Automobili Lamborghini presents the Urus Graphite Capsule, creating distinctive new opportunities for expression in color and trim on the LamborghiniSuper SUV.

The four new exterior matt colors are on trend yet subtle, in white Bianco Monocerus, black Nero Noctis, and grey Grigio Nimbus and Grigio Keres. The lower parts of the car around the front, rear and side sills are all finished in the matt body color. Four shiny accent colors are offered, orange Arancio Leonis and Arancio Dryope, yellow Giallo Taurus and green Verde Scandal, picking out the distinctive lines of the Urus on the front splitter, door inserts and rear spoiler and making a bold statement. The 23” Taigete rims, dedicated to the Graphite Capsule, also sport the accent colorwhile on the rear, the exhaust features a new, dedicated black chrome finish. The Urus Graphite Capsule elevates the potential for customization to a higher level with more than 16 different color combinations to delight even the most demanding customers

The interior highlights the elegant and stylish persona of the Urus Graphite Capsule, introducing dark, anodized aluminium trim on the dashboard and door panels, with new matt-finish carbon fiber inserts. The exterior accent colors are carried over into the Graphite Capsule Urus’ interior, enriching the upholstery with the contrast color featuring in the central tunnel leather trim, seat bolster inserts, Q-citura stitching and the embroidered Lamborghini logo on the headrests.

The ventilated Alcantara seats are an exclusive option only available on the Urus Graphite Capsule and the recently launched Pearl Capsule.

The Urus Graphite Capsule gives us four new, matt colors … Bianco Monocerus, Nero Noctis, Grigio Nimbus, and Grigio Keres. Also, note the Graphite Capsule edition comes with the lower part of the body painted in the same color as the rest of the body, but this edition adds a contrasting color to the body, either in Arancio Leonis, Arancio Drype, Giallo Taurus, or Verde Scandal.

The same story on the massive, 23-inch Taigete wheels bespoke for the Graphite Capsule edition, the wheels show the same contrast color as the front spoiler, side blade, and rear wing, while the exhausts come in the black chrome finish.

And the bespoke details continue on the interior, with ventilated Alcantara seats only available on the Graphite Capsule and Pearl Capsule editions, but in this case, there are contrasting leather parts on the central console and seat bolster inserts in the same color as te outside contrast shade. That same shade is used to the Q-Citura stitching too as well as for the stunning Lamborghini logo on the headrest.

The dashboard and the door panels come in a dark, anodized aluminum trim and matt-finished carbon fiber inserts, making the interior of these Lamborghini Urus look even more exclusive for the MY 2021 in Europe for €186,134 and at $218,009 for the US market, excluding taxes.

There is also the limited edition PD-Edition kit for the Gallardo, only 50 of these aerodynamic kits will be built, and they totally transform the exterior of the V10 models built between 2003 and 2008, those are the original 5.0 versions (both coupé and spyder) before the LP560-4 took over with the modified bumpers, headlights, and taillights.

The Prior Design Edition aerodynamic kit comes with a new front bumper (€ 3,490) that completely replaces the original unit and shows Veneno inspired styling for the large air intakes, a set of side sill fins (€990) with a small vertical upright behind the front wheel, side sill addons (€1,190) that look a bit like the intakes on the side of the Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce ahead of the rear wheel, while a new rear bumper (€2,900) took inspiration from the final evolution on the Gallardo LP560-4 with those typical, triangular air vents.

For the side air intakes on the Lamborghini Gallardo you can add inserts (€590) that mimic the ones seen on the V12 Aventador model, if you really want to transform the looks of your Gallardo you can add the optional front bonnet be Prior Design (€3,990) that shows the dual air vent design seen on the Veneno.

All parts in the Prior Design Edition kit are made from a Fiberglass-Duraflex mix that gives a smooth finish combined with enough flexibility while still being stable enough for high speeds, installing these parts can be fitted without modifications to keep costs down.

Prior Design offers a special exhaust made from 1.4828 (T309) stainless steel with a programmable control unit, even with remote control, however, this exhaust might not be street legal in your country, so make sure to check this first before installing it. The system controls opening and closing of exhaust valves beyond the regular exhaust system.

When it comes to wheels, Prior Design offers a series of 20-inch forged units in various designs, 9×20 up front and 10.5×20 for the rear, but the customer can also go for a different make and model naturally, add a suspension kit from Prior to lower the Gallardo to the ground.

Automobili Lamborghini presents the Aventador Miura Homage, a special edition of the current Aventador coupe that pays tribute to the Miura, the forerunner of all V12 Lamborghini super sports cars in its 50th anniversary year. Just 50 units of the car will be produced, the majority of which have already been sold, available in selected markets worldwide.

