A Lamborghini was involved in a late-week rollover crash near Anaheim’s 91 Freeway, resulting in the arrest of a 25-year-old man suspected of driving under the influence, according to the police.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20th. Shivam Patel, a resident of Yorba Linda, was behind the wheel as he traveled along Santa Ana Canyon Road, east of Lakeview Avenue. It was at this point that he lost control of the vehicle, as reported by Anaheim Sgt. Jon McClintock.
Tragically, the crash resulted in the ejection and subsequent death of a male passenger in his forties, whose identity remained undisclosed as of Monday. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, Patel was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter, as confirmed by McClintock.
