In 2016, Lamborghini released the Centenario Roadster to celebrate the 100th anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, limiting production to 20 units and once again, not offering a roof. By 2020, they came out with the Sian Roadster, with only 19 units made and all sold out before the press release. Like its predecessors, it featured a true topless design without a canvas top. Lamborghini continued the trend of not including roofs in their ultimate V12 Roadsters.

The latest in this series is the Lamborghini SC20, a one-of-a-kind car made by Squadra Corse for a lucky customer. Before the official press release, it was clear from the first image that the SC20 had no roof or windshield, not even a low one like the Aventador J.

Damon Fryer from the YouTube channel DailyDrivenExotics (DDE) took this concept to the next level by creating his own Lamborghini Huracan Evo Aperta with 840 hp. He started with a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder and removed the front windshield completely, turning it into an Aperta. To enhance its performance, he installed a VF Engineering supercharger, increasing the power output from 610 hp to 810 hp. Additional modifications included Vorsteiner front fenders with forged carbon louvers, Vorsteiner side skirts, 20-inch V-FF 109 wheels, and an FI exhaust.

So What makes the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Aperta unique compared to other Lamborghini models?

Damon Fryer, founder of Daily Driven Exotics, shared on Facebook that the owner of the Huracan Evo Aperta wanted to sell the car because he was moving abroad. The offer came at a price Damon and his team couldn’t resist, so they decided to buy the car back. Once they had the car, they faced a dilemma since it wasn’t practical for everyday use. They took it to Fast Track Auto Care, where it was restored to its original state using all the stock parts.

However, they kept some of the custom features, like the Vorsteiner front fenders with forged carbon louvers, Vorsteiner side skirts, and 20-inch V-FF 109 wheels, giving the car its distinctive look. Now, with the windshield and a soft convertible top back in place, the car is more practical.

With these updates, the car is ready to be sold to a new owner.

At the rear, we also notice a new lower diffuser which looks aggressive, but most intimidating is that massive rear wing, complete with a center strut to mimic the one holding the air intake on the Aventador SVJ, this Vorsteiner rear wing will completely replace the current wing of the EVO behind the engine cover.

All of the parts under development by Vorsteiner for the Huracan EVO will be bolt-on pieces using the original OEM fittings, which makes mounting and removing this aero package easier … just in case you decide to sell the car in the future, it can be returned to factory specs because no cutting or drilling is involved in fitting a Vorsteiner kit.

Remember the vented front fenders from Vorsteiner for the Huracan? While not seen on any of these renders, they can be fitted on the Huracan EVO too, just in case you really like them … and the front angle render shows a stunning, vented front hood, a design taken from the official factory race version of the Huracan, it looks stunning and comes in a full carbon fiber finish.

So far we can only see a few different angles that have been rendered, but it is already clear we’ll be getting a new engine cover from Vorsteiner, probably also made from lightweight carbon fiber, and containing a large air vent in the middle, looking very aggressive.

And that complements the new lower front bumper lip in styling, add a pair of side sills and a massive, rear lower diffuser into the equation and you end up with a very aggressively looking Lamborghini Urus.

But Vorsteiner hasn’t finished yet, not one, but two rear wings are visible on these renders, one  at the edge of the roof, and a second one on the rear hatch itself … and if you look really close, you’ll notice Vorsteiner has put small extensions on the vents below the taillights, and a pair of larger fins on the large intakes in the front bumper, underneath the headlights.

These renders still show a set of factory wheels, but I’m certain Vorsteiner will come up with a set of bespoke wheels … perhaps even with center-locks, that would be impressive.

A completely new front bumper, a set of front fenders that replace the original ones, two beautiful side sills, a rear bumper with integrated diffuser and naturally an amazing looking rear wing make up the Novara, add a nice set of wheels and you know you have a winner.

By late November another Vorsteiner Novara was in the making, renowned Wheels Boutique took apart a grey metallic Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 and started installing the complete Novara kit, they even showed a behind the scenes view of the process.

