The 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, a limited-edition marvel, sets itself apart from other supercars for its unique offroad capability. Lamborghini will produce only 1,499 units of the Sterrato. Recently, a Youtube video appeared online that captured the exhilarating moment a lucky owner received his Sterrato and immediately pushed it to its limits. Let’s delve into the thrilling experience of this jacked-up version of the Huracan, exploring some off-road trails and whether it truly lives up to its reputation as an off-road-capable supercar.
The video opens with a person handing the enthusiastic owner the keys to his coveted 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. Eager to explore this unique machine’s capabilities, the owner embarks on a journey far beyond smooth tarmac. With a devilish grin, he rips through dirt roads, leaving dust in his wake.

The “River” Crossing
The river was not so deep, but still, that may be the first Lamborghini Sterrato to do a real river crossing. With respect to the audacious owner as we do not think Lamborghini released any official number for the acceptable water drive depth (Wade) for the Steratto.
2022 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Conquers the Elements
The remarkable ability of the Huracan Sterrato to take on water distinguishes it from its stablemates. You read that right – this Lamborghini can swim!
Footage of the Sterrato gliding effortlessly through a water crossing reveals the supercar’s true engineering potential. Lamborghini has crafted a solid product, proving it can flourish even when the path ahead is far from ordinary.
Later in the video, you can see the owner driving the Sterrato on loose dirt and gravel roads, risking it all for this video since the Sterrato only has 93 miles on its odometer.
Watch as the Sterrato perform quite impressively on dirt roads, utilizing its knobby tires and better ground clearance. The owner also points out that although the Sterrato offers better ground clearance than other supercars, one still needs to drive carefully off-road.
The same V10 drivetrain produces lesser power
The 2022 Huracan Sterrato, with the same naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, produces 601 horsepower (30-hp less than the regular Huracán) and 413 lb-ft of torque. Its dual-clutch seven-speed automatic gearbox and electronically-controlled all-wheel drive system help the Sterrato sprint from 0 to 62 mph in about 3.4 seconds. (The Huracan EVO accomplishes this in 2.9 seconds).
Exotic Design Meets Practicality
Beyond its impressive performance, the Sterrato’s design elements contribute to its rugged appeal. Roof rails and extra lights on the nose highlight its robust character, while the roof scoop delivers clean air to the engine during dusty off-road adventures.
The 19-inch wheels, wrapped in exclusive Bridgestone tires (235/40 front and 285/40 rear), enhance its all-terrain capabilities further, ensuring performance even on demanding surfaces. The owner even finds getting in and out of this vehicle comparatively more manageable than other Huracan models.
A Rare Presence in Off-Road Circles
With limited production and extraordinary capabilities, the Huracan Sterrato will stand out in the off-road world. This exclusive supercar, usually seen on the smoothest city roads, now journeys into the wilderness, captivating enthusiasts and turning heads everywhere it roams.
As the video’s popularity grows, anticipate more thrilling clips of the Sterrato taking on arduous tracks, perhaps even challenging conventional 4×4 off-roaders.
