Lamborghini has recently introduced its eagerly awaited Huracan successor, the Temerario, a hybrid supercar that merges the brand’s iconic design and high-performance standards with an emphasis on sustainability. The Temerario made its debut at the prestigious 2024 Monterey Car Week in California, where Lamborghini’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, highlighted the vehicle’s groundbreaking features, including enhanced usability and comfort, and reaffirmed the company’s dedication to electrification.
The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario marks a significant shift in the supercar experience, prioritizing practicality and everyday functionality without compromising on the brand’s renowned aggressive styling and performance. Its interior offers notable improvements in comfort, technology, and space, making it versatile enough for both daily commutes and thrilling high-speed drives. This evolution in Lamborghini’s design philosophy reflects a broader commitment to innovation and a focus on creating a user-friendly driving experience.
2025 Lamborghini Temerario Interior Highlights
1. Increased Interior Space
One of the most notable enhancements in the Temerario is the increased interior space. The vehicle offers an additional 46 mm (about 1.81 inches) of legroom compared to the Huracán, significantly benefiting taller drivers.
The improvement made to the legroom of the Temerario is made possible by the new aluminum spaceframe chassis, which also boosts headroom by 34 mm. The Space frame chassis allowed a double-bubble roof design (consisting of two raised sections or “bubbles” on the roof, which provide extra headroom for occupants) to further improve headroom, accommodating individuals up to 2 meters (6 feet 5 inches) tall, in comparison the Huracán could hardly fit passengers up to 1.90 meters (6 feet 3 inches). According to Lamborghini, the design ensures that even the tallest drivers can comfortably complete their laps on a racetrack, even when wearing a helmet
“Offering customers the greatest possible comfort was one of the first objectives we set ourselves” – PaoloRacchetti, Director of Model Line Temerario
Understanding the Spaceframe Chassis of the Lamborghini Temerario
What is a Spaceframe Chassis?
A spaceframe chassis is a type of structural framework used in vehicle construction. It is characterized by its use of a network of interconnected tubes or beams, forming a rigid structure that supports the vehicle’s body and various components. The primary advantages of a spaceframe are its strength-to-weight ratio and its ability to provide excellent rigidity and safety while minimizing weight.
Innovations in the Temerario’s Spaceframe
The Temerario’s chassis is built from advanced aluminum alloys and features high-strength hydroformed extrusions and hollow castings with thin closed sections. This design reduces the component count by over 50% and cuts welds by more than 80% compared to the Huracán, streamlining manufacturing. The result is a lightweight, durable frame with over 20% increased torsional stiffness, enhancing both safety and driving dynamics.
2. Temerario’s Storage Solutions Not Even Close to the Huracán!
The Temerario offers storage options with 112 liters of space in the front trunk/frunk, which can accommodate up to two suitcases for a weekend trip. However, the Huracán surpasses this with an impressive 150 liters of boot space. While you won’t fit your golf clubs in Temerario’s frunk, a couple of soft weekend bags will fit comfortably.
To offset the smaller front storage, the Temerario includes a parcel shelf behind the rear seats, which makes it easy to stow soft bags for weekend getaways. Despite these improvements, the Temerario is slightly less practical for longer trips compared to the Huracán.
We believe that the smaller boot space is largely due to the two electric motors located on the front axle. These motors occupy space that otherwise could have been used for a bigger frunk, which is why Lamborghini couldn’t fit a deeper storage compartment in the Temerario.
3. Improved Ergonomic Design
In addition to spaciousness, the Temerario boasts improved ergonomics. The seats are designed for optimal comfort and support, ensuring that drivers can enjoy extended drives without fatigue.
Comfortable Sports seats: The new sports seats, which are electrically adjustable and offer enhanced comfort, come standard in the Temerario.
For those seeking a sportier feel, optional carbon fiber double-shell sports seats are also available, providing an ergonomic fit that envelops the occupants. These seats are offered in a variety of colors and stitching patterns, with no other Lamborghini seat offering as many customization options. The 18-way adjustable comfort seat is both heated and ventilated, ensuring a luxurious experience.
Easy Ingress and Outgress: The lower seats and the sill design in the Temerario facilitate easier entry and exit from the vehicle, improving overall accessibility compared to the Huracán.
4. New Steering Wheel Design
The steering wheel design may look similar to the Revuelto but it has a few exceptional features which make it more accessible and easy to use. All the new controls are readily available and easily accessible directly on the steering wheel.
- Towards the top of the steering wheel, there are controls for selecting different driving modes, including EV settings and various toggles. The Temerario offers a range of driving modes that can be selected through the steering wheel controls
Lamborghini Temerario Drive Modes
The Lamborghini Temerario offers a range of driving modes that cater to various driving conditions and preferences:
- Citta (City): Optimized for urban driving, this mode focuses on comfort and efficiency, making it ideal for navigating city streets.
- Strada (Road): A balanced mode designed for everyday driving, Strada offers a blend of performance and comfort, ensuring a smooth ride.
- Sport: This mode enhances performance and agility, making it perfect for spirited driving. It allows for a more dynamic driving experience while maintaining control.
- Corsa (Track): Designed for maximum performance and handling, Corsa mode is ideal for track days, providing the most aggressive settings for an exhilarating driving experience.
- Drift Mode: A new feature that allows for controlled slides, Drift Mode utilizes the front axle’s torque vectoring to assist drivers in achieving a controlled drift. This mode adds an extra layer of excitement to the driving experience, with different drift levels available based on the driver’s skill level.
Lamborghini Temerario Infotainment and Driver’s Display
The Lamborghini Temerario features a new 8.4-inch center console display that allows the driver and passenger to personalize their digital experience, drawing inspiration from smartphone interfaces. The center screen, similar in design to the one found in the Revuelto supercar, incorporates dedicated graphics that complement the Temerario’s distinctive hexagonal styling cues.
The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster displays vital information for the driver, while the front passenger has a separate 9.1-inch screen to monitor vehicle functions. The display graphics dynamically change according to the selected driving mode, further enhancing the “pilot interaction” experience.
The air vents on top of the dashboard appear to be inspired by those in the Revuelto, and the 8.4-inch center console display also seems to draw from the Revuelto’s interior design. For reference, we’ve included an image of the Revuelto’s interior.
last but not least the vehicle also comes equipped with a range of standard features, including wireless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a premium Sonus Faber audio system.
An exceptional optional feature is the Lamborghini Vision Unit (LAVU), which incorporates three strategically placed cameras. One camera focuses on the road ahead, another monitors the passengers, and the third is positioned behind the driver’s shoulder.
LAVU provides access to performance data from 150 racing circuits and includes tools for evaluating and improving driving techniques. Additionally, it features a “memories recorder” capable of capturing up to two minutes of off-track moments, and a dashcam function that records up to one minute of incident footage.
High-Quality Materials Inside the Cabin
High-quality materials, such as carbon fiber, leather, and Corsatex by Dinamica suede, are used throughout the interior to create a refined ambiance.
Many interior components, including the center console, air vents, and door panels, can be customized in carbon fiber. Classic Lamborghini elements, like the aviation-inspired Start/Stop button and the red “line-up” indicator on the steering wheel, reinforce Temerario’s extreme sportiness.
