The LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO is Kato-san’s most extreme aero package ever for the V12 flagship from Sant’Agata, based on the Lamborghini Aventador, the LB Silhouette WORKS completely transforms the supercar into a track inspired weapon, ultra-wide, ultra-low, and with a massive rear wing, complete with a vertical fin for stability at speed.

The construction of this amazing new LB Silhouette Works Aventador has been going on for while already, this isn’t a quick bolt-on kit for sure, installing this $187,000 (for the carbon fiber version of the kit) onto your existing Lamborghini Aventador isn’t for the faint of heart, this is an intrusive kit for those that want to have something different without turning to the likes of Mansory with a price tag into the seven-figures, if you can buy an older Aventador you’ll be set for about $500,000 all said and done.

If we look closely at the white ‘GT EVO PROTOtype’ that was just completed this week, we notice not much of the original Aventador is still recognizable, the headlights and taillights seem to remain, as does the entire roof and cabin, probably for rigidity and to keep the car street-legal, but that’s about it … everything else seems to be either replaced or modified on this latest creation by LB Works.

Judging from the interior in a combination of black and white, it seems this PROTOtype is based upon an Aventador S model, but it doesn’t really matter too much as this kit can probably be fitted no any Aventador model, as long as it’s a coupe because the GT EVO kit comes with a replacement engine cover that holds a vertical fin that attaches to the rear wing, that won’t fit on the Aventador Roadster like this due to the latter having a different design for the section behind the seats.

Looking at the uprights that hold the massive rear wing, it seems you can fit the aerofoil at three different angles, to either increase or decrease downforce I guess, I can’t help but get the impression Kato-san got inspired by the one-off Lamborghini SC18 with some Veneno influences, but this GT EVO would look out of place at LeMans with this kind of styling.

Everything below the ‘waistline’ on the Lamborghini Aventador has been replaced to create the GT EVO version by LB Works, the rear fenders are completely changed into these ultra-wide, angular styled units with integrated rear wing struts and larger air intakes behind the doors, speaking of the doors, they are modified with fixed aero sections just behind the front wheels and wide, integrated side sills, they still clear the front fenders when opening, I’m sure that took some serious trial and error to get just right due to the extra width.

The front fenders are replaced with much wider units, complete with integrated air vents on the top and aerodynamic appendages that run into the fixed vertical fins on the doors, a massive Veneno-styled front bumper with large air intakes and even more vertical stabilization fins complete the look at the front. Do note the Aventador SVJ style air vents on the top of the bumper, and it wouldn’t be an LB Works kit without a new front hood with integrated vents … that’s just a must-have on this GT EVO.

This white and black LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO boasts some PROTOtype decals on the side, together with stylish 10th Anniversary stickers, so this might possibly not be counted as one of the 20 production kits LB Works will offer to customers around the world, and there is no official information yet on how many kits have been sold by now, but I guess all 20 will sell out quickly … and just imagine if someone would install this onto an Aventador Roadster anyway, without the vertical fin and engine cover, but it would still look amazing nonetheless:

And it seems the actual production version of this elaborate aerodynamic kit is very close to the virtual render published earlier, only 20 units will be available of this ultimate Aventador conversion, listed between $94,600 up to $187,000 depending on the material used for the replacement and add-on parts, as Liberty Walk offers this Silhouette EVO kit in either FRP, DRY Carbon Fiber, or a mix of both.

But this isn’t a kit for the faint-hearted, it will require some serious modifications to the base Lamborghini Aventador, which isn’t included in the above-mentioned price mind you, neither are the extremely wide offset wheels nor the necessary air-ride suspension required to get the look Kato-San intends for this final Aventador from LB-Works and while Liberty Walk doesn’t usually touch the engine or do any performance upgrades, a nice (read loud) exhaust really is necessary on this kind of car … expect a price tag over $10,000 easily for a screaming note from the V12 engine.

