The first thought that came to mind when I saw the photos on the latest SR Auto Group realization was ‘John Player Special’ … a tobacco and cigarette manufacturer located in the United Kingdom, but that’s not the reason I remember JPS … back in the days they sponsored a real life Formula One racing team, and their cars were all finished in a combination of mainly black with gold accents … and that is just what we are looking at now.
A high gloss black Lamborghini Aventador rolling on massive gold finished PUR Wheels … the latest creation from SR Auto Group in Canada, these wheels are the PUR 2WO RS units, large 20 inch tall units up front with 255/30 ZR 20 (92Y) P-Zero Nero surrounds … and even bigger 13×21 inch at the back wearing the same designer tires in stupendously wide 355/25 ZR 21 (107Y) format … if you have to ask how much these Pirelli alone would set you back … about 2,000 Euro for a set of four in fact.
I must admit I already liked some of the earlier PUR Wheels installed on various Lamborghini models, especially their Rose Gold finished ones, but this shade of gold on a glossy black Aventador takes the idea to a totally different level … this is absolutely beautiful … and an attention grabber like no other.
