November 21 was an important day at Yokohama, Lamborghini not only held their Lamborghini Day 2018 Japan at that location, but it also marked the official Asia Pacific premiere of the new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, the lap record holder for production cars a the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in Germany … a Milestone model in the Aventador lineup.

Over 200 customers gathered at the Yokohama Super Factory film studio, bringing their Lamborghini to be shown on display while they admired the Ad Personam possibilities inside, or checked out the Collezione Automobili Lamborghini collection while the Squadra Corse department was present with partners like Pirelli and Roger Dubuis.

<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="wp-image-2750 size-full" src="https://www.
Also note a display was set up with all five of the special Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster models for the Japanese market, the ‘Aventador S Roadster 50th Anniversary Japan’ series consists of five unique cars inspired by the five natural elements of Japanese culture: water, earth, fire, wind, and sky, in the case of the “water” version, the blue tends to black.

Japan is still a very important market for Automobili Lamborghini SpA, with no less than 9 dealers, the latest opened this year in Sendai, the introduction of the Super SUV will surely expand the customer base in the area even further.

In the evening a parade of over 200 Lamborghinis went through central Yokohama, including Minato Mirai, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park. Cars like the sensual Miura, the legendary Countach, and the intimidating LM002 took part alongside more recent models from the Aventador and the Huracan lineup.

An auction was held to raise funds for the victims of the natural disasters in Osaka, Hokkaido and other regions in Japan would see all proceedings to be donated to the Red Cross in Japan.

In a matter of days we will be seeing the next limited edition Lamborghini being unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show, a car that will celebrate the 100th birthday of the late Ferruccio Lamborghini who founded Automobili Lamborghini SpA back in 1963 … but at the same Geneva show back in 2016 another celebration model was unveiled.

The Lamborghini Veneno LP750-4 was intended for the 50th anniversary of the company, only three would be available to the public, priced at €3,000,000 each before taxes … they sold out even before the actual car was unveiled to the general public … in the end four units of the Veneno were built, one was kept by the factory and three were delivered to customers … all in a different livery.

In fact the Veneno would be sold in the shades of the Italian tricolore … green, white and red. The Veneno Verde was sold to Kris Singh who actively drives this extremely rare and valuable car, the Veneno Rosso was sold to Antoine Dominic who owns Lamborghini Long Island … so what happened to the Veneno Bianca?

Rumor had it Veneno 02, the Bianca one, was originally sold to a customer in the Middle East, but it was told to be available for sale shortly after or even before he took delivery of it … the white Lamborghini Veneno disappeared from view … it was supposed to be available for sale on the private market, the Veneno Bianca was never officially listed for sale … until now, rumor has it the car was initially delivered to Hong Kong, from there it went to China before arriving in Japan now.

Japanese ‘International Prestige car dealer’, Reckless Co Ltd in Fukuoka City lists the 2013 Lamborghini Veneno 02, or the Bianca, for sale at nearly €10,000,000. With only 840 km on the counter it seems this specific Veneno hasn’t been driven at all in the last few years … if this very rare Raging Bull will actually find a new owner at that price will probably never be disclosed, but it is safe to say the Veneno was a very sound investment in the end.

In Japan the name Aimgain GT has been seen on some of the most impressively tuned Nissan R35 GTR, Toyota 86 GT and Lexus models … usually with wide fenders and very low air ride suspension kits … but recently they joined LB Performance in their effort to modify the current Lamborghini flagship model, the Aventador.

While LB Performance both offers a standard aerodynamic kit containing a front bumper, side sills, rear diffuser and rear wing, they also have the famous Kato-san wide fender version with the riveted wheel arch extensions installed … Aimgain didn’t go for a set of wide wheel arches, but the rest of the Aimgain GT Aventador is almost as impressive as anything Kato-san has shown on the current Raging Bull V12.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

Aimgain Automotive offers the ‘Perfect Body kit’ for the Lamborghini Aventador in either FRP or in lightweight CFRP at a premium, the entire kit will set you back US$ 16,200 (or €14,900) in Fiber-reinforced plastic or about US$ 25,000 (€ 22,700) in Carbon Fiber (prices valid at the time of writing converted from Japanese Yen)

The first item in the Aimgain GT Aventador kit is a new front bumper that completely replaces the original Lamborghini unit and contains two massive air intakes and a raised horizontal fin between them, also on the sides of this front bumper, ahead of the wheels there are additional vertical intakes fitted. This bumper is available in FRP at US$ 6,000 (€ 5,500) and in CRFP at US$ 7,675 (€7,050) and can be extended with the special front splitter from Aimgain.