The photos where the car is seen on the road look like it’s just been fitted and was painted in a base code, integral, while on the inside photos we see the black parts taking shade on the car … are these two different cars, or the same car in different stages of the building process isn’t clear, from the looks of it both instances show the same Forgiato wheels, however. It does look like the car with the black sections, which might be clear carbon fiber, is an Aventador S, distinguishable from that white stripe on the dashboard that was part of the S-Style interior option.

I for one can’t wait to see the final car, all complete with all the details just like the virtual render, probably with the well-known set of decals Liberty Walk usually adds to these low-riding, ultra-wide supercars, this style isn’t appreciated by everybody, but it seems Wataru Kato and his team at Liberty Walk has no problem finding customers for their widebody conversion kits, they have been in this game for many years, and keep introducing these kits on new supercars, so there must be an active market for them.

But what if one of those 20 customers that’s willing to pay up to $187,000 for the full carbon fiber version, would opt to install it on his Lamborghini Aventador Roadster? Would that even be possible?

I guess the only problem would be the engine cover with the vertical fin, apart from that the entire EVO GT kit will most likely be able to fit the Roadster version of the current V12 model too. It looks like the vertical fin isn’t attached to the massive rear wing, so that shouldn’t be an issue just to keep the bespoke Roadster engine cover.

My guess the only problem could be at the front, installing the new front hood might cause issues with the space to store the two roof panels from the Roadster, even on their previous ‘Limited’ kit with the large vents on that front hood, there was a problem on a Roadster.

But other than that, it seems perfectly feasible to create an LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO Roadster …

A year later, at the 2014 SEMA show in the United States of America we finally was an LB-Works Aventador in the style we would expect from Kato-san … lowered to the max, extremely wide fenders with that typical LB-Works ‘rivet’ look, and a giant rear wing … the LB-Works Aventador was unveiled.

It would take Kato-san four more years to come up with something even wilder than the LB-Works Aventador, at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show they unveiled the LB-Works Lamborghini Aventador Limited Edition, with a modified design and additional intakes … but this time the $60,000 aero kit became limited. Only 20 would be available on the Japanese market, and 30 would be sold to the rest of the world … and according to YouTube member Stradman, these kits are all but sold out, as he managed to get hold of one of the final units for his Bianco Canopus Aventador Roadster Pirelli edition.

On January 19, 2021, Wataru Kato, the founder, and CEO of Liberty Walk, turned 54 … and for his birthday he unveiled the final edition of the LB Aventador. Only 20 of these kits will be made, and it’s called the LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO, in line with his latest Huracan kit that’s called the LB-Silhouette WORKS Huracan GT.

I’ve taken a look at the Liberty Walk website, where the new LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO is listed, and it’s available in either FRP, DRY Carbon Fiber, or a mix of both … from $94,600 up to $187,000 … and yes, that is without the Aventador donor vehicle, without a custom exhaust, without wheels, and without the necessary air-ride suspension, this isn’t a kit for the fainthearted I guess.

Taking a look at the parts list on the Liberty Walk it becomes obvious not much of the original Lamborghini Aventador is left after installing this kit, my guess is only the roof and the doors remain, everything else is replaced by LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO parts.

It does look like Kato-san was inspired by the 2018 Lamborghini SC18 Alston if you take a closer look at the design of this new LB Silhouette WORKS Aventador GT EVO, the vertical fins on the side of the new front bumper look similar to the ones on the SC18, also the new front hood from Liberty Walk reminds me of the SC18 one. But the most striking resemblance is the design of the front fenders, with the lower section that is fixed to the doors and opens up … just as we’ve seen on the SC18.

Even the rear fenders and the aero design in front of the rear wheels seem to be inspired by Squadra Corse’s one-off model, and how about that imposing rear wing where the vertical struts also start on the rear fenders, but the real give-away has to be that vertical fin on this GT EVO kit … that was also seen on the SC18.

But all that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I rather like the SC18, and I also admire this new kit from Liberty Walk for what it stands for … and let’s not forget, even if you add the price of a Lamborghini Aventador (let’s say you get a second hand one), you go for the mixed FRP/Carbon fiber version at $123,200, add wheels, suspension, and a new exhaust in SVJ style … you would probably end up around $400,000, that’s still a long way from the rumored $7,000,000 the factory-built SC18 cost.

