But that doesn’t take away from the fact the Lamborghini Diablo is an absolutely stunning car, both in performance and in sound, and while the Diablo was already a lot more comfortable compared to a Countach, the later V12 flagships went above and beyond in that department, the Murciélago was a big step ahead while the current Aventador can’t really be compared to a Miura or a Countach.

Over the span of the production period for the Diablo, from 1990 to 2001, less than 3,000 units were built, and while originally introduced as a 2WD version, it didn’t take Lamborghini too long to introduce the VT, the four-wheel-drive, version, later joined by the Diablo VT Roadster, the Diablo SV for Sport Veloce, the lightweight edition, and let’s not forget the stunning Diablo SE30 that celebrated the 30th Anniversary in 1993, a car that could even be ordered in ‘JOTA’ spec. Add the Diablo GT, the street version of the GT-R race car, and the final VT 6.0 model and you end up with an amazing plethora of different versions, most of which can be found in the 10-minute video below from NM2255:

Remember the Felicity Ace? Yep, that was the massive car carrier ship that had more than 4,000 cars on board, among them about 1,900 high-end Audi, 1,100 Porsche, 189 Bentley … and 85 Lamborghini, and while most of the latter were Urus and Huracán models, among these Raging Bulls were 15 units of the Aventador Ultimae, and being limited to 600 units, losing 15 of them is an issue, so Automobili Lamborghini SpA has decided to start Linea Aventador again and rebuild the 15 units of the Ultimae that were lost when the Felicity Ace went down, so their owners will still receive the car they ordered, albeit with a little delay.

I’m sure Automobili Lamborghini SpA has kept track of which chassis numbers were on board of the Felicity Ace, so my guess is they will use these same identification numbers on the new 15 units that will be built over the coming weeks if that’s allowed by law that is, if not, they will just issue additional chassis numbers, remember they all came with a plaque xxx di 350 or xxx di 250 anyway, and while some consider the Aventador Ultimae as a kind of ‘less aggressive’ looking SVJ, this is still an amazing car nonetheless.

The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae is the most powerful NA V12 ever, with 780 hp, no hybrid add-on, she’s powerful and comes at an MSRP of about $500,000, so not cheap, but she does rub shoulders with million-dollar hypercars if my opinion if you take a closer look at the Ultimae you’ll notice the front bumper from the Aventador S, the side sills and rear fascia from the SVJ, but no fixed rear wing, which is probably one of the reasons for Lamborghini to go with the S front bumper, without rear wing there is no need for a front bumper with ALA, the active aerodynamic system from Lamborghini used on the SVJ.

The Grigio Acheso as used on the press release Coupe version did come with about $60,000 worth of options, and it is that car Lamborghini of North America delivered to Matt Farah for a test drive, she only covered about 50 miles before he got behind the wheel to see of this 10-year old Aventador is still relevant in 2022, but there is one title this specific Lamborghini will never loose, and that’s the one being the last ever NA V12 ICE model to be built in Sant’Agata for the road, the successor will be a V12 hybrid, so the Aventador Ultimae is the ultimate supercar made in Sant’Agata, and that’s all the reason why they sold out so quickly.

The original, Bianco Siderale show car for the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 has been seen leaving the factory grounds for a road test, the black ‘Countach’ license plate still in place, but with a ‘test drive’ license plate superimposed on top of it, in the end just 112 of these New Countach will be made, my guess is this one is the 00 di 112 that will be kept by the factory, the pre-production test mule so to speak.

Take a look at the video below, and make sure to pay attention to the rear of the car at the 0:45 mark:

Did you notice the flush rear wing going up at 0:45? Exactly, we’ve mentioned it before, this car does come with a rear wing, only it doesn’t rise until a certain speed is reached, just as Lamborghini had on the Aventador LP700-4 and the Aventador S, the rear wing sits flush with the body standing still but can be raised in three different positions depending on speed, or by pressing a button on the interior so you can clean underneath it when detailing the car.

One day a Lamborghini Espada turns up, the owner of this four-seater Raging Bulls asks to keep his car for storage in one of the barns and pays rent … for a few months until he disappears, never to be heard of again, never returning to pick up his car … the car remained parked up in the Lake District, near Kendal in the UK … for more than 30 years!

This white Lamborghini Espada, chassis 9200, was hiding out of sight for over 3 decades, initially covered up, but later exposed to bird droppings and everything else running, flying or crawling around in this barn, but in her corner, there wasn’t too much light, and especially no UV rays from the sun, so both the paint and the blue leather interior have survived rather well.

The video below clearly shows the registration being ‘5 MBP’, which corresponds with the Lamborghini Registry listing for chassis 9200, a late September 1973 RHD model with engine number 41150 build on Bertone’s body #X750X0900X arrived at Lamborghini London on September 7 1973 only to be delivered to Wingate four days later, making this a Series III Espada.

Being one of only 456 units of the Lamborghini Espada Series III built between 1972 and 1978, rumor has it only 130 Espada were ever built in RHD version like this barn find, in total a little over 1,200 Espada left the factory gates at Sant’Agata, but this model hasn’t been the most sought after over the years, still having that massive V12 engine at the front, maintenance shouldn’t be taken lightheartedly on these high-performance highway cruisers, so over the years many have gone in disrepair never to be resurrected anymore, some sources state only about 350 Lamborghini Espada are still in driving shape.

This specific Bianco over Blu 1973 Lamborghini Espada Series III RHD will go to auction in the near future, but for now enjoy the discovery of a real Lamborghini barn find in the UK in the movie below:

Between 1974 and 1978 a total of 150 of these narrow body, Countach LP400 Periscopo were built, in 1978 the Countach S, or LP400 S was introduced, after Walter Wolf, a Canadian millionaire with a famous F1 team had two Countach LP400 modified to use wide Pirelli tires on massive Bravo style wheels … Lamborghini saw the potential of such an extreme interpretation of the original Countach that they made it a production model … intended to be built alongside the LP400, but after customers saw the more aggressive LP400 S, orders for the ‘non-S’ dried up and Ferruccio halted production.
