Be it engine tuning, different wheels … or a more intricate personalization like a wide-body conversion, and that is exactly what Carmstyledesign created … virtually that is, on the Instagram page it is stated: freelance designer/automotive design/vehicle concept design/independent custom spec visualizer. Try fitting that on a business card, but all kidding aside, this virtual 3D render of a wide-body aero kit for the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ does look really interesting.

This designer even changed the by now aging taillights on his render, and boy, do they look great, and while I do like the original rear wing on the Aventador SVJ, I can’t help myself by admiring this new version even more, the entire redesign is just so aggressive, and still, in style with the original car, you immediately recognize an Aventador SVJ, but you also know without a doubt she’s been heavily customized.

The deeply concave five-spoke wheels are amazing, with their spokes that run all the way onto the outer rim, you don’t want to hit a sidewalk with these ladies, while additional driving lights are incorporated into the wider front bumper, there are even vents next to the headlights now, and when looking at the typical, gloss black Y-shaped side intake, you’ll notice it seems the intake itself is in the original position, but the body panels above and below the intake are extended outward … stunning attention to detail.

I even like the small SVJ script on the lower front part of the doors, back in the days of the Murcielago SV this was an option, either a small SV script on the doors, or a larger one on the rear fender above the wheel, sadly Lamborghini only offers the large SVJ on the rear fender or no script at all … while I would prefer this smaller one on the doors, it’s still there, but subtle, very nice.

After doing a little research I found out who actually created this unique convertible … Super Modern Services based in Singapore, in fact this car already stirred up emotions when it was still black … wearing a custom made bodykit that made the front look like a Lamborghini Aventador … but that wasn’t even the most eye-catching feature of it … the paintjob was.

The exterior rear view mirrors and the front hood showed a very special finish, almost like fish scales, while a wide TriColore stripe was fitted in the middle … side skirts and a custom rear diffuser made the pre-2008 Gallardo Spyder look really different … but that just wasn’t enough for the owner … he went the extra Mile and completely transformed this V10 convertible.

Super Modern Services from Singapore went to work on this black Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, creating a bespoke kit to transform this V10 into a rolling showcase of their top of the line work … wide wheels were installed (showing a Wald logo) and work began on creating the custom made wide body parts.

The already custom front bumper was even further modified, different side vents with additional fins and the original ‘canards’ on the side were removed and wider front fenders were perfectly ‘incorporated’ into the bumper while the side sills were replaced by wider units running into extremely wide rear wheel arches and a massive side air intake, note the front of the side sills show a vertical fin while the front fenders are actually so wide they don’t touch the doors anymore but feature an air vent … and another vertical fin, running down this time.

The rear wheel arches were made very wide and show a lot of lines, streaks and vents … one might state the design is a bit cluttered, but most of the lines actually do run into a molded in rear wing and the rear bumper. Around the back the entire rear section was highly modified too, the later 2009 model taillights were mounted in a rear fascia that shows Aventador influences, if you look closely at the rear you will notice the Lamborghini script is actually flanked by two special mounts … looking at the width of these mounts I can only imagine Super Modern Services is planning on a massive rear wing to be added soon.

To be honest the red and black paint does look rather good on this car, it emphasizes the very special design of the aerodynamic kit … and I for one prefer it to the full black livery the car had before … the rear bumper and lower diffuser is entirely finished in glossy black, and it holds a center mounted exhaust tip … which looks to be a fake, just for show. Note this is a pre-2008 Gallardo Spyder … these had only one exhaust pipe left and right.

Today this red and black Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder by Super Modern Services shows dual exhaust tips on either side … but only one of them is an actual exhaust, the second one is just for show … in the end this really is an impressive … show car.

You have to admit the amount of work, and costs that went into creating this one of a kind Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder can only be admired … if you like the result … or hate it … is a personal, subjective opinion … you can’t deny it is very special, and that is just what the owner was trying to achieve with this total customization.

The very unique, riveted wheel arch extensions make this ‘Liberty Walk LB-R Limited Works 20 Murciélago’ as it is officially called, look more like an old school race car instead of a high performance exotic … add the very, very concave rear wheels, deep front spoiler and massive rear wing in Super Veloce look and this Murciélago becomes one of the most impressive looking Raging Bull ever seen.

The first production number of this LB-R Limited Works 20 received another rather special touch … a brushed aluminum look wrap that drew a lot of attention during the 2012 SEMA show in the United States where the official unveil of this car was done … and when it came to preparing the next evolution in the LB Performance offerings they went for a similar wrap … on an Aventador this time.

At the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show LB Performance showed their tuning package for the current Lamborghini V12 flagship, the Aventador LP700-4. Again a high rear wing, special side skirts, a deep front spoiler and custom wheels combined with a ‘bagged suspension’ make this Aventador by LB Performance look like an exotic low rider.

So how do you create something even more impressive after showing a widebody Murciélago and a low riding Aventador … easy: combine the two and release an Aventador LB-R Limited Works with a riveted wide body kit in addition to the already impressive aerodynamic kit LB Performance has on the shelve for the LP700-4.

I don’t know if LB Performance is even considering this kind of tuning for the Lamborghini Aventador, but just in case they would like to get a preview on how it looks I’ve created it for everybody to enjoy … check out the photo with this article on how I would shape the wide wheel arches and rivet them onto the original bodywork.

The front wheel arches run into an air vent in front of the doors, just like on a race car while they are held onto the original fenders with rivets, while additional sections are installed on the sides of the front bumper so they connect with the new wheel arches. At the rear a similar treatment is installed, very wide fenders bolted onto the original rear side sections, with separate body panels next to the large side air intakes to make sure the entire wheel arch is extra wide, this also requires the side skirts to get wider fins just ahead of the rear wheels while the front fins are widened too, naturally the wheels are offset further to fill the new wheel arches completely.

The rear wing is the same as on the regular kit for the LB Performance Aventador, but you could go for a Veneno style unit with a vertical central fin … that would be really special.

I’m sure there is a market for this kind of radical tuning … it will not appeal to everybody out there, but that’s exactly what Lamborghini and LB Performance are all about … making something really special for the select few.
