If you take a closer look at the photos of this car you might notice the front and rear bumpers don’t look factory original nor Liberty Walk units … in fact these are special Aventador LP720-4 units, you know, the very limited edition V12 model created in Sant’Agata to celebrate their 50th Anniversary … in total only 100 LP720-4 have been built (and 100 LP720-4 Roadster in fact) and turning one of these rare Bulls into a Liberty Walk wide body version might have been just too far-fetched.

So in the end SR Auto Group took a regular Aventador LP700-4 finished in intimidating black and installed the front and rear bumper from the LP720-4 model onto her, after that the massive work to install the wide body Liberty Walk kit went ahead … note that these type of kits aren’t meant to be mounted by beginners, it takes a lot of skill and time to put it all together.

This ‘Walk of Liberty’ Aventador features wheel arch extensions over all four wheels, with that typical rivet style mounting method that has become a trademark for Liberty Walk over the years, add the special Liberty Walk side sill and their massive GT Rear wing and you end up with a car that looks like she just escaped from the track onto the open road … ready to stretch her legs.

And to make the package even more appealing SR Auto Group fitted PUR LX19 wheel on her with a deep, polished lip combined with a matte silver center piece … 9×20 inch up front and 13×21 inch at the rear … you have to fill up those wide wheel arches right?

But they had even more elaborate plans with this Raging Bull … the Project 700 went into a winter mode with a Thule ski box floating above the engine cover of the massive 6.5 Liter V12 Lamborghini, only two photo where published with the grey ski box on the car, which was now rolling on original glossy black Iperione wheels but already showed a PUR Aero rear wing and rear lower diffuser … clearly an intermediate stage.

At that time the Lamborghini was also covered in an absolutely amazing looking matte black vinyl wrap after which she went back into the workshop to be finished completely.

In the end the Project 700 Aventador by SR Auto Group received magnificent PUR 4OUR wheels finished in their Modern Black shade, do note that standard size wheels have been fitted, up front we see 9.5×19 inch units while the rear received 12x20inch ones wearing special Pirelli Sotto Zero rubber in 255/35/19 and 335/30/20 respectively … note that these are in fact Italian made winter tires, perfect for this specific Aventador.

The yellow brake calipers behind these PUR wheels are factory standard, and are in fact the only touch of color remaining on this Nero Nemesis look alike Aventador, as mentioned earlier this Bull came from the factory in a glossy black finish, the matte black dress she is wearing now is a ‘Satin Black Exterior Vinyl’ … which has been applied to the Thule ski box too, the box shows a glossy black Lamborghini script by the way. To make sure the Thule ski box remains firmly fixed on the Lamborghini SR Auto Group used a Thule roof rack attachment and a custom made ‘SR Executive’ rear attachment stand.

I’m sure the Thule ski box on this Project 700 Aventador is the eye catching feature on this Lamborghini, but let’s not forget the beautiful PUR Aero package that has been installed, complete with front lip, side skirts, rear wing, rear deck and lower rear diffuser … all finished in clear carbon fiber which contrasts nicely with the matte black finish on the rest of the bodywork.

Now this Project 700 Wintermode might not be the first Lamborghini Aventador with a ski box installed (we published the LB Bape earlier) but she sure looks very nice in the matte black dress with the PUR Aero kit and PUR Wheels.

SR Auto Group based in Canada was able to obtain one of the rare DMC Aventador Spezial Version kits to be installed onto an Arancio Argos finished V12 Lamborghini. In this case the entire set has been installed, including the massive front bumper with those typical SV style vertical fins, the side sills are present together with the lower diffuser at the rear … and the Spezial Version rear fascia in combination with the beautiful high riding rear wing.

All DMC Spezial Version parts are finished in carbon fiber, and usually these show a nice glossy finish … SR Auto Group managed to surprise us with a ‘Dry Carbon Fiber’ look … a satin matte top coat that blends in perfectly with the matte black finish in the impressive ADV.1 wheels.

These wheels are the classic five spoke 5.1 SL model, 9×20 inch up front and 12.5×21 inch at the back, it has to be said these wheels fit the Aventador wheel arches like a glove … looks like they were meant to be installed on an Aventador in the first place, covering a set of silver finished brake calipers these matte black rims are just right.

