Lamborghini Day UK Puts the Sold-Out Fenomeno and Drivable Temerario in Front of 300 Owners at Millbrook

Temerario: The New Hybrid Bull

Lamborghini brought its entire electrified future to Millbrook Proving Ground on September 27, but the car that best crystallized the brand’s competitive argument was the one owners actually got to drive. The Temerario, with its all-new twin-turbo flat-plane V8 hybrid powertrain producing 920 CV and spinning to a 10,000 rpm redline, turned Millbrook’s hill route and mile straight into an audition stage for Lamborghini’s next era.

That five-digit redline is the number worth lingering on. Forced induction typically caps peak revs because turbochargers thrive on exhaust energy in the mid-range, reducing the engineering incentive to chase stratospheric engine speeds. Lamborghini’s decision to push the Temerario’s V8 to that ceiling suggests a deliberate effort to preserve the high-revving character that defined the naturally aspirated Huracán, even as the brand moves into electrification. For buyers weighing the Temerario against rival hybrid supercars from Ferrari and McLaren, this is the spec that most clearly defines Lamborghini’s competitive identity: raw engine drama layered on top of electric torque-fill. Lamborghini quotes a 0-100 km/h sprint of 2.7 seconds, with deliveries slated to begin in 2026.

A Temerario Alleggerita was also on static display inside the venue, finished in vivid Verde Mercurius with red accents and extensive carbon fiber inside and out. The Alleggerita package represents the weight-conscious end of the Temerario range. Bridgestone, the car’s exclusive tyre partner, showcased its custom-engineered Potenza Race rubber alongside it, while Sonus faber demonstrated the Temerario’s bespoke in-car sound system in a dedicated studio area.

Fenomeno: A Glimpse into Lamborghini’s Design Future

If the Temerario proved that hybridization need not dull Lamborghini’s mechanical soul, the Fenomeno hinted at where the brand’s visual language is heading. Every one of the 29 units Lamborghini will build is already sold, making the car’s UK debut something closer to a private viewing than a sales pitch. Created to mark the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design department, the Fenomeno carries what Lamborghini calls its most powerful V12 ever, rated at 1,080 CV through a hybrid powertrain.

The Centro Stile, established in 2005, produced the in-house designs behind models such as the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and the reborn Countach, according to Road & Track. Road & Track characterized the Fenomeno as representing a “new type of Few-Off Lamborghini,” a distinction that separates it from earlier limited editions built more directly from existing production platforms. First shown publicly in August at Monterey Car Week, the Millbrook appearance gave British owners and media their first opportunity to examine the car in person. For collectors tracking Lamborghini’s trajectory, the Fenomeno signals Centro Stile’s next chapter, wrapped in a package exclusive enough that most enthusiasts will only ever see one in photographs.

Lamborghini Day UK: A Celebration of Brand and Community

Lamborghini Day UK is the third such event in Britain, following previous editions at Silverstone Circuit and Farnborough Airfield, and mirrors similar celebrations the brand runs in Germany, Japan, and China. Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, who attended the Millbrook gathering, positioned the UK as one of Lamborghini’s top markets worldwide. More than 300 invited owners and media arrived with their own cars, creating a colorful aerial display across the proving ground’s tarmac.

The event also doubled as a milestone for the Polo Storico department, which marked its tenth anniversary. The centerpiece of its display was a 1976 Countach LP 400, a Periscopio model finished in Giallo Fly yellow over Tabacco leather. According to Lamborghini, this particular car left the Sant’Agata Bolognese production line on July 16, 1976, and arrived at the UK dealership Berlinetta Italia just twelve days later. Polo Storico fully restored and certified the car in 2021 for its current UK owner. The team outlined their three core services: restoration, certification, and access to the company archive. Certification through Polo Storico provides documented provenance that can meaningfully affect a car’s standing in the collector market. The restored Countach sat alongside a display of rare modern Lamborghinis, including a Sesto Elemento, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4, drawing a visual line from the brand’s analog past through its recent limited editions.

The Strategic Importance of Hybridization and Heritage

Millbrook’s staging told a deliberate story. The full current Lamborghini range stood together: the V12 Revuelto (which Lamborghini designates its first High Performance Electrified Vehicle), the Temerario, and the Urus SE, described as its first plug-in hybrid Super SUV. Lamborghini claims to be the first super sports brand in its segment to offer a fully hybridized lineup, a positioning statement the company clearly wants to own before competitors can make the same claim.

Every new Lamborghini now pairs an internal combustion engine with electric assistance. The Temerario’s hybrid architecture adds electric torque-fill and a degree of urban stealth (early independent reviews note it can coast on electric power in traffic), while the Revuelto retains the V12 that defines Lamborghini’s flagship identity. Whether the hybrid premium translates into a meaningfully different ownership experience compared to the outgoing naturally aspirated models remains a question that will only be answered once deliveries begin and real-world data accumulates. An Ad Personam lounge at the event let clients explore color and trim options with Lamborghini specialists on hand, while Lamborghini Accessori Originali displayed Akrapovič titanium exhausts for the Urus SE. Partner brands including Ducati (which brought a Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini and a Panigale V4 Tricolore), LEGO Group, and Babolat rounded out the venue.

Competitive Landscape and Future Outlook

Events like Lamborghini Day UK serve a function beyond spectacle. They let the company put forthcoming models in owners’ hands before deliveries begin, build relationships between the Sant’Agata Bolognese team and its customer base, and create a setting where the Ad Personam and Accessori Originali divisions can generate real business. Lamborghini delivered 10,687 cars globally in 2024 and operates through 185 dealers in 56 countries.

In a market where every competitor is chasing the same affluent buyers, the brand that builds the strongest community around its cars gains an advantage no spec sheet can replicate. Yet the Temerario’s 10,000 rpm V8 hybrid is precisely the kind of spec sheet entry that stops a conversation. Paired with the Fenomeno’s design ambition and a heritage program now a decade deep, Lamborghini’s pitch at Millbrook was less about any single car and more about a brand that refuses to let electrification become an excuse for restraint.
