The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has been the talk of the town for many months before it was finally unveiled during a few private events on various key locations all over the world, in fact the official public unveil only happened a few days ago during an extremely impressive event in Miami, the United States.
Even during the LA Auto Show the Aventador Roadster was a ‘behind the curtain’ model, the official worldwide premiere will be at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show next month … but if you are waiting to put your order in until then you might be in trouble.
Right now the order book for the beautiful Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is filling up so quickly the delivery times are raising again to 19 months. The bottom line is this : if you put in your order with an official dealer today … you will only see your very own Aventador Roadster arriving as late as mid-2014, so if you want to enjoy open top motoring at its best in a V12 Lamborghini flagship … it will only happen during the summer of 2014.
Naturally there are ‘stock’ units that will become available earlier, but those will demand a serious premium over the normal MSRP, and you most likely will not be able to get the exact shade you like or the options you would prefer … but you could be sitting behind the wheel of your Roadster in advance of the normal delivery time.
Stepping into a dealership and putting a down payment on the Aventador Roadster would mean signing an order form for at least €300,000 in Europe or $440,000 in the United States, and that’s excluding taxes mind you. If you want to jump the waiting queue it will be a costly option … from online ads by non-official dealers we found out it will take between €10,000 and €50,000 to get an early delivery on an Aventador Roadster … some of these ‘contracts’ even haven’t set the options, you if you are quick you can still get your very special, personal Roadster … for a bit over list price.