This orange Wild Bull not only looks good … by installing an IPE (Innotech Performance Exhaust) system specifically developed for the Lamborghini Aventador the soundtrack took a turn for the best … the Bull emit a thundering howl now … looks and sound match completely.

Earlier this year LB Performance showed their brand new tuning package for the more recent Lamborghini Aventador at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show … the car was again finished in a stunning brushed aluminum look wrap and received a new front bumper, side skirts, lower rear diffuser and a magnificent rear wing … the LB Performance Aventador looked amazing without being over the top.

Canadian based SR Auto Group now brings the first Lamborghini Aventador LB-Performance outside of Japan, and their choice to go with a combination of bright orange metallic, matte black and clear carbon fiber worked out perfectly, add those amazing PUR Wheels and you end up with an absolutely stupendously nice looking Raging Bull … different, but still recognizable.

Mounting a kit like this LB Performance unit isn’t as easy as it looks, an Aventador is still somewhat a hand built car, so every car might have a few mm of difference when it comes to body parts, hence installing a totally new front bumper from LB Performance with a three piece carbon fiber splitter takes some careful measuring … and re-measuring … and some more measuring to make sure it all fits together without big seams … the end result should look like it might have been done by Lamborghini themselves after all.

The side skirts are fixed underneath the original ones, finished in clear carbon fiber and showing a nice ‘canard’ in front of the rear wheels these LB Performance units are one of the best looking I’ve ever seen, they would look great on just about any Lamborghini Aventador.

Going round to the back the work involved in installing the lower diffuser is mindboggling … you have to add several vertical fins to the original Lamborghini diffuser, which involves removing the entire rear section from the Aventador, including taillights, bumper, mid section and everything. After that you have to make sure the vertical fins are positioned exactly right to accommodate the extra horizontal diffuser section … the end result is awesome, but just imagine the hours it took to get there.

And the best is yet to come … take a look at that amazing rear wing, SR Auto calls it a 3D GT wing, and I guess it wouldn’t look too out of place of an actual GT race car with those thin struts and adjustable angle … I guess the original Aventador rear wing has been disconnected so it doesn’t rise up at speed anymore, that would rather be useless with this new, large rear wing installed … finished in clear carbon fiber naturally.

SR Auto Group didn’t leave the original four tip exhaust on this Arancio Argos Aventador, instead we notice an Innotech Performance Exhaust with two massive oval exhaust tips … looks good and I’m sure it sounds even better … made from T304 stainless steel it comes with a remote control to command the ‘mode’ of the valves: open, closed and auto … in auto mode the rpm of the engine and the position of the gas pedal is taken into account to adjust valve movement inside the exhaust automatically … this offers a really dramatic increase in exhaust sound.

You have to admit the new Dione wheels from Lamborghini do look very nice on the Aventador, however this orange car arrived on glossy black Iperione wheels … which SR Auto Group replaced with very nice PUR Wheels, the beautiful 4our Depth units finished in matte black with a grey outer rim … a perfect look for this very special Lamborghini Aventador with 255/30 ZR 20 P-Zero Nero up front.

Now that deliveries are arriving on a steady base all over the world various third party tuners are showing their options to the world, and SR Auto Group is one of the lucky companies that got their hand on a brand new Lamborghini Aventador … to fit new wheels onto it.

And these aren’t the least of them, the PUR wheels mounted on this white Aventador LP700 have their lips finished in Rose Gold while the five double spokes have a high gloss black finish that complements the Bianco exterior very nicely.

Another option on this Aventador are the yellow brake calipers … somehow I think orange would look even better combined with this shade of gold on the lips, but that’s a matter of personal taste, and you have to admit that SR Auto Group created a very nice look on the Lamborghini flagship.

The icing on the cake in these photos must be that Reventon in the background, one of only 20 made finished in the trademark mat grey shade. Some sources state the Reventon was repainted in mat black and now rides on a set of custom wheels too, but in these shots it still looks standard to me.

The Aventador on these shots is part of the Checkmate series by SR Auto Group in their ‘Project Supremacy’ styling line up … whatever they call it, I call it special … I guess you love it or you hate it, but keep in mind there is a market for this kind of tuning on high end, super exotic cars like the Aventador.
