Automobili Lamborghini SpA’s Squadra Corsa department just unveiled the Urus ST-X, their SUV counterpart for the Super Trofeo race car, the Urus ST-X will compete in her own category starting in Misano in 2020 … and while the ST-X looks close to the original Urus on the outside, the one we are looking at here is a far cry from the factory standard model that is built in Sant’Agata.

The overall roofline and engine cover seems to be standard, but just take a second look at those wheel arch extensions … very angular and extremely wide, this Urus created virtually by Basil Masri looks like it ran into the Veneno at the factory, with that very low front splitter adding vertical fins and that traditional red line to the otherwise black or clear carbon fiber part.

Still up front we get to see two turbochargers being visible through the front bumper while the intercooler is fitted on the outside, even the front fenders have massive air intakes that offer a view of the wide Nitto tires.

On the side we notice a pair of very deep, black side sills with again the red line, that connect the front fender to the even wider rear fenders, once again complete with air intakes and vents covering a pair of extremely deep dish wheels and ultra-wide Nitto tires.

Naturally, a rear wing couldn’t be forgotten on this Mad Max like Lamborghini Urus, so Basil took the Veneno unit and fitted it to the rear hatch of the Urus, complete with vertical center fin holding the third brake light, the exhausts remind me of those seen on the Urus Concept by the way.

So what would a Lamborghini Urus like this be used for you might ask … racing, drifting, hill climbing … you name it, this is a virtual render, so your guess is as good as mine, but it does look totally over the top indeed.