Both the front and rear fenders of the original Huracan are replaced by massive, angular styles units with air vents at the rear, while the rear fenders are fitted with a large intake, much like the one seen on the Huracan GT3.

The front bumper is also new and combines the ‘fangs’ from the Aventador S with the lower ALA splitter from the Huracan Performante, while that lower splitter ends in two massive, vertical fins on either side … strangely enough, it does look good.

A new front hood with additional vents is part of the entire body kit, add the deep side sills and a massive rear diffuser and you get an overall look that belongs more on the race track than on the open road … but the best is yet to come.

Check out that extremely massive rear wing, two big uprights, and a wide, clear carbon fiber rear wing … drawn towards the roofline by a large vertical fin as seen on the SC18 one-off from Lamborghini, and in case you were wondering, the engine cover is also replaced by Liberty Walk.

As usual the body kit is available in FRP only (for $39,420) or a combination of FRP and dry carbon fiber (for $49,680), but the best option would be a full carbon fiber kit (at $59,940) consisting of a front bumper, front diffuser, rear bumper, rear diffuser, rear wing, wide fenders, and the new front hood … you still have to add the $9,500 AirRex air suspension and a nice set of wheels … but then you’ll end up with probably the most impressive Huracan in the neighborhood.

And just to make you really dream about this LB-Silhouette Works Huracan GT … I created a Spyder version of it, just for fun.

Naturally creating a low riding masterpiece like this isn’t easy and takes time … however time is something the people at Optimus Performance didn’t have as they wanted to get this Raging Bull ready for the 2015 SEMA show that opens its doors for the public next week … this specific black Bull will be shown at the DUB Liberty Walk booth no less, so perfection would only be just good enough.

As a basis Optimus Performance started with a pre-2008 Lamborghini Gallardo, the original 5 Liter 500 hp V10 model, by installing their very own, custom fabricated race exhaust system they already gained 25whp … dyno proven by the way … the impressive flames are a nice added touch.

The kit installed by Optimus Performance is in fact the very first entire Liberty Walk kit for the Lamborghini Gallardo, complete with lower rear diffuser wings, in the world, and naturally it requires the original body to be almost completely stripped from the car … on its own already an intimidating feat I’m sure, but the best was yet to come … cutting the fenders to allow room for those massive Rotiform wheels with magnificent Toyo tires on them, 9×19 inch up front and ultra wide 12×19 inch at the rear.

When building the first full Liberty Walk wide body Gallardo you just can’t discard the fact you will need an air ride suspension … and Optimus Performance went for the Accuair unit so this wide body V10 rides as low as she can go, with those massive 295/30 ZR19 R888 Toyo tires nicely tucked into the large fenders at the rear, note the white lettering on this black rubber comes from Treadwear tire letters.

The complete front bumper has been replaced by the Liberty Walk unit, but also the lower fins on this new bumper are installed, making the front even lower than normal, at the side we immediately notice the four wide fenders being fitted with gold finished rivets while the Liberty Walk side sills connect the front wheels to the rear ones … around the back the extremely low rear diffuser almost impresses as much as that stupendously beautiful carbon fiber rear wing … the gold details and lettering on this shiny black Gallardo works very well while that quartet of chrome exhaust tips are the icing on the cake.

Note that the paint on this Gallardo isn’t a regular black, not even a standard metallic black, Optimus Performance actually had real gold flakes added to the black paint to create an even more impressive shine … note that the brake calipers have been color coded … but received 10 times more gold flakes than the bodywork itself.

On the official Liberty Walk website the LB Works Lamborghini Gallardo is still set as ‘Coming Soon’ while on the Instagram account from Wataru Kato we can find some photos of what is most likely the very first LB Works Gallardo in real life … he even posted an ‘under construction’ image of this red Gallardo while the fenders are being installed.

If we take a closer look at this red LB Works Gallardo the first thing we notice is just how low she is riding now on those deep concave wheels, naturally thanks to the $7,900 Airrex air suspension that has become some sort of trademark for these wide fender Kato-san specials … this specific car was first seen during the World Time Attack event in Sydney, Australia by the way.

