Together with Viva Italia the yearly Italia a Zandvoort event in the Netherlands is one of the most popular Italian car events in the region, for the 2015 edition the Italia a Zandvoort organization managed to offer some amazing Formula One demo runs with none other than Max Verstappen driving the car from Scuderia Toro Rosso … during the day a unique moment happened when both Max and Jos Verstappen were behind the wheel of an F1 car on the track at Zandvoort.

Naturally I’m more interested in the Raging Bulls that were present during this event, a rather large group of Lamborghini came to Zandvoort to be admired by the countless visitors that appeared, it became a very, very busy day.

One of the most valuable Lamborghini at the Lamborghini Club Nederland stand was also the oldest there … a stunning looking 350GT that once belonged to famous actor Nicolas Cage, without a doubt the most impressive Bull was the bright red LM002 … the massive V12 powered off road vehicle from the Eighties … seeing her thundering down the track in Zandvoort was an amazing sight.

Some of the most classic Bulls made in Sant’Agata were there to be admired in Zandvoort, from the rare aforementioned 350GT over the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago to the current Aventador … the latter in Roadster form. But also the V10 powered Lamborghini from the early Gallardo model over the lightweight Superleggera and LP570-4 Superleggera right up to the brand new orange Huracan LP610-4 that was on the Club stand.

A bright green Gallardo Spyder got accompanied by a ‘Baby blue’ Gallardo Spyder while a classic white Gallardo LP560-4 came all the way from Germany … and brought some impressive friends along the way … how about a MY1999 Diablo SV, on her own a very rare car already, but add that monstrous clear carbon fiber SVR style rear wing and this 15 year old lady still draws a crowd.

The official Lamborghini distributor for the Netherlands was also present with two brand new cars … triple black in both cases, one being the Huracan LP610-4 while the second one was an Aventador LP700-4 Roadster … the latter with a stunning Alcantara interior with optional Q-Citura stitching … list price a cool €500,000 …

Two customers also parked their car on this stand, one being a Rosso Mars Huracan with a few custom applied black sections … but the second black Aventador Roadster that arrived showed a really nice option … high gloss, clear carbon fiber roof panels … a €4,000 option in fact, and it looks great.

Italia a Zandvoort is not only a static display show … at regular intervals these cars take a stint on the famous track … despite the slight rain the 2015 event was a massive success once again.