Complete with the complex task of masking those exposed, carbon fiber vents on the front fenders and the carbon fiber inserts in the front bumper … not an easy task, but the result would be more than worth it … at the 4th Annual Festivals of Speed on Amelia Island this very car would win the Chairman’s Award.

As Wheels Boutique is a dealer for many high end wheel manufacturers this specific Vorsteiner Novara Huracán would be shown with different rims from time to time, like the titanium finished HRE S201 ones with that special, brushed Aqua lip, or the matte black Rotiform KPS units with a glossy black outer rim … or my personal favorite, the ADV05C Track Spec CS ones with that traditional ‘telephone dial’ look we’ve first seen on the classic Lamborghini Countach.

The Novara was in fact inspired by motorsport aerodynamics thanks to Vorsteiner’s racing experience, the new kit comes with a new front bumper, side fenders, side sills, rear bumper and a fixed rear wing, while different wheel designs are available and a new stainless steel exhaust system offers better sound … and more power.

The new front bumper with lower spoiler not only looks good, but thanks to the larger air intakes and modified aerodynamics the Novara bumper not only supplies more air onto the radiators but also improves airflow, the vertical fins direct more air onto the cooling radiators while the special honeycomb protects them from road debris.

The two Vorsteiner front fenders include vents on top of the wheels, finished in clear carbon fiber these ventilation openings actively add downforce, the airflow generated by the wheels push air out of these vents while pushing the front down for a better aerodynamic flow and increased performance.

But not everybody fell in love with the very special design of that rear wing, so after being asked by several possible customers Vorsteiner released a new rear deck wing design for their Verona kit, this time a more traditional model sitting on top of two very nice struts was presented on a red Huracán that received a matte grey wrap and a new set of wheels … the forged Vorsteiner V-201 model.

Fast forward to late October 2015, just a week before the famous SEMA show opens the doors in the United States we receive a teaser of what Vorsteiner call their brand new Novara aerokit for the Lamborghini Huracán … taking the design up to the next level of aggressiveness.

Thanks to HuracanTalk we managed to find several behind the scenes photos that have been taking during the actual construction of the new Huracán Novara by Vorsteiner … and it looks like their original show car was rebuilt … they started with the matte grey wrapped car that was red underneath.

Both front fenders have been replaced by new units that incorporate clear carbon fiber fins above the wheels while the complete front bumper is removed by Vorsteiner too, a new, very aggressive looking unit with large air intakes has been mounted.

The side sills look like the ones seen on the Vorsteiner Verona model, with their large vertical fin just in front of the rear wheels they still look amazing on this new Novara kit while the biggest change can be seen at the rear … the entire lower section of the original car is gone and a race inspired unit is fitted with vertical stabilization fins … it does look to be inspired by the Lamborghini Veneno in fact.

This time the Vorsteiner Novara Huracán received a matte purple wrap and yet another set of wheels, this time a double spoke star design … while the tires get adorned with a red painted line and Pirelli script … just like on the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Design.

Much like German based DMC with their 3 different stages for the Aventador (MV, SV and E-GT) the people at Vorsteiner Nero didn’t just call it quits after releasing their first aerodynamic kit in clear carbon fiber … a first addition was the amazing looking front spoiler called the Zaragoza unit.

After an elaborate design and clay modelling sequence Vorsteiner first made a mockup through rapid prototyping that allowed them to completely test fit this new unit onto an existing Lamborghini Aventador before actually producing the part in the much more expensive clear carbon fiber finish.

In fact the Vorsteiner V Zaragoza front spoiler is about 25mm lower compared to the standard Avantador bumper, 25mm wider and a massive 200mm longer … more importanly the Zaragoza spoiler not only looks very impressive, it also improves aerodynamic at the front.

Note that the Zaragoza front spoiler is a one piece carbon fiber unit that fits seamlessly onto the original Lamborghini Aventador front bumper, naturally best combined with the extensive kit of clear carbon fiber parts Vorsteiner already offered for the V12 flagship from Sant’Agata.

