Lamborghini's Largest Junior Class: 45 Drivers, 20 Nationalities, One Goal

Squadra Corse split its 2023 intake between 26 Super Trofeo Junior candidates and 19 GT3 Juniors, spanning three continental racing series.

Lamborghini Squadra Corse selected 45 drivers for its 2023 Young Driver Programs, with ages as young as 16, feeding two parallel tracks that both lead toward factory-backed GT3 competition.

Super Trofeo: the controlled proving ground before GT3

Program Supervisor Raffaele Giammaria evaluated candidates across an entire season on criteria that went well beyond single-lap pace, including consistency, technical feedback quality, and professionalism on and off the circuit.

Factory backing earned, not given

Squadra Corse built a repeatable pipeline from regional one-make racing to factory driver status, and with the transition from the Huracán to the Temerario approaching, the drivers selected in 2023 stand to be among the first to develop Lamborghini's next generation of GT3 machinery.
