Back in June 2020, we published the new Urus Pearl Capsule edition, a series of new options and colors available on the Super SUV from Lamborghini, three months later Lamborghini releases a new special edition for the Urus, this time called the Graphite Capsule, and again it gives the opportunity for new color and interior for the popular Urus.

The Urus Graphite Capsule gives us four new, matt colors … Bianco Monocerus, Nero Noctis, Grigio Nimbus, and Grigio Keres. Also, note the Graphite Capsule edition comes with the lower part of the body painted in the same color as the rest of the body, but this edition adds a contrasting color to the body, either in Arancio Leonis, Arancio Drype, Giallo Taurus, or Verde Scandal.

The same story on the massive, 23-inch Taigete wheels bespoke for the Graphite Capsule edition, the wheels show the same contrast color as the front spoiler, side blade, and rear wing, while the exhausts come in the black chrome finish.

And the bespoke details continue on the interior, with ventilated Alcantara seats only available on the Graphite Capsule and Pearl Capsule editions, but in this case, there are contrasting leather parts on the central console and seat bolster inserts in the same color as te outside contrast shade. That same shade is used to the Q-Citura stitching too as well as for the stunning Lamborghini logo on the headrest.

The dashboard and the door panels come in a dark, anodized aluminum trim and matt-finished carbon fiber inserts, making the interior of these Lamborghini Urus look even more exclusive for the MY 2021 in Europe for €186,134 and at $218,009 for the US market, excluding taxes.

If you are a new tuning company, and you want to make a stand right from the start, tuning a Lamborghini might not be a bad idea, and with the three current models from Sant’Agata reaching record-setting production number the choice of which Bull to tame might be a difficult one.

At the time of writing, we’ve just seen the announcement a total of 10,000 Aventador have been built, about a year ago a total of 14,022 Huracan left the factory gates, and in early August 2020 the 10,000th Urus was completed still Marius Dumitrascu, from the new Marius Designhaus opted for the Lamborghini Super SUV, the Urus, as their first project car, aptly called the MD1 the Marius Designhaus nr 1.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

And Marius Designhaus isn’t doing half work, they came up with a complete aero kit for the Lamborghini Urus, made locally in Europe, from ultra-light, high-end carbon fiber, some parts even feature a Nomex honeycomb core and AISI 316 stainless steel for added durability, the screws used to fit the aero kit are made from grade 5 titanium, that’s aeronautical quality.

As a first in the automotive tuning scene according to Marius Designhaus, they use a mix of carbon fiber and zylon on the bumpers for shock absorption, zylon is an evolution of kevlar used in racing, but now also available on the open road on the Urus MD1, another nice touch is the fact you can install the MD1 kit one piece at a time, only the front bumper, only one of the two rear wings it all fits together with the factory original parts.

The MD1 front bumper completely replaces the original part, massive air vents and a deep front spoiler are only a few characteristics of this aggressively styled front, add the new engine cover, once again with vents, and you completely change the front look of the Lamborghini Urus.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-25889 size-full" src="https://www. Lambocars. Com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/urus_md1_marius_2. Jpg" alt="https://www. Lambocars. Com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/urus_md1_marius_2. Com

The fun continues on the side, with custom covers for the side mirrors, replacements for the front fenders, naturally with new side vents and redesigned wheel arch extensions both to the front and the rear combined with a pair of stunning side sills, with aerodynamic uprights in front of the rear wheels, similar to the ones found on the lower lip of the front bumper.

And the aggressive styling continues at the rear, a completely new lower diffuser with vertical fins that run right up to the rear hatch, air vent covers behind the rear wheels, and both an upper and a lower rear wing, one at the edge of the roofline, and one at the bottom of the rear window, if you look closely at the roof you’ll notice two fins running from front to back that’s not the luggage carrying system, but aero parts from Marius Designhaus.

On these photos it looks like Marius will develop center-lock wheels for their Lamborghini Urus MD1 kit, or at least center-lock look-alikes, whichever they go for, these wheels look great and suit the aggressive look of the MD1 perfectly.