The beautiful side sills from Vorsteiner Nero fit onto this new Zaragoza kit too, which has recently been complemented by an absolutely magnificent looking rear wing in an innovative ‘hanging’ design, much like the one we’ve seen on the one-off Lamborghini Aventador J back in 2012.

The Vorsteiner-V kit consists of a complete package front to rear for the Lamborghini Aventador, up front you’ll get a nice three part lower lip that fixes onto the standard bumper, the uprights on the outer edge of this front spoiler returns on the side sills while the rear lower diffuser gets replaced too … all finished in clear carbon fiber to make it look even better.

The Vorsteiner-V rear wing is another masterpiece of design and function … not only does it look great, it is also fully functional in combination with the original mechanism found on the Lamborghini Aventador.

On this specific Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster the front and rear intakes receive clear carbon fiber finish too, just like the large air intake on the side … in combination with the bright green metallic paint the dark carbon fiber looks really great.

Another highlight of this Aventador-V Roadster are the very special wheels … these are custom made ADV.1 units called Reventador M.V1 units, the front gets 9×20 inch while at the back massive 12.5×21 inch wheels are fitted, complete with customized OEM center caps on a matte black finish … the color coded brake calipers contrast nicely with the black shade on these wheels.

The car also features a very special exhaust … take a closer look at the four tips and you’ll notice the design has a very close resemblance to the exhaust seen on the one of a kind Aventador J … I’m sure these sound amazing and make the Hulk look and sound appropriately.

The nickname ‘Hulk’ is given to this Aventador Roadster because of the bright green Verde Ithaca shade … an original Lamborghini shade by the way. The first photos of a beautiful dark blue metallic Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-5 with the Vorsteiner Renazzo ‘front fascia replacement’ have recently been published as a teaser, they show a very innovative design finished in a 2×2 carbon fiber weave center section while the sides are color coded to the rest of the bodywork, later on Vorsteiner published an entire series showcasing this very intricate design.

The really interesting feature of the Renazzo-V front bumper are the two vertical fins on either side, these are taller then the ones seen on the Lamborghini Aventador J and actually look closer like the fins on the limited edition Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversary … however on the latter one the top of the fins bend back into the front bumper while on this Renazzo version the fins stay upright all the way.

Also the center section of the Vorsteiner Renazzo front bumper shows a very angular design with a far forward protruding middle fin and replacement honeycomb mesh for the massive intakes … it might not really look identical to the original 3D renders made a year ago, but in real life it does look very impressive nonetheless.

Inspiration for this innovative design came from the Super Trofeo race car according to Vorsteiner, but I guess that doesn’t apply to the vertical fins but more to the impressive side sills and rear lower diffuser that is still on the drawing board.

With the production of the Gallardo being halted recently at 14,022 units the market for styling and tuning parts for this most successful Lamborghini ever is certainly large enough to add another aerodynamic kit, especially from a company like Vorsteiner.

I can’t wait for them to complete the rest of the parts that should become available in the Renazzo V package, taking a look at the rear render the side sills, rear wing and lower diffuser sure look very interesting too.

Visual cues were key, so our first step was to scan every external surface with our 3D scanner laser head with blue light technology. With this electronic blueprint stored, it was then run through digital wind tunnel simulator tests to determine air patterns and flow dynamics. With these tests completed, the visual translation could begin.

After countless hours of adjusting and tweaking, the initial draft pieces were milled on a ve-axis CNC rapid prototype machine. With careful exactness, each part was fitted to the Lamborghini Aventador test car to ensure a perfect fit. Numerous small, yet critical changes took place during this phase, to achieve the goal of ultimate precision. When our team was completely satised with the result, the production tooling was set up and we began to create our vision. The total time from concept to final production in carbon fiber took approximately 11.5 months, a testament in itself to the level of quality we wished to achieve.

