I’ve been thinking about doing a virtual render for the new Huracán Super Trofeo race car ever since Lamborghini showed us a teaser of the car being ready for testing, but didn’t have the time yet … and now renowned Monaco Auto Design beat me to it, and he did a really nice job too.

Check out this ‘Verde’ plain body version of the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo race car as Monaco Auto Design envisioned it, complete with wider front fenders, quick release clips for the new bumper with additional, lower spoiler and Veneno inspired side uprights for improved stability.

On the front hood we find two large air vents just ahead of the windshield while the side glass is replaced by lightweight material … naturally there is a quick fuel filler installed while the rear receives a large wing to increase down force at speed. On the side we notice wide sills and an extra fin just in front of the rear wheels … note the front fender on this render … it reminds me of the Diablo GT in fact, and I really liked that V12, so I also love the looks on this Huracán Super Trofeo.

As much as I like this render from Monaco Auto Design it looks like the front bumper will not quite look like this, from the teaser Lamborghini showed a few days ago it seems the intakes of this bumper are different on the Super Trofeo evolution … so we’ll have to wait and see how the real Huracán racer will look like … I hope it will be shown at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in early October.