Pricing hasn’t been published on their website, but there is a pre-order button you can press, also note the MD1 production is limited to 30 units only, feel free to visit www.MariusDesignhaus.com to get in touch with them.

Lamborghini made waves with the release of their Super SUV in late 2017, marking a significant point in the automaker’s history. This V8-powered off-road marvel from Sant’Agata saw sales skyrocket to unprecedented levels; during 2019, a remarkable 8,300 Urus were delivered, mostly in various shades of grey but also in a striking wild yellow finish. For the 2021 model year, the palette of colors has been expanded, allowing you even to engage the Ad Personam department to craft your very own bespoke Urus.

Exterior

At the helm of innovation, Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design department introduced the Urus Pearl Capsule as the first exclusive customization option for this model. This specialized design includes a unique two-tone exterior with a glossy black roof, black spoiler lip, black diffuser, and exterior rear-view mirror housing. To add a touch of elegance, the Pearl Capsule boasts a special selection of high-gloss, four-layer pearl shades, such as Giallo Inti, Arancio Borealis, and Verde Mantis.

The rear of the vehicle flaunts matt grey exhausts that harmonize perfectly with the massive 23-inch glossy black wheels, accented with a splash of color that complements the bodywork. To complete the aggressive exterior look, the Urus Pearl Capsule edition features color-coded brake calipers.

Interior

The bespoke Pearl Capsule carries over to the interior of the Lamborghini Urus. The vehicle showcases color-coded leather upholstery combined with Nero Ade Alcantara center sections on the seats, enriched by the renowned Q-Citura stitching pattern. Adding a touch of sophistication, an elegant Urus logo, and TriColore flag are embroidered on the seat back, while glossy carbon fiber panels and black anodized aluminum details replace the previous light grey parts of earlier Urus editions.

The excitement doesn’t end with the aesthetics. Urus customers can now choose from a special matt grey shade called Grigio Keres, exclusive to the Urus model. Matt black, matt white, and two shades of matt blue have also become available as Ad Personam options.

Technology and Safety

In terms of technology, the 2021 ‘upgrade’ brings something exciting for Lamborghini Urus owners. The vehicle now includes a new exclusive key and an enhanced Parking Assistance Package, allowing the Urus to park itself parallel or perpendicular at a mere touch of a button. If you’re craving more than the roar of the thundering exhausts, the Lamborghini Sensonum sound system, with its 730-watt power over 17 speakers, can be added to your order.

Conclusion

Only a few years into the production of this remarkable Super SUV from Lamborghini, there’s much to anticipate. The innovation seen thus far only scratches the surface, and the prospect of an additional model and a mid-life facelift creates a palpable sense of excitement for what’s to come.

The Urus has undeniably paved the way for something extraordinary. Car enthusiasts and prospective buyers can look forward to what promises to be a thrilling evolution in Lamborghini’s lineup.

Entering the luxury SUV market, the 2018 Lamborghini Urus represents a significant step for the Italian automaker, known for its high-performance sports cars. This review delves into the various aspects of the Urus, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview for car enthusiasts interested in understanding the unique blend of luxury, performance, and practicality that this vehicle offers.

Design and Aesthetics

The Lamborghini Urus stands out with its distinctive design, which merges traditional Lamborghini styling with the functionalities of an SUV. The exterior is marked by a dynamic and aggressive front end, featuring the iconic Lamborghini grille and sharp angles that convey a sense of power and elegance. This is complemented by a sleek, coupe-like side profile. Inside, the Urus is a testament to luxury and ergonomic design. The interior is laden with high-quality materials, such as leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, and aluminum, all meticulously arranged to create a driver-focused, luxurious cabin environment. The emphasis on ergonomics is evident in the intuitively designed dashboard and center console, which integrates advanced technology in a user-friendly manner.

Performance

Under the hood, the Urus is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, a departure from Lamborghini’s usual naturally aspirated engines. This engine delivers 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, ensuring robust performance. The Urus’s acceleration, capable of reaching 0 to 60 mph in about 3.2 seconds, is particularly impressive for an SUV. Handling is another area where the Urus excels, thanks to its adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, and all-wheel drive. These features contribute to a driving experience that is both stable and responsive, more akin to a sports car than a traditional SUV.

