We have seen some amazing cars owned by freestyle skier Jon Olsson before, like the Lamborghini Gallardo that was fitted with DMC aerodynamic parts and the even more impressive Lamborghini Murciélago he owned before … but his latest Raging Bull is the ‘Monster Huracan’ as he calls it.
We have seen an image of this 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 when Jon took delivery and had all the bodypanels removed, initially he intended to build a totally over the top widebody Huracan, but later he changed his mind and went for insane performance instead.
In the end the body of the Huracan hasn’t been modified, but the changes to the engine are what make this car the ‘Monster’ according to Jon Olsson. He started out with a VF Engineering supercharger, but had Stertman Motorsport modify it completely … when fitting the VF800 unit ‘as is’ the Huracan V10 engine would make 805hp with 610lb/ft of torque … but after Stertman Motorsport spent many hours to improve the supercharger the final output in Jon Olsson’s Huracan is probably a lot higher.
The new Winter Transporter could complete the sprint from 100km/h to 200km/h in 5.3 seconds, and that was before the final adjustments were made … compare that to the 5.0 seconds time from the Bugatti Veyron and you know this Huracan is fast … very fast.
Add the impressive looking Akrapovic exhaust system and you have a sound that matches the performance of this V10 Bull, the carbon fiber Eventuri air intakes not only look amazing, but also add a little more power to the engine.
A lowering kit from K&W took care of bringing the Lamborghini Huracan down to the street while keeping the suspension geometry intact as not to influence the road holding capabilities of this Raging Bull while carbon ceramic disk brakes might be great for most people, in the cold conditions Jon Olsson plans to use this car he went for steel units from Girodiscs.
We all know most of Jon Olsson cars have one thing in common … the sleek skibox on the roof, and this Huracan is no different, in fact the carbon fiber skibox from 56Nord is still a prototype at this time, with the custom made mounting struts from Select Cars this box will stay in place at speeds over 250 Km/h.
A final trademark of Jon Olsson on his special cars is the custom wrap, applied by Wrapzone in a matter of days, it really makes the Lamborghini Huracan stand out even more, add the red Michelin lettering on the tires and the result is one of the most impressive standard body Huracan in the world.