The complete Aventador-V LP-740 kit includes a three-piece front section, side sills, and the two-piece rear active aero wing. In front, there are left and right splitters designed to work together and channel downforce under the bumper. These splitters extend to intricate vertical floating fins along the side of the front bumper. An additional optional lower race lip spoiler attaches to the two-piece splitters for additional support, and provides a more aggressive appearance, protruding 5mm further forward to protect the set of splitters if impacted. We were careful to keep as much ground clearance as possible for everyday drivability. On the side sill extension blades, the vertical floating fin design extension is repeated. This extension sits on the front wheels to control airflow, and in front of the rear wheels is another matching are for subtle aggression and width expansion.

The focal point since the beginning has always been the active aero rear wing, an element of the Aventador that we wished to retain and enhance with our carbon solution. Unlike many existing aftermarket products, we insisted that our application not only retain the active aero, but that no error message be triggered. This was a massive undertaking, including closed testing up to 180mph, but in the end it was an effort that was worthwhile. Our active aero rear wing produces NO warning indicators and works harmoniously with the factory active aero dynamics in all modes. The two-piece ultra rigid carbon fiber autoclave wing element is not simply mounted to the existing OEM spoiler, but actually replaces it for complete bolt-on integration. Rather than having an upper piece that is attached in a rudimentary fashion, the legs are formed with a right angle kink, and retract fully under the deck lid body panel into the existing spoiler support recesses for a factory fit that is peerless.

In addition to the Aventador-V LP-740 aero package, Vorsteiner also offers a complete OEM carbon fiber replacement kit, comprised of the center front splitter piece, front lower intake surrounds, side air scoops, rear vent surrounds, and the rear diuser. Each part replaces the factory black trim sections with carbon fiber that is manufactured to OEM standards. As always, all of our carbon fiber pieces are pre-preg autoclaved carbon in a 2×2 weave with a glossy clear coat to match the factory weave. Many of the carbon fiber aero components have also been specially engineered with our proprietary LSCS (Load Spreading Composite System) which helps evenly distribute the lamination thickness of the carbon fiber layers so that our parts are fully and structurally sound at extremely high speeds.

We also offer the Vorsteiner Forged monoblock 20x9J front and 21x13J rear wheels mounted on Pirelli P-Zero tires, which feature measurable weight savings over the original factory wheels. Also available is an optional Aventador-V graphic livery kit, consisting of specially designed center stripe for hood, which features a Vorsteiner “V” logo across the center, integrating with the Lamborghini badge on edge. The graphic kit includes adhesive stripes for hood, engine bonnet, and roof.

Finally, the Aventador-V ECU software flash for additional engine output is also available, powered by Hex Flash. The Aventador-V software tuning upgrade boosts output by +40whp and +35wtq. This feature also enhances throttle response throughout the RPM range.

Instead of creating a massive body kit replacing original parts with much larger units the Vorsteiner Nero kit actually adds only a few, well engineered touches to keep the factory design language and improve them with enhanced aerodynamic parts.

In fact Vorsteiner made a complete 3D scan of an original Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 before even starting any design of their own, all through the development stage every part was tested in a virtual wind tunnel to make sure the air flow and down-force was actually enhancing the original car and not only there for aesthetic reasons … the Vorsteiner Nero kit should not only look good, but perform even better.

Initial prototyping was executed on a CNC machine after which every single part was installed on an actual Aventador, before being modified and altered to perfection … only when the part would allow a factory alike fitment the tooling was created to build the actual production part in 2×2 carbon fiber pattern.

In the end the Vorsteiner Nero Aventador V kit consists of a three piece front lip with vertical fins on either side, a set of side skirts that show another vertical fin at the front and a ‘winglet’ just in front of the rear wheels, a clear carbon fiber lower diffuser at the back completes the ‘lower’ parts. However one of the most impressive achievements from Vorsteiner is their unique rear wing design.

During the development of this aerodynamic kit Vorsteiner insisted the factory original active aero function of the standard rear wing would be retained without showing any errors on the dashboard … keep in mind the fact the original wing ‘rises’ isn’t only to increase down-force but also to allow more air to be extracted from the engine compartment … even with the Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear wing installed this functionality remains.