Technology and Safety

The Urus doesn’t fall short in terms of technology and safety. The dual touchscreen infotainment system is modern, providing a user-friendly interface for navigation and entertainment. In terms of safety and driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with an array of features such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, enhancing both the safety and comfort of the driving experience.

Practicality and Comfort

As an SUV, the Urus offers ample space for passengers and cargo, making it a practical choice for those who seek the utility of an SUV without compromising on luxury or performance. The ride quality is another aspect where the Urus manages to strike a balance. Despite its sporty character, the vehicle provides a ride that is comfortable for everyday use, as well as for longer drives.

Economic Considerations

The Urus, with its premium price tag, is positioned in the higher end of the SUV market. This pricing reflects the brand’s prestige and the high level of luxury and performance the vehicle offers. Additionally, Lamborghinis generally maintain their value well over time, and the Urus is expected to follow this trend, making it a considerable investment for potential buyers.

The number of tuners offering parts for the Lamborghini Urus is steadily growing, and well-known 1016 Industries just set the bar a little higher for the rest with their impressive widebody kit for the best-selling Lamborghini in 2019.

Peter Northrop, CEO of 1016 Industries emphasizes the fact that the entire carbon body kit is bolt-on using the original OEM mounting points, with the quality and attention to detail that an owner could expect from the factory, and even the looks could be confused as being factory original.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-26104 size-full" src="https://www.
Both the front and rear fender are widened considerably by 1016 Industries, 3.9 inches (10cm) at the rear and 3.4 inches (8.65cm) at the front, and you’ll just need to add the new side sills and door panels to the kit, complete with the front spoiler and rear diffuser. At the rear, you’ll have not one, but two wings fitted and to really make your Urus look different the special Racing Hood from 1016 Industries is the icing on the cake.

The entire widebody kit from 1016 Industries for the Lamborghini Urus is available in standard material at $30,795 but you really should opt for the Forged Kit that sells at $34,795 the latter one just looks so amazing on this Super SUV.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-26105 size-full" src="https://www. Com

On the inside you can also have 1016 Industries replace those grey parts on the dashboard, central console, and door panels, with either Carbon Fiber or Forged panels, the standard parts are listed at $7,000 while the Forged parts are only $600 more expensive, but they look so good in the images.

And just in case you don’t really think the 640 hp factory output suits your needs, 1016 Industries offers some power upgrades that don’t void your factory warranty Stage 1 at $3,495 will bring you 780 hp to play with Stage 2 will set you back $4,395 but you will be rewarded with no less than 840 hp, complete with an app to start the engine remotely, log engine data and record your acceleration data or the data from the valet.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-26107 size-full" src="https://www.
Do keep in mind the prices above don’t include any of the stunning looking wheel and tires sets shown on these official photos, you might want to add several thousands more to make your Urus really stand out like this.

I did find some information online you are able to buy one of a limited production run of 50 units of the 1016 Industries Lamborghini Urus with the widebody kit and the Stage 2 engine upgrade for $350,000 and that includes the donor vehicle. And what’s even better you can buy this entire kit right at your local Lamborghini dealer in the United States I’m not sure if this is possible outside of the US.

With the Lamborghini Urus being the best-selling car in 2019, taking over 50% of overall production in Sant’Agata with nearly 5,000 units delivered, it doesn’t come as a surprise we will be seeing a lot of tuners taking on the Super SUV … and Keyvany is another name to be added to the list with their impressive Keyrus – ‘No Limits’, Keyvany calls it the most impressive Urus in the world at 750 PS and 980 Nm with an acceleration of only 3.4 seconds to 100 Km/h.

If you want to add the Keyvany Keyrus to your garage, complete with 24-inch wheels, engine tuning and the entire carbon fiber aero kit we’re looking at €480,000 … that does include the factory Lamborghini Urus mind you.

