This year, Lamborghini doesn’t just celebrate its 60th anniversary – it brings the party to the road. The 60th Anniversary Lamborghini Esperienza Giro, (from July 19 to 23) gives the brand’s dedicated customers the thrill of driving their Lamborghini super sports cars and super SUVs from Aspen to Telluride, Colorado. An awe-inspiring fleet of 40 Lamborghinis traverses 626 miles of diverse landscapes and breathtaking scenery.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, along with Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, join the participants in Aspen, Colorado, to ignite a three-day journey that embodies the brand’sbrand’s ”fun-to-drive” ethos.
Winkelmann expressed his excitement, “In celebration of our 60th anniversary, we’rewe’re thrilled to unite our passionate customers for an authentic Lamborghini driving program in the United States, our top global market.”
The Scenic Route to Adventure
The journey from Aspen leads participants to the picturesque town of Paonia, followed by a drive across Colorado’s high plains in Montrose before the quaint mountain village of Telluride comes into view. The final day sees drivers taking the Million Dollar Highway to Ouray, a winding mountain road famed for its dramatic views of high peaks and cliffs.
Unveiling the Huracán Sterrato

The Huracan Sterrato flaunts rally-style light pods embedded in its sharp nose, sports a snorkel on its roof, and offers an optional luggage rack. The unusual tires might be its most unique feature, distinguishing it from a traditional Huracán. This isn’tisn’t just any supercar. With a dash of elegance yet mostly robust, it’s the first Lamborghini since the “Rambo Lambo” that looks perfect in a dust coat.
Under the hood, the Sterrato uses the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine producing 602 horsepower, a slight drop of 29 horsepower (from the preceding Huaracn STO and Tecnica models).
This all-terrain supercar, designed to maximize driving pleasure even off the asphalt, takes center stage. Exhibiting the brand’sbrand’s engineering prowess and commitment to innovation, the Huracán Sterrato shows perfect control on unpaved or sandy surfaces, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds.
