The Revuelto validated the hybrid approach so convincingly that the pure-EV path became expendable.
Lamborghini placed the 1001-horsepower Revuelto hybrid and the all-electric Lanzador concept side by side at the inaugural GIMS Qatar in October 2023, framing them as the twin pillars of its electrified future.
The Lanzador arrived in Doha as a declaration that Lamborghini's fourth model line would be fully electric, a 2+2 Ultra GT with a claimed output of 1341 horsepower and a production timeline initially targeting 2028.
Lamborghini reportedly cancelled the Lanzador in late 2025 after concluding that customer demand for electric supercars was too weak, with Stephan Winkelmann publicly stating that current EVs struggle to deliver the emotional experience the brand's buyers expect.