Keyvany GmbH is located in Frankfurt, Germany, and was founded in 2018, but the people working here have 20 years of experience with carbon fiber and at this time have three cars on their website (www.keyvany.com), a Bentley Continental GT, a Mercedes G-Class … and this wild-looking Lamborghini Urus that has been designed in-house.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

The Keyrus aero kit adds 29mm to the already wide Lamborghini Urus by installing new, carbon fiber fenders to the front and rear, a massive side sill with integrated air intakes to cool the brakes and a front and rear bumper that completely replace the factory original units … both bumpers from Keyvany are entirely made from carbon fiber and are fixed to the original factory fixtures … a very nice feature.

The rear diffuser holds a pair of carbon fiber exhaust tips, Keyvany even considered a pair of straight pipes for the Urus, which would add another 60 hp, but they deemed these a bit too loud … but it never hurts to ask them about it if you bring in your Urus to be converted.

At the rear, you’ll also find not one, but two rear wings, one at the top of the rear hatch, and another one at the bottom of the rear window, this latter one adds 13cm to the rear … naturally, all made from carbon fiber, just like the rearview mirror housings and that impressive, vented engine cover … which is 6 kg lighter compared to the factory original unit.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

If you can leave the Lamborghini Urus at Keyvany for 4 to 6 weeks they can also transform the interior completely, they have an in-house shop to handle the leather and carbon fiber on the inside, while Lamborghini doesn’t offer a carbon fiber interior package yet, Keyvany does, putting carbon fiber air vents on the dashboard, carbon fiber surrounds on the central console … and even a carbon fiber shell on the back of the front seats.

Full leather floor mats for both the interior and the luggage area is also a possibility … and just look at the double Q-Citura style stitching … amazing and completely custom, all done at Keyvany, and if you really want something special … how about a starlight headliner?

Robert Geiss is a German businessman and TV personality that owns a fashion brand called Roberto Geissini … and he contacted Prior-Design, well-known for their work on high-end, exclusive supercars, to get together and create a new masterpiece in the world of tuning, taking the Lamborghini Urus Super SUV to an even higher level … or should that be ‘a wider level’.

Because that is exactly what Prior-Design did with this ‘Roberto Geissini’ edition of their Lamborghini Urus … add a carbon fiber widebody kit to the beast from Sant’Agata, being lightweight, they could increase the width of the Urus considerably with four wheel arch extensions, coupled together with a new pair of side skirts.

Naturally, company founder and owner Andreas Belzek supervised the design of this massive SSUV, with a new front spoiler, a modified front fascia, different rear diffuser … and not one, but two rear wings, one of the hatch itself and one at the edge of the roof.

But probably one of the most impressive items in this Prior-Design kit has to be the engine cover … they added a massive ‘power bulge’ on top of this carbon fiber hood complete with air vents … very, very intimidating indeed, but somehow it all ties in together very nicely and at first glance you might not even notice the amount of difference between this car and a factory original … but the modifications are massive indeed.

A real giveaway are the almost oversized wheels, measuring 24 inches in diameter, these come with 285/30R24 up front and massive 335/30R24 at the rear, the Urus is brought down a little further to the road courtesy of a set of H&R springs.

The original render from Prior-Design showed their Urus finished in a metallic red shade, with partly painted wheel arches, but for his car, Robert Geiss went with a satin black and fully exposed, clear carbon fiber wheel arch extensions coupled with some bright green touches of color … very nicely done.

It seems Roberto Geissini will be bringing more cars in this style in their business venture with Prior-Design in the future.

When the Lamborghini Urus leaves the factory gates in Sant’Agata you receive a 650hp twin-turbo V8 powered Super SUV, but for some people, that just isn’t enough … in that case Novitec has come up with the perfect solution: a power increase to 782hp at 6,200rpm and a massive 1,032 Nm of torque as low as 2,900 rpm … those are massive figures.

German-based Novitec tuner is already famous for their aero and tuning packages for the Lamborghini Huracan and Aventador, but now they also offer some very interesting items for what might become the most popular Raging Bull ever … the Urus, which Lamborghini themselves already call the Super SUV, Novitec makes it even more ‘Super’ with both aero and engine tuning.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

You can start with the simple plug-and-play N-TRONIC modules, one for each cylinder bank, that change the engine electronics by remapping the injection, boost pressure control and ignition … add the new high-performance exhaust system, and go for the level three performance upgrade to reach 782hp, resulting in acceleration figures of 3.3 seconds to reach 100 Km/h from a standstill and a top speed of 310 Km/h.

Now we all know looks matter, so Novitec Torado created the Esteso widebody aero kit for the Lamborghini Urus, a 14-part collection of PUR-Rim in OEM quality that makes fitting them as easy as possible with a perfect paint finish to combine with the original parts from the factory.

The large Esteso fenders add 10 cm to front of the Urus and an impressive 12 cm at the rear, making the Super SUV measure 213 cm wide in total, making it 10cm wider than the Aventador at 203 cm (without the mirrors), new Novitec side sills connect the front and rear wheel arches and make the Urus look even lower … the panels on the production front fenders and side mirrors can be replaced by clear carbon fiber parts from Novitec.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-25794 size-full" src="https://www. Com

A new Esteso front spoiler is fitted to match the wider wheel arches while most of the standard, black production parts are again replaced by clear carbon fiber Novitec items, probably the most impressive part of this kit is the new engine cover that shows a vented look, either available in clear composite look or in a partly paintable and partly carbon fiber section … Novitec can do a more standard carbon fiber finish or the new Forged Composite version.

The rear bumper of the Lamborghini Urus gets a few flares at either side to merge with the 12 cm wider wheel arches while the lower diffuser is replaced by a Novitec item too, four rectangular exhaust tips complete the look, available in polished stainless finish or matte black … and what’s even better, these tips can be fitted to the factory original exhaust or the high-performance one offered by Novitec.

this and many more photos of lamborghinis are available on www. Lambocars. Com

To complete the Esteso aero kit you have not one, but two wings for the rear, one to be fitted as an extension of the roof on the Urus while the second one is fitted to the hatch underneath the rear windows … both wings are finished in clear carbon fiber and can also be fitted on a factory Urus without the wider wheel arches.

Novitec reached out to Vossen to create a bespoke wheel for their Urus Esteso, the NL4 forged alloy wheels measure 10.5×23 up front and 12×23 at the rear, to be fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tires in 285/35R23 and 325/30R23 respectively, in a six-spoke design with a center cap that mimics a center-lock screw … these wheels are available in 72 different colors, smooth, brushed or polished, and can also be fitted without the wider fenders.

With a widebody kit, stunning wheels and a power increase you just need a lowered suspension too, and Novitec offers a control module to lower the original adaptive air suspension by 25mm, making this Super SUV ride lower to the ground, even with massive 23-inch wheels mounted.

A while ago I posted an article about Lamborghini Urus tuning and possible variants that could be made in the future, but Russian based TopCar Design company just unveiled what has to be the first Lamborghini Urus with an aerodynamic kit already installed.

We already saw the renders they made months ago, but we all know the path from render to reality can take long, it seems TopCar Design was standing by for their first actual Urus to be delivered to install their kit onto.

The kit proposed by TopCar Design is already very elaborate, including a €3,600 front bumper, a €1,450 pair of front intake splitters, 4 wheel arch extensions at €3,270, €1,550 for a pair of extensions to the vents behind the front wheels on the fenders, a carbon fiber set of 4 ‘blades’ to be installed on the doors at €1,400 and a pair of side sill extensions in the same material for €4,000.

At the rear, you can replace the diffuser for €4,550 and add visible carbon fiber to the rear vents at €1,450 … naturally TopCar Design offers a rear wing for the Lamborghini Urus … that should be two wings in fact, one to be fitted on the border of the roof (€3,300) and one at the bottom of the rear window (€1,350) … just in case you love those TopCar Design logos you can fit 4 of them for €200.

If you take a closer look at the preliminary renders TopCar Design released earlier you will notice one thing is missing from the above list … those stunning looking, red exhaust tips … these aren’t available yet at the time of writing, but I’m almost certain these tips will be online soon.

The one item that just has to be my favorite on the price list from TopCar Design for the Lamborghini Urus is their new engine cover … TopCar Design offers a ‘vented’ engine cover either in visible carbon fiber (€9,160) or ready to be painted (€7,760) and it looks absolutely amazing with a new, more aggressive design including two large air vents.

So with the clear carbon fiber engine cover, you are looking at a total price of just over €35,000 … without fitment, and if you don’t go for the ‘paint ready’ option hood you don’t have any paint costs … that might sound like a lot of money, but you do get all parts in clear carbon fiber, and that’s an expensive, lightweight material anyway.

For more information, and possibly put in an order, get in touch with TopCar Design in Russia at topcar-design.com

Just to put this into perspective, the factory standard Lamborghini Urus comes with a twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering 650 hp (478 kW) with a maximum torque of 850 Nm, which isn’t too bad for a big and heavy car like the Urus, but after a stay at the ABT Sportsline shop these numbers increase to 710 hp (522 kW) and 910 Nm respectively … this shaves 0.2 seconds from the acceleration figures from 0 to 100 Km/h … the Urus by ABT achieves this in only 3.4 seconds.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-25719 size-full" src="https://www.
Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of ABT Sportsline, confirms the Lamborghini to be the sportiest marque in the Audi and VW Group, ABT has been tuning those marques for many years now, but only recently did they add the ABT Engine Control unit that increases the power output on this Super SUV to a massive 710 hp … with full warranty mind you.

Mansory unveiled their interpretation of the Lamborghini Urus at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, called the Venatus, the show car was finished with a satin top coat, and while many parts were made from a custom carbon fiber pattern, this time parts of the body were kept in grey … unlike some of Mansory’s other cars which usually get a complete carbon fiber body.

The show car had ‘1/1’ badging but on their website, Mansory does offer just about every part shown as a separate item … but the ‘Wide Body kit’ is one complete set that includes a completely new front bumper with new LED daytime running lights, a set of wheel arch extensions, a pair of side sills and a new rear bumper … which comes in two versions, one that keeps the original dual exhaust tips at either side (albeit in a new design) … but the other option is what was shown in Geneva … a stunning, triple exhaust mounted in the center which looks absolutely amazing.

And that’s just the base kit … now come the options. How about a new front hood, complete with four air vents, also available in clear carbon fiber naturally, or a pair of front fenders … again with aggressive looking vents and Mansory emblem, partly in carbon fiber to match the mirror covers from the option list.

Mansory has gone really beyond their aero package this time … a total of three rear wings are listed, a roof wing, a rear decklid wing, and a massive ‘Performance’ wing to be fitted on the hatch … sadly this one wasn’t present on the Geneva Show Car, but from the option list image, it looks big and mean. Just in case you don’t like the Lamborghini script between the taillights on the Urus you can replace that section with a carbon fiber piece … with or without Mansory script.

A carbon fiber engine cover can be hiding underneath that new front hood, while a Mansory sports exhaust will make the Bull roar even louder … keep in mind Mansory is also developing their own engine tuning for the Urus, I can’t wait to see how much HP they come up with.

The show car came complete with 24-inch YN.5 (or Yavin) wheels, an ultra-light, forged wheel that comes in 10×24 inch and 12.5×24 inch to the front and rear respectively, fitted with massive tires in 295/30R24 and 355/25R24 size.

And that’s only on the outside, we know Mansory has some amazing artisans among their workforce that can create a bespoke interior that will blow you away, a new steering wheel, carbon fiber shift paddles, carbon fiber trim set, door sills, race pedals, floor mats … even a luggage mat. But if you really want to stand out you’ll opt for the ‘Interior Individualized Modification’ offered by Mansory … a custom interior as seen on this show car, it is simply magnificent.

We have seen the Lamborghini Diablo SV-R being the first single model racing series start back in 1996, later we would see Diablo GT-R, Gallardo Super Trofeo and Huracan Super Trofeo do battle on tracks all over the world with series in Europe, North America, Asia and recently the Middle East … but now Lamborghini has upped the ante once again … the ST-X series.

Lamborghini unveiled the Urus ST-X Concept, a race car based on the new Lamborghini Urus that will create an entirely new single make championship to run in Europe and the Middle East from 2020 on, the track debut has been set for the 2019 Lamborghini World Finals.

The Lamborghini Urus has set a new level in the SUV world by becoming the first Super SUV, or SSUV, so the step to create a race car from this model is an obvious one from a marketing point of view … use the Squadra Corse knowledge gained from years of experience on circuits worldwide and apply that to the new off-road model.

The Urus ST-X, for Super Trofeo X probably, will be 25% lighter compared to the production model, fitted with center-lock wheels, a new, very aggressive looking, quick release front hood and a modified rear hatch, complete with quick release fasteners and a large rear wing at the roof’s edge already turn the Urus ST-X into an intimidating racer.

Remove the fins in the front air intakes and insert a simple mech that clearly shows the radiators behind the front bumper and put a modified rear diffuser at the back, and you get a track monster, on the inside you’ll find FIA-approved roll cage integrated into the frame and probably a single racing bucket seat, a special fuel cell to be race legal and modified suspension turn the luxury Super SUV into an ST-X.

Note there are no exhausts visible at the rear of the Urus ST-X … that’s because this concept comes complete with side-pipes … that’s right, we find the exhaust just ahead of the rear wheels now.

We already saw a nice teaser yesterday, but today we are able to bring you the first photos of this amazing looking Lamborghini Urus, the latest concept model from Automobili Lamborghini SpA that will be unveiled next Monday, April 23 in Beijing.

Apparently someone spilled the beans beforehand … a series of photos showing every angle on the outside and inside of the Lamborghini Urus has been published, we found these on the omniauto.it website and naturally wanted to share them with you.

Looking at these photos it is very obvious the Estoque concept from 2008 contributed a lot to the overall looks of this massive SUV, just take a look at that wide rear wheel arch and the entire rear section, it just screams Estoque.

Dressed in a stunning somewhat darker shade of red, it almost looks like a Candy Apple shade found years ago on some hot rod in the United States, add those large black air intakes and angular lines into the equation, clear carbon fiber lower sections on the bodywork and mammoth size 24 inch wheels and you know just by looking at the Urus this one means business, both on and off road.

Exterior rear view mirrors are not used on this concept; they have been replaced with rear view cameras, an innovative touch that probably won’t make it into series production once it gets build in a few years.

The Lamborghini Urus might be considered to be a successor to the LM002 from the Eighties, but this is a totally different type of vehicle, the LM002 was a pure bred off road car initially developed for military use, the Urus on the other hand has been conceived with one purpose in mind: a high end, ultra luxurious and stupendously fast super car dressed in an Italian design SUV suit.

Open the doors, and yes you’ve seen it right, there are four of them, and you are welcomed by some stunning upholstery combining light shade material, raw looking carbon fiber and sections in the brand new Carbon Skin first seen in the Aventador Jota in Geneva.

The look and feel inside the Lamborghini Urus definitely reminds us of the Sesto Elemento, the same style of visible carbon fiber is used, the seats are four carbon frames with padded sections on them, they look amazing, how comfortable these are remains to be seen, but I’m sure any possible owner won’t mind too much.

Naturally the Lamborghini Urus will not use regular dials but lcd displays like all recent models, and as we have already seen in the Estoque, the rear passengers in the Urus will have several controls for their comfort. It all looks very impressive and futuristic at this moment, but when we consider the Urus will most likely not be available on the market before 2016 these looks might very well make it into production by then.

Keeping in mind this brand new Lamborghini Urus will have to compete with cars like the Porsche Cayenne, the Maserati Kubang and by the time it hits the showroom the Bentley SUV concept will probably also be available, you must admit the Urus will have to differentiate itself from them.

And from what we’ve been able to read I don’t think this will be a problem, for one the sheer size of the Urus impresses on its own, being longer, wider and lower than the Cayenne the Lamborghini SUV will stand proud in any parking lot.

A lot has been going on about the engine in this Lamborghini Urus, rumors talk about a Gallardo derived V10 engine with a 600 bhp power output, but I guess a V12 would really make this Raging Bull stand out between the competition, but no official statement on this has been released, so it remains to be seen how many cylinders will propel the Urus into the countryside.