Created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio, the Aventador Miura Homage reflects the colors and specifications of original Miura models. The upper body in one color is complemented by the lower body and sill in a contrasting tone. The original Miura was produced in a plethora of color and trims, often to the particular specification of a client, with six of the most iconic solid and metallic colorways selected for the Aventador Miura Homage including Rosso Arancio Miura (solid color); Verde Scandal (solid); and Blu Tahiti (metallic)

The Aventador exterior’s homage to the Miura continues with 20″/21″ Dione rims in either matt silver or gold. A metallic Miura badge on the side and black Lamborghini logo on the rear, together with a limited edition plate positioned inside the car clearly denominates the Aventador Miura Homage.

Two internal color options are offered, in full Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with tone-on-tone stitching and carbon fiber package as standard. The Miura 50th logo is stitched into the upper part of the seats in gold or silver to reflect the car’s livery, and the ‘Lamborghini’ lettering embroidered on the leather dashboard.

The Aventador Miura Homage’s V12, 6.5 l engine produces 700 hp at 8,250 rpm and maximum torque of 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, the Aventador Miura Homage has a top speed of 350 Km/h (217 mph).

The Aventador Miura Homage will be shown as part of Automobili Lamborghini’s celebrations for the Miura’s 50th anniversary at events during 2016, and the first time at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK from 23 to 26 June.

As the year ends, we’d like to share a special project with you. DMC’s Middle East representative recently finished a stunning LP610, put on film by photo artist Hexham Alsaigh.

One of the character giving elements of this kit is surely the wing spoiler. The leading wing for LP610, that can be adjusted to 3 angle settings: Choose City Cruising, GT Track day or Fun Mode. Each one was individually wind tunnel and CFD tested. The spoiler comes with a 10 page PDF document full of physical data, technical specs and wind flow analysis.

If that would not be enough, the wing also comes with a base deck under it, which is a stronger version of the original part that each LP610 has. This way, owners don’t need to drill holes, and the product install can be done in under 30 minutes. It has been tested and certified by the German TUV, assuring road safety and quality.

The side skirts that add downforce, the rear diffuser that supports road stability are all taken from Stage1 as well, but it’s the front lip that really makes this new package stand out. Made from the same dry carbon fiber as all other components, DMC now has gone back to the drawing board: They came up with a stunning, full front lip spoiler with added Side Flaps that remind many of us of the aggressive LP720 Anniversario look.

The forged wheels come in a  20″/21″ setup, and are the widest sets in the market so far. The front has got a technical set up of 20×8,5J wile the rear then showcases specs of 21x12J. Enthusiasts may foresee that DMC will be using a 245/30r20 / 325/25r21 tyre combination but a softer P-Zero application is possible as well.

As usual, clients can choose from an unlimited array of interior options, DMC will customise the LP610 with rare leathers (Ostrich, Stingray) and Carbon Fiber, matching any of the exclusive clientele’s desires. The engine optimisation program (LP630) fit well to the new package as well, making it overall an exciting re-appearance for 2015.

The windshield pillars, roof, shoulder intakes and engine cover (with the usually optional glass louvers as standard on this Pirelli Edition) are finished in black, either matte or glossy, and come complete with a thin red line running from front to back, a nice Pirelli script is featured just behind the windshield. The same red line is also present on the black exterior rear view mirrors and on the lower part of both the front and rear air vents.

The black Alcantara upholstery continues this red shade inside, with bespoke stitching and red piping on the seats and headliner, while the seats also receive both the Lamborghini crest and the Pirelli script embroidered in contrasting red, the door panels and the sides of the seats receive leather inserts to create a more special feeling while a ‘Pirelli Serie Speciale’ plaque will be fitted to each of these Bulls that leave the assembly line.

As this is a special series the number of exterior shades has been limited by Automobili Lamborghini SpA, depending which finish you opt for the roof when you go for a matte black roof you can select from a list of glossy finished paints, being Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo, and Grigio Ater but when you prefer a glossy black roof the rest of the body will receive a satin matte finish, more specifically either Bianco Canopus, Nero Nemesis, Grigio Adamas and Grigio Titans.

The very special design touches added to the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition have been created by the Lamborghini Centro Stile in fact while the rest of the V12 has remained more or less the same, power output is still a healthy 700hp going into an all-wheel drive transmission with race inspired pushrod suspension resulting in a maximum speed of 350km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100Km/h (0-62Mph) of only 2.9 seconds.

This brand new special series can be ordered from your local dealership as of today with delivery foreseen by the summer of 2015.

And that’s not even the best part, if you really want to have some serious fun in the Lamborghini V12 flagship you can ask Oakley design to build an Aventador LP760-2 for you … yes, that is a ‘2’ designation which means rear wheel drive only and 760hp under the pedal … it would be wise to be an experienced driver to cope with all that power I guess.

