On what many believe was an industry test day, CarSpyMedia, an auto-centric YouTube channel, filmed Lamborghini’s flagship car, the Revuelto, conducting hot laps at the world-renowned Nürburgring. However, this high-speed testing hit an unexpected snag, forcing the session to halt abruptly.

Recurring Hybrid System Issues
In the recorded footage, the Revuelto, draped in a stark white finish, faced complications with its hybrid system. This is not Revuelto’s first run-in with technical difficulties. Drive.au, an Australian media outlet, captured a similar incident involving a camouflaged Revuelto stranded in everyday Italian traffic back in its initial days of testing.
Quick Fix by Lamborghini Engineers
During the recent Nürburgring trials, the white Revuelto started running hot laps on its electric motor. A notable switch to the internal combustion engine mode echoed at the 0:58 mark in the video might have triggered the issue and forced the driver to bring it to the pit. But following the car’s breakdown, Lamborghini engineers swarmed the white Revuelto, swiftly diagnosing and rectifying the problem.
With the problem solved, the white Revuelto returned to the track, showcasing its unadulterated V12 power. The Nürburgring testing season concluded without further glitches, thanks to all the competent Lamborghini engineers who diagnosed and solved the issue immediately.
Adding to the spectacle, another Revuelto, this one in a vibrant blue, joined the white car for a standard run, as seen at the 3:17 mark in the video.
Lamborghini’s Dedication to Hybrid Perfection
These testing challenges underscore Lamborghini’s steadfast commitment to ensuring the Revuelto, the much-anticipated successor to the Aventador, performs flawlessly. Although Lamborghini has the V12 engine down to a science, the company still has some work to do to perfect the art of hybrid motors.
The Revuelto, boasting a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine coupled with a hybrid assist system, cranks out an astounding 1,001 horsepower and 1,051 pound-feet of torque. However, managing such immense power at the Nürburgring is a challenging task.
As Lamborghini continues refining the Revuelto, the world eagerly anticipates this fusion of raw power and pioneering hybrid technology. Clearly, with the Revuelto, Lamborghini is pushing the envelope of what we expect from this renowned automaker.
