Since Automobili Lamborghini SpA became the property of Audi AG, the latter has invested a massive amount of money in
modifying the original Lamborghini factory from the early Sixties into the modern building it has become nowadays.
There have been major modifications to the assembly lines, a brand new one has been installed during the summer of 2002 to
prepare for the new Lamborghini V10 powered model, but the factory has also been enlarged, a rather important 'R&D' section

has been installed, where the Lamborghini's for the 21st century are being designed.
But what's most important is the fact that they installed an actual Lamborghini museum, underneath the factory roof, just
to the right of the main entrance, some of the cars shown here were in fact restored in the factory restoration
facility, others were just driven in like the very first Lamborghini Countach LP400, a stunning green car whose presence
in the factory museum has been made possible by Mr Stofer of the
Swiss Lamborghini Club.
Other cars of interest are the unique Diablo Roadster prototype, the beautifully restored 350 GTV prototype,
the very last Countach ever made, a silver metallic Anniversary model, a stunning yellow Miura SV, an LM002 without

body panels ... and many more, you should just visit it the see them all.
Other Lamborghini's are naturally the off shore powerboats, a scale model is on display and an actual engine is shown
too, some of the Formula One cars are also present, very impressive, along with showcases of scale models, books and
other automobilia.
There is also a Lamborghini shop at the factory now, but both this shop and the museum are only open by appointment, you

can't just how up and enter these area's. Automobili Lamborghini SpA is currently thinking about some kind of gallery,
which will be open to visitors all the time and which will also show several interesting Lamborghini's.
The official factory museum is surely worth a visit, when you do make an appointment, make sure to ask for a guided
visit of the factory itself, the assembly line and the restoration workshop are very interesting.
