Lamborghini's Super Trofeo World Finals Earned a Rare Sustainability Certification

The 2023 championship finale at Vallelunga became one of the few manufacturer-backed racing events to achieve ISO 20121 recognition.

TÜV Italia validated the event's emissions and waste reduction targets and awarded ISO 20121 recognition, confirming it met environmental, social, and economic sustainability criteria.

Lamborghini's sustainability measures spanned the entire event footprint, from catering sourced through local vendors to a meal recovery program that donated more than 500 meals to Rome's San Giovanni Battista parish.

Hospitality operations under the certification scope

Catering relied on 100% recycled or certified paper and bio-compostable cutlery, with over 40% of products sourced from local vendors involved in sustainable initiatives.

Electric paddock transport at Vallelunga

Squadra Corse deployed 15 electric golf cars and eight electric scooters so drivers and team members could move around the circuit without combustion-powered transport.
