Lamborghini Crashed a Gaming Festival With a 1015 HP Revuelto, Racing Simulators, and a Plan to Win Over a New Generation

The First Automaker on a Gaming Stage, and Why That Matters

This was not a logo on a banner. It was a full-scale brand occupation of someone else’s turf.

DreamHack Dallas 2025, billed as the world’s leading gaming lifestyle festival and hosted by ESL FACEIT Group, one of the largest esports organizations on the planet, took place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. Lamborghini arrived as a main partner, planting a 300 m² booth at the heart of the venue and becoming, by the company’s own account, the first automotive brand ever to take the stage at the event.

Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s Marketing Director, called it “a bold presence, a clear statement of intent” and described DreamHack Dallas as “the start of a new dialogue” aimed at reaching new generations. The ambition was explicit: put the brand inside a cultural space it had never occupied before and see whether the audience, younger, digitally native, already familiar with Lamborghinis from virtual racing games, would respond.

The Revuelto at the Center of It All

The centerpiece of the booth was a one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Revuelto wearing a custom, dedicated livery developed specifically for the event. That designation matters: it signals a car that combines a combustion engine with electric motors, drawing on both power sources simultaneously rather than using electricity purely for efficiency.

The numbers are striking. Combined output reaches 1015 Cavalli Vapor (Horse Power), drawn from an entirely new V12 combustion engine working alongside three electric motors. A double-clutch gearbox, making its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini, manages power delivery. The architecture also introduces a new carbon frame concept and aerodynamics the company describes as maximum-efficiency.

The livery was not merely decorative. Lamborghini digitally replicated it in-game, so the same car visitors walked around on the booth floor also appeared in the virtual environments running on the event’s simulators. The physical and digital versions were intentionally matched, a demonstration of what the company calls interoperability between the real and virtual worlds.

Simulators, Web3, and the Hardware That Makes It Real

If the Revuelto on the floor represented the aspiration, the sim-racing hardware represented the conversion tool.

Lamborghini says this unit was unveiled for the first time at DreamHack, making the gaming festival a hardware launch event as much as a brand activation. For the audience at DreamHack, many of whom would already know those titles by name, the hardware on display was serious equipment, not a promotional afterthought.

Moza Racing used the occasion to launch a new Revuelto steering wheel, described as an exclusive DreamHack debut, integrated into the high-performance simulator setup. The digital layer extended beyond the simulators. Fast ForWorld, Lamborghini’s official Web3 platform, is powered by Animoca Brands, Motorverse, and Gravitaslabs. Within it, guests could claim a limited-edition digital Revuelto, an exclusive NFT inspired by the car on the booth floor. Lamborghini described the collectible as one of the event’s most sought-after activations, though that characterization is the company’s own. A gamified treasure-hunt quest tied to Lamborghini’s Web3 environment ran alongside the physical experiences, weaving blockchain engagement into the festival fabric.

Partnerships and Competitions That Deepen the Footprint

The booth doubled as a competition venue, reinforcing the idea that Lamborghini was not merely exhibiting but embedding itself in the culture. Separately, technical partner Bridgestone, the global tire manufacturer and Lamborghini’s official technical partner, ran an Asphalt tournament within the Lamborghini space, complete with live commentary from influencers. A gamified treasure-hunt quest integrated into Lamborghini’s Web3 environment ran alongside the tournament, blending gameplay with brand storytelling.

The reach extended well beyond the convention center floor. In partnership with ESL FACEIT Group, Lamborghini’s presence was amplified across digital platforms with activations featuring creators including Clix, a special “Drive the URUS” experience, content creation sessions, and on-site activities that connected fans both at the venue and online.

The Secretlab for Automobili Lamborghini Collection occupied booth space as well. The collaboration between the two brands began in 2022 and brought Lamborghini’s design language into the Secretlab TITAN Evo chair and MAGNUS Pro desk, with details including carbon fiber leatherette and microsuede, integrating the lifestyle product into the overall environment rather than displaying it in isolation.

The Long Game: Planting Seeds That Take a Decade to Grow

The behind the DreamHack activation is straightforward even if the outcomes are impossible to measure yet. Gaming communities already have deep familiarity with Lamborghini’s cars through virtual racing titles, the simulators at the booth ran on exactly the kind of software those communities use at home. Lamborghini did not need to introduce itself to this audience; it needed to make the relationship feel reciprocal.

Several critical questions remain unanswered. Lamborghini offered no specifics on how many people visited the booth or claimed the digital collectible. Whether this kind of engagement translates into future showroom traffic, brand loyalty, or measurable awareness gains is impossible to quantify from the available material.

What the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center activation did demonstrate is that Lamborghini is willing to treat a gaming festival as a legitimate launch platform, debuting the Vesaro and Lamborghini Centro Stile dynamic simulator, premiering the Moza Racing Revuelto steering wheel, and running esports finals under its own roof. It simply put the product in front of people who already engage with it virtually and gave them a reason to want the real thing. Whether that conversion happens depends on whether the visitor who sat in a simulator at Dallas remembers the experience when the money arrives.