At the time these photos were taken the car boasted two different sets of wheels, on one side a set of really nice black rims while the other side showed an amazing set of red finished wheels … very nice too, but perhaps a little too much with the wild body kit added.

And the LB Works kit for the Lamborghini Gallardo is rather extensive … not only do you get a set of four wide fenders that require some serious cutting into the original bodywork and are mounted using old-school rivets but Kato-san also completely replaces the front bumper on the Gallardo and even adds a very deep front diffuser to really scrape the road.

On the side we encounter some very low side sills, on this specific car adorned with lots of makes that have been installed on the V10 during the transformation. The rear wing can be ordered in three different versions, the one on this red Gallardo looks like it was taken straight from a race car … so I’m guessing we are looking at the LB Performance Rear wing Version 2 which is $6,200 in carbon fiber.

Also for the rear diffuser LB Performance offers two different versions … from the photos of this red Gallardo it isn’t really clear if a special rear diffuser has been mounted, when you opt for the LB Works Gallardo complete kit you get the Rear diffuser version 2 in the package for $25,100 … but that is without the Airrex suspension and without the $1,680 stainless steel exhaust tips … and no wheels yet.

I can’t wait for someone to put together an LB Works Gallardo Spyder to be honest … now that would be a really impressive open top Raging Bull if you ask me.

A factory original Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is already an extremely good looking car, but if you add the entire LB Works kit created by Kato-san she is turned into something a lot more aggressive looking. The LB Works aerodynamic add-ons consist of a very deep front bumper with additional vertical fins, a duo of stylish side sills and a rear lower diffuser that will make you look twice to completely fathom just how amazing it looks … but those are only the ‘normal’ parts from LB Performance.

The LB Works kit distinguishes herself from just about any other kit available on the market by the four wheel arch extensions, which use rivets to be installed in true Kato-san style … you either love these rivets or hate them I guess … but you just have to admire that totally over the top rear wing installed by LB Works. That thing looks like it came straight from the race track where it was developed for an Aventador GT1 race car.

Usually these LB Works Aventador ride on a ‘bagged’ suspension that allows you to raise and lower the Lamborghini with the touch of a button, however in this case it looks like there is just a slightly lowered setup used in combination with a set of custom CEC or Claus Ettensberger Corp. wheels, most likely 20 inch up front and 21 inch at the rear so you don’t upset the four wheel drive system on the Aventador.

After the LB Works kit and the wheels were installed this Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was taken apart again by the artisans at Impressive Wrap, who fitted an awesome looking brushed steel vinyl wrap onto the angular lines of this Raging Bull, add a few touches of clear carbon fiber and some orange lines and you end up with a car that looks ready to take on anything she will encounter on the open road … and beat it into oblivion with ease while emitting a thundering sound from the special Quicksilver exhaust.

Still only a render, but LB Performance has listed their new LB Works Huracan as ‘coming soon’ on their website, showing five different angles of a white Lamborghini V10 with the LB Performance trademark wide body aerodynamic kit … as usual with those exposed rivets still in plain sight and complete with that massive ‘duck tail’ fixed rear wing at the back of the venerable Huracan.

Up front it looks like LB Performance will be mounting additional carbon fiber sections underneath the standard front bumper making the Huracan ride very low already, the side fenders receive massive extensions in true LB Works style with exposed rivets mounting them onto the original Lamborghini fenders, just like over the rear wheels … another set of wide extensions get riveted onto the original bodywork … both the front and rear wheel arches require to be cut larger in fact so LB Performance can install another trademark for their LB Works kits … the extremely low riding suspension.

Once again LB Performance drops their latest LB Works kit completely to the floor, which looks amazing, but could pose some issues on the open road .. hence these kits are also known as ‘bagged suspension’ … an air compressor and one or more air tanks are used to raise and lower the car when required … and it does look ever so intimidating …

From the renders it seems the side sills are kept standard with their air intakes just ahead of the rear wheels, but there is a clear carbon fiber fin added anyway, with a small upright section behind the front wheels while the rear lower diffuser also receives some additional fins underneath the dual exhaust pipes on either side.

