The 2025 Lamborghini Urus SE, Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid Super SUV, was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, 2023. This new model aims to set a new standard in the luxury SUV market with its exceptional comfort, performance, efficiency, and driving experience. The Urus SE features an advanced hybrid powertrain that integrates a revamped twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine with a 25-kWh lithium-ion battery and a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor within the 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination produces a total of 800 CV (789 horsepower) and 701 lb-ft of torque, allowing the Urus SE to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 194 mph.

The Urus S, with its traditional V8 engine, reaches 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph. The electric motor in the Urus SE not only boosts the V8 engine but also contributes to its 100% electric 4WD capability, enabling it to travel over 37 miles in electric mode.
The Urus SE also features a comprehensive aerodynamic upgrade, including a new rear diffuser and aero lip, which enhance rear downforce by 35% at high speeds, improving stability. Inside, the vehicle reflects Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy with a redesigned Human Machine Interface (HMI) that includes a larger screen and a more user-friendly interface.
Unlike the Urus Performante, which is designed for track-focused performance, the Urus SE emphasizes comfort, efficiency, and a groundbreaking driving experience by integrating electric performance features. It offers various driving modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa, Sabbia, Terra, and Neve) combined with electric performance strategies (EV, Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance) to adapt to different driving conditions.