For $1,300 (€1,175) in FRP or $ 2,135 (€2,000) in CFRP you can add three parts to the standard Aimgain front bumper to complete the aggressive look at the front, not only will you add an additional horizontal fin to the middle of the bumper, but on either side you will have some amazing stabilization fins added … I would suggest ordering this splitter in clear carbon fiber to be honest.

No aero kit is complete without a set of side sills to lower the profile of the car even further, and naturally Aimgain has a nice set available in their catalogue, again available in FRP or CFRP for $ 2,560 (€2,350) or $ 3,850 (€3,525) respectively at today’s currency ratio.

At the rear the Aimgain GT Aventador kit comes with an equally aggressive looking lower diffuser to complete the look of this Italian beauty, the deep vertical fins of this diffuser look like they have been taken from the latest Super Trofeo race car … in FRP this part can be yours for $3,000 (€6,650) while the CFRP version is listed at $4,700 (€4,300).

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

While the front bumper, side sills and rear diffuser look very nice and intimidating you can’t deny that massive rear wing from Aimgain draws even more attention … they call it the Stealth GT Wing (nothing stealth about it if you ask me however) and it is made from 8 separate parts. Made from FRP this monster wing is listed at $7,250 (€6,650) while the much nicer looking, and lighter Carbon Fiber version costs $10,250 (€9,400) … while not everybody will like this style, I’m sure the Japanese tuning scene will love it.

With a wild looking styling kit the next step you’ll need on this Aimgain GT Aventador is a very special set of wheels … for this car they went for Savani SV65XC wheels, 9×20 inch up front with an ET value of 12 and massive 13×20 ET45 at the rear, Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires in 225/30 ZR20 and 355/25 ZR21 are wrapped around these rims while a Bold World air suspension kit specifically created for Aimgain will make sure you can ride as low as possible, for an additional $ 10,250 (€9,400) that is.

Now if you’ve never been a fan of Kato-san’s creations from LB Performance chances are you will not really like this new Aimgain GT Aventador either, but judging from the large number of LB Works Aventador we’ve been seeing lately, both in Japan and all over the world, I guess there is a large enough market for these wild aerodynamic kits anyway … so why not have the choice now between LB Performance and Aimgain.

While Automobili Lamborghini SpA had their new Diablo on their stand during the 1991 Geneva Auto Show a tuner from Japan, Art & Tech, unveiled something really different in Switzerland … the Sogna, intended to become a limited edition production model, the Art & Tech Sogna boasted some very round styling and was in fact using a Countach chassis … more specifically the unit from a 25th Anniversary edition.

So the Art & Tech Sogna came with a V12 engine and a 455bhp power output driving the wide 15inch tall rear wheels taken from the Countach 25th Anniversary in fact, while the chassis and drivetrain also came from the legendary Countach model, keeping the five speed gearbox and rear wheel drive, just about everything else was redesigned by Ryoji Yamazaki, a Japanese designer and owner of Art & Tech.

At the age of 13 Ryoji Yamazaki already dreamed about a super car, at age 41 he turned his dream into a reality by building the Sogna, which coincidently means dream in Italian. Ryoji Yamazaki bought a Countach and mounted a totally different body made from aluminium, he also installed an interior finished in light grey leather into this legendary exotic. The dials on the dashboard pod were taken from the Lamborghini Countach too by the way.

Unveiled at the 1991 Geneva Auto Show the Art & Tech Sogna was intended to become a limited edition production model, priced at $1,600,000 back in 1991 the Sogna didn’t find a lot of interested buyers … in the end only one, fully functional Sogna was built, but a non-driving prototype also exists … so there are two Art & Tech Sogna in the world today.

Rumor has it the fully functional, V12 powered Sogna was built a few years later, for the 1994 Essen Motor Show, this actual car was offered for sale in late 2013 on JamesEdition by the Enmann Corporation from Osaki-shi in Japan … asking price €2,300,000 (or $3,300,000 at that time) … today this one of a kind V12 powered Sogna is still listed for sale in Japan, but no price is published anymore, the car that was left without an engine is currently on display in a French museum.