Things got even better when Refined Marques teamed up with Oakley Design and created the Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 Dragon Edition, a limited edition production run of only 10 units, all numbered and built to order, the first one was actually finished in a very special chrome turquoise wrap while the Dragon Edition 2 of 10  was a more timid looking Nero Nemesis livery … initially.

As far as I could track it down this black Aventador LP760-4 Dragon Edition was seriously altered when Oakley prepared it to be delivered to the Luxury Signature Collection in Doha … not only was it wrapped in a stunning looking matte white vinyl that totally transformed the look of the car, but on the inside many details were custom made for this car only.

Normally the Aventador LP760-4 Dragon edition has a nice crest embroided on the door panels, however on this matte white car the top section of the door got covered in white leather and a ‘Luxury Signature’ appeared in black stitching to replace the dragon, a similar thing happened to the door sills, still finished in clear carbon fiber they now show ‘LP760-4 Luxury Signature’ instead of the initial ‘760-4 Dragon Edition 02/10’

While talking about the interior, take a close look at the photos and you will notice a very beautiful combination of black and white leather … this looks like a completely new upholstery in fact as the original matte black 02/10 car had a full black interior with orange stitching, I have to admit the additional white sections and the white stitching do look really good inside this now matte white Aventador.

Furthermore there are ‘Luxury Signature’ custom made headrest mounted and the door handles have been replaced with clear carbon fiber units, just like parts on the central console … this is an option available from the factory now too, but Oakley Design can also fit them to any Aventador.

On the outside the first thing that captures your eye will most likely be that amazing looking clear carbon fiber rear wing, after intensive airflow testing at the MIRA facilty in the UK this wing was set at a 15 degree angle to improve stability. The air intakes in the front bumper, behind the side windows and on the side of the LP760-4 have also been developed with the help of the Mira wind tunnel to increase cooling functionality while the extended front splitter and the new rear difuser help to increase down force and stabilty at high speed at the same time.

At the rear we can also witness part of the power increase, the exhaust system of the factory standard Aventador has been replaced with a custom made titanium exhaust system showing four round end tubes with a total weight of only 6kg, improved fume flow and reprogramming the ECU by Veizu will increase the power output of the engine by nearly 10% … from 700hp up to 760hp … do note that the Dragon Edition retain their four wheel drive, so these are LP760-4 to be exact.

One thing that has remained from the very beginning is the choice of wheels … why would you change a winning team right? Oakley Design went straight for the very best in their Aventador tuning package by installing HRE wheels, more specifically the renowned P40SC units, 9.5×19 inch up front and 13x20inch at the back in an awesome high gloss black finish. Behind these state of the art wheels we can clearly see the custom painted red brake calipers that could show the ‘Dragon Edition’ script on them instead of the usual ‘Lamborghini’, a small detail, but it counts.

Other typical touches of the Oakley Design Aventador kit is the clear carbon fiber roof and air intake covers, on this car the air vents in front of the windshield also receive the carbon fiber treatment while only one exterior rear view mirror is showing a carbon fiber touch … the driver side mirror actually boasts the Italian TriColore flag, another interesting detail that only appeared on this Aventador at a later stage.

The absolutely amazing photos in this article have been made by Malek Fayoumi on location in Doha … and they show the intriguing design of this Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 by Oakley Design quite clearly, however one thing is a bit uncertain … is this still a Dragon Edition 02/10 or has it been turned into a Luxury Signature Edition 01/01 by all the custom work executed on this one, similar to the special LP760-4 for Nasser 01/01 finished in bright green with real gold flakes in the top coat … that was also a one-off.

Whichever is the case on this matte white Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 … it looks absolutely amazing and I’m sure it drives even better, so who cares what the exact designation on it is in the end …

Naturally no details have been released yet but taking into account the earlier anniversary editions from Lamborghini it is safe to state we’ll be getting a special Aventador model to celebrate ‘100 years of innovation in only 50 years’ as Mr Winkelmann puts it. Most likely we’ll be seeing an Aventador in a special 50th Anniversary shade (30th Anniversary lavender on the Diablo and Verde Artemis on the Murciélago remember) … but think about this: wouldn’t it be nice to have a full carbon fiber body on an Aventador Edizione Cinquanta?

Just in case you are seeing things this way too we’ve put together a little virtual mockup of how an Aventador might look wearing a clear carbon fiber designer suit and rolling on special center lock wheels … just to add a touch of color we’ve put an orange stripe on the doors with a small 50th Anniversary logo … and the intakes in the front bumper get a touch of Arancio Argos too … just to keep it in style with the latest Gallardo Edizione Tecnica you know.

Even with no official details available it is always nice to dream right … and to spark our visions Lamborghini just released a nice teaser movie about their 50th Anniversary:
