Last year we’ve seen the Blancpain Super Trofeo World Final taking place on the famous Vallelunga track where Andrew Palmer from the USA and Alberto Viberti from Italy took the title of World Champion in the AM class … for the 2014 World Final the drivers from all three Series (Europe, Asia and North America) will head to Sepang, Malaysia to compete against each other for the title.
Note that the sixth and final round for both the European and the Asian Super Trofeo Series will actually take place in Sepang, qualifying will take place on Thursday November 20th with the actual 50 minute races on Friday 21st of November … the North America Series pilots will have some free practice time during that period.
For the Asian Super Trofeo Series the final standings have been decided already, however both the PRO and the AM title for the European series is still open, at the moment Jeroen Mul leads the PRO standings in Europe with Simone Pellegrinelli taking the lead in the AM list … but this can all still change on Friday during the final stages of the European championship.
Saturday November 22nd will see the protagonists from the European, Asian and North America Super Trofeo series battle against each other in a record braking 42 car line up … putting down their best time during the practice runs after which they will compete in two 50 minute races on the famous Sepang circuit on Sunday at 10:00 and 15:00, note that both races will be live streamed as usual.
The official, dynamic launch of the brand new Lamborghini Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo race car will take place in Sepang too after the World Final … all the current drivers will be able to take the wheel of this new Raging Bull to get a feel of what will be competing during the 2015 season when both the Gallardo Super Trofeo and the Huracan Super Trofeo will be entered in the same races … albeit in different categories.
