Fenomeno Roadster: The New Hybrid V12 Few-Off
Every one of the 15 Fenomeno Roadsters found a buyer before the car broke cover at BolognaFiere on Saturday night, a fact that says as much about Lamborghini’s allocation process as it does about the car itself. Prospective owners do not browse a configurator.
Powering it is a 1,080 CV hybrid V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) powertrain, the most potent ever fitted to an open-top Lamborghini. The V12 alone delivers 835 CV at 9,250 rpm, supplemented by three electric motors. One report indicates combined torque reaches 793 lb-ft. Performance numbers follow accordingly: 0 to 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, top speed exceeding 340 km/h. That claim deserves scrutiny once independent testing arrives, but it signals how seriously the engineering team treated the roof-delete challenge. Manually adjustable racing shock absorbers reinforce the car’s track-oriented intent.
Step inside, though, and the Fenomeno Roadster makes its sharpest argument for distinction.
Lamborghini Design Director Mitja Borkert highlighted the team’s focus on the engine area, aiming for a visual effect that makes the powertrain appear suspended. The Blu Cepheus livery with Rosso Mars accents is a deliberate nod to the colors of Bologna and a direct reference to the iconic 1968 Miura Roadster, connecting Lamborghini’s newest open-top creation to the car that started the lineage six decades ago. Lamborghini confirmed no pricing. Web reports place the figure well in excess of €3 million, with some estimates ranging considerably higher, but no official number exists.

Lamborghini Arena 2026: A Deep Dive into the Brand Experience
The Ad Personam program demonstrated extensive personalization options for the Urus SE, Temerario, and Revuelto, giving attendees hands-on access to the color and material combinations that define bespoke ordering. Centro Stile exhibited the Terzo Millennio and Manifesto concept cars. The Research & Development department opened its processes to the public, highlighting aerodynamic testing on the Revuelto’s rear wing and virtual design tools for ergonomics and sound.
Owner services rounded out the experience at the Customer Palace: the Unica app, Contact Programme, and Selezione Lamborghini Certified Pre-Owned program all had dedicated space. For existing owners, being able to walk through R&D processes, inspect Ad Personam options in person, and attend training content that normally lives inside dealership walls creates engagement most manufacturers reserve for private events with far smaller guest lists. The Fenomeno Roadster’s cockpit-centric design philosophy, with its pilot-inspired controls and bespoke material palette, felt like a natural extension of the Ad Personam and Centro Stile exhibits surrounding it.

Motorsport Future: Temerario Super Trofeo and the Huracán’s Farewell
An official round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, the second event of its 17th season, ran alongside the Arena festivities. Patrik Fraboni and Silas Rytter of Oregon Team won both races at Imola, one on a damp track and the second in rain, while Kevin Gilardoni and Simone Iaquinta of DL Racing solidified their position atop the Pro standings. The championship moves to Spa on June 25 to 27. The larger story is the transition underway.
For teams and drivers who built their programs around the Huracán’s naturally aspirated V10 characteristics, the switch to the Temerario‘s twin-turbo V8 architecture means adapting to an entirely different powerband and driving style. Track sessions for the Essenza SCV12, the limited-series hypercar powered by a naturally aspirated V12 exceeding 830 CV, also took place during the weekend, giving owners of that exclusive machine rare circuit time alongside the racing action.

Heritage Celebration: 60 Years of the Miura
Arena 2026 also marked the 60th anniversary of the Miura’s debut at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, and Lamborghini treated the occasion with appropriate gravity. The Lamborghini Giro Polo Storico, a tour covering over 500 km across Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany, and Emilia-Romagna, concluded at Imola with 20 Miuras from various countries. Seeing that many Miuras running together on Italian roads is the kind of thing that does not happen outside of a factory-organized effort.
Lamborghini Polo Storico presented a 1968 Miura, recently restored and in the process of certification, as the centerpiece of the heritage department’s display.
The Fenomeno Roadster’s cockpit, with its pilot-inspired controls and bespoke materials, is the latest expression of that philosophy: six decades of open-air ambition distilled into 15 cars that were gone before anyone outside the inner circle could raise a hand.
