the Huracán on display was finished in a custom made matt purple paint created on demand for the owner, on the inside a stunning Lambo Vintage leather was used … a warm brown shade of fine semi-aniline leather with a very soft and natural feeling.
Ad Personam requests are being made on a very regular basis, depending on the geographic location of the owner the demand is different … 42% of Ad Personam requests originate from the United States while the Middle East customers usually request bright shades to make their Bull stand out, on the other hand UK owners go for a more sober look … different, but not over the top, customers in the Far East go for a more detailed demand … they get a custom Lamborghini made specifically for them down to the smallest detail.
Ad Personam doesn’t come cheap however, most of the options available in the program are hand made for one specific car only … still a lot of cars leave the factory gates in Sant’Agata with one or more Ad Personam options … on the Aventador more than half of them receive a custom option (58% in fact) while already 30% of all Huracán built come with Ad Personam requests … keep in mind you are looking at a premium of €1,000 to €100,000 over the base MSRP.