At the time the Sogna was quoted to be able to reach a top speed of 201 mhp, but once the fully functional car was tested on the track it managed to reach 186 mph (299 km/h), still a very impressive number back in the Nineties … the one and only drivable Sogna from 1994 accumulated 1,118 Miles over the years.

The Lamborghini Aventador has been in production for over four years now, both in Coupé and in Roadster form, and over 4,000 units have left the factory gates in Sant’Agata already, so it is safe to say the tuning scene has ‘adopted’ the current V12 flagship model with open arms, companies like DMC have been offering multiple aerodynamic packages for this amazing Raging Bull.

Japan has already seen a very impressive Aventador created by LB Performance with wide wheel arch extensions, but Rowen shows us that with some small touches you can really change the overall impression of the Lamborghini Aventador too.

Rowen Customizing innovation has released two versions of their package for the Aventador, one called the ‘Styling Kit’ that consists of parts in FRP while the second kit that is called the ‘Platinum Style kit’ is finished in FRP and clear carbon fiber … naturally the latter is a little more expensive, but in the end the prices quoted on their website are very reasonable if you ask me.

The Styling kit is listed at 1,130,000 JPY (converts to 9,500 USD) and consists of a deep front spoiler with additional side sections, an impressive side sill with additional intakes in front of the rear wheels and a stupendously beautiful lower rear diffuser with the usual vertical fins for increased stability. If you want the entire set in the carbon fiber finished from the ‘Platinum Styling kit’ you’ll have to part with 1,650,000 JPY which adds up to about 14,000 USD.

For 200,000 JPY (1,700 USD) you can get a very nice rear wing as an option (380,000 JPY or 3,200 USD in clear carbon fiber) while another 180,000 JPY (1,500 USD) will add a very nice and stylish inset for the rear air vent of the Aventador (350,000 JPY or 3,000 USD for the clear carbon fiber version) to really make the Rowen Aventador complete.

Now with an Aventador looking this great you really should do something about the sound emitting from those four factory standard exhausts … so Rowen offers a very intimidating ‘Heat Blue Titan’ premium exhaust system at 1,600,000 JPY (a hefty 13,500 USD) that will have you thundering down the road like a ferocious Bull … besides looking great with the blue anodized tips the sound is amazing too thanks to the valvatronic system and lightweight titanium construction … a movie clip with the wild roar can be found on YouTUBE.

(note USD conversion rate done at the time of writing, please check again if interested in this kit)

This highly customized Lamborghini Diablo is currently located in Japan, where it is known as the EVA 30 Special Diablo, apparently a modified model with an almost entirely new bodywork and massive five spoke RS wheels.

As far as I know this is a one of a kind car, this silver metallic one is the only one made, note how just about every part of this special Diablo has been personalized.

Let’s start with the front, a massive, very deep spoiler has been moulded together with the front fenders, hopefully there aren’t too many speed bumps in Japan. Also note the three lights mounted into this spoiler together with two air intakes next to the license plate holder.

The headlights have been replaced with very similar ones that Automobili Lamborghini SpA later used on the 1999 model, probably these were also taken from the Nissan 300ZX model, just in front of these new lights a large air intake was inserted, note on the close up photo there is no Lamborghini logo anymore.

If we take a look at the side of this Diablo there is a new intake mounted in front of the rear wheels featuring three vertical fins, but probably the most eye catching feature is the massive rear wing that’s completely integrated into the rear section of this early Diablo model.

Talking about the rear section, a Strosek style rear bumper takes the place of the original one, with a massive central opening holding the quartet of thundering exhaust pipes, while a new section has been installed between the rear light units.

To finish the exterior changes a new engine cover was designed with two very large air intakes mounted on top of it, probably to cool down the tuned V12 engine, nothing is known about this engine at this time but I guess it has been tuned to keep up with the extreme looks of the car.

This very special Japanese Diablo has probably been based on an early pre-1993 Diablo, on some of the photo’s the big dashboard cluster is visible which was used on the early Diablo model only, with the introduction of the Diablo VT this dashboard became much smaller.

Still this EVA 30 Diablo is very well worth taking a look at, not everybody was happy with the looks of the ‘normal’ Diablo, therefore tuned cars like this one or the Affolter modified ones are surely interesting, if only to show that some people will never be satisfied by a car someone else could also own, they will always try to have a ‘personal’ Diablo, at any price …

Later this car was again highly modified, and finished in yellow, now using a front that would tilt up like on the Miura, in one massive part, and using a different headlight treatment … very impressive.