The rear wing isn’t even bolted onto the factory original wing but completely replaces it for a much better, more integrated installation … and just in case the factory original carbon fiber exterior kit (air intakes, air outlets, side intakes …) wasn’t installed on your Aventador Vorsteiner offers a complete OEM kit to achieve the same look.

Add to this the impressive monoblock wheels from Vorsteiner in 9×20 inch at the front and 13×21 inch at the back with Italian tires from Pirelli to shave some more weight from the Aventador together with the Aventador-V ECU software flash that unleashes 40 more hp and you’ll end up with a Lamborghini Aventador that not only looks good, but offers more power and an enhanced throttle response.

The Lamborghini Aventador-V LP740 by Vorsteiner Nero is another possibility for those looking to personalize their car into something different … a lot of tuners have been offering parts for the current V12 flagship from Sant’Agata … and the list is constantly growing, so let’s see if Vorsteiner can convince with their extremely engineered parts.

Vorsteiner is already well-known in tuning circles for presenting some really amazing cars from Porsche, Mercedes and Ferrari to name a few, however for the Raging Bull they only offered beautiful wheels in various sizes … until now.

Meet the Renazzo-V … a brand new aero kit for the Lamborghini Gallardo built from 2008 on, we are talking about the LP560-4 and LP570-4 evolution here. When several companies are offering all kinds of options to turn your classic pre-2008 Gallardo into a look-alike of the more recent model Vorsteiner took on a different aproach and targets only the newer V10 evolutions.

The special Vorsteiner Renazzo-V program for the Lamborghini Gallardo is in fact a full option package, naturally there is a brand new front bumper that completely replaces the original unit, taking styling cues from the current V12 flagship, the Aventador. There are even upward pointing fins reminiscent to the ones seen on the Aventador Jota … however Vorsteiner did go for an innovative option: the carbon fiber splitters are detachable!

With a front looking this aggressive you just know you have to get the rest of the car in sync, and Vorsteiner does seem to get this message … the trademark air intakes just behind the doors of the Gallardo receive a thin carbon fiber blade, which again makes us think about the Aventador … but just take a second look at those lower side skirts … that’s almost Reventon style, nice angular intakes in front of the rear wheels and a clear carbon fiber ‘wing’ connecting the front wheel arch to the rear one … looks good.

So the front and side of the Renazzo-V by Vorsteiner are set … time to turn our attention to the rear. And this comes as a bit of a surprise. On the first teaser shot we’ve seen  nice air vent behind the rear wheel, however on these new shots it has disappeared … but fear not, what does remain could very well make us forget about those vents.

It looks like the entire rear bumper has been replaced … remember the ‘new LP560-4’ seen in Paris? Well Vorsteiner also redesigned the rear air outlets … and makes them look good. The central grille is still there, and it got a diagonal line like the new LP560-4, but the two grilles on the extremities have been replaced by an inset vent … which do look taken straight from a race car in fact, totally different to factory specs.

Add to this a clear carbon fiber diffuser with license plate holder and additional cooling vents flowing into four really intimidating vertical fins and a central outlet, naturally the four exhaust tips are still there, it would be a mistake to remove those if you ask me … a larger diameter wouldn’t hurt actually, or perhaps an angular look like the Aventador exhaust?

Final option for the bodywork is the carbon fiber, fixed rear wing that looks like the optional, factory Superleggera wing, which would make sense as Vorsteiner also puts a nice decal on the doors with Renazzo V script … in full Superleggera looks.

A choice of 19 and 20 inch wheels is available to be mounted on the Vortsteiner Renazzo-V Gallardo, either monoblock or three-piece fabrication … the catalogue from Vorsteiner offers wheel styling to suit most customers.

One little detail … the Lamborghini Renazzo-V Vorsteiner kit will only be available in March 2013 … can’t wait to see it installed on an actual Lamborghini to be honest.