Now these renders show what looks like the standard exhaust tips on the Huracan, but I’m sure we’ll be getting another flame spitting, custom made exhaust system for this V10 Raging Bull in the end … making her thunder even more.

A closer look at the rear also shows that fixed rear wing is in fact a three part unit, with the engine cover of the Huracan opening up complete with a section above the rear fascia, it makes sense for LB Performance to actually cut their large rear wing at that spot and have the two outer sections remain fixed to the bodywork while the center section goes up with the engine cover.

For the moment LB Performance has shown five different renders of a white Lamborghini Huracan with their LB Works kit, but I’m sure they will be building it on a more exotic shade … perhaps even the baby blue finished used on their Aventador wide body.

Perhaps not everybody will like this wide body conversion created by Kei Miura, but you have to admit it looks really brutal anyway, especially with those rivets to hold the big wheel arches in place … on this specific car they even went for a brushed aluminum look bodywork, making the overall impression even better.

Your first impression might be this is a tuned LP670-4 Super Veloce model, but in fact this isn’t the case, the base car is in fact a 2004 Murciélago, so an original 6.2 liter V12 model that has been massively modified by its owner Kato-San, who also happens to own Liberty Walk/LB Performance.

Now if you know anything about Kato-San and his passion you know he like classic Japanese cars too, which puts an entirely different view on this wide body Murciélago … those wheel arch extensions with their rivet attachment look a lot like those seen on several legendary Japanese sports cars.

This car already had the entire T-02 kit from LB Performance mounted, which includes a new front bumper that resembles the Super Veloce bumper but is in fact very different upon closer inspection, LB Performance additionally puts two spoiler lips underneath it for an even deeper riding stance.

At the back we see a new lower diffuser and a massive rear wing mounted on the rear panel, again the latter might look like the factory original Super Veloce rear wing but the fitting is totally different … still it looks impressive and does the job it is required to do, add the special side skirts into the equation and you end up with a very personal evolution of this earlier V12 Bull.

The T-02 kit has been available from LB Performance for a while now, and several Murciélago have been fitted with it … but Kato-San wanted to drag the Murciélago back into the spotlight it lost a bit to the successor from Sant’Agata … you have to admit the Aventador looks absolutely stunning, and next to an original 2004 Murciélago … well there is no competition, the Murciélago just looks old.

So Kei Miura from TRA Kyoto came into the picture … his almost magical hands created true art on wheels by adding big wheel arch extensions on the T-02 Murciélago kit, with their rough, rivet fitting they make the Raging Bull look like a street legal race car, ready to feast on just about any other car it might encounter on the open road.

With looks like this you might think Kato-San added some power to the Italian V12 engine, remember twin turbo kits are widely available for the Murciélago, DMC has built a V12 Murciélago engine pumping out 800 hp without any turbo already … but with more power comes more responsibilities, and more maintenance … the engine in this first unit of the limited edition run is factory standard, the only upgrade is a purely cosmetically exhaust tip that nicely integrated into the new rear diffuser.

Still Kato-San installed a high performance CSD brake kit on this specific car, nicely visible behind magnificent new rims from iForged, model Equip V3 are mounted in large 8.5×19 -2 size at the front and massive 13×20 -50 at the back, rubber protection comes from Toyo (to be expected as this car was shown on the Toyo stand at SEMA) in the form of Proxes T1R units, in 235/35ZR19 and 345/25ZR20 respectively.

Inside this nr 1/20 is mostly factory stock, which isn’t a bed thing mind you, the combination of bright red leather with black hides works like a match made in heaven inside this brushed aluminum look wrapped Murciélago, still the steering wheel is a custom made item by LB Performance and so are the door sills … you have to do something to make a statement here I guess.

As you might expect, the Liberty Walk LB-R Limited Works 20 Murciélago will be a highly limited production unit, only 20 will be made, and while iForged already supplied 4 sets of rims for this project I do think you’ll have to get an order in quickly if you would like to have one of these 20 wide body kits to be fitted onto your Murciélago.
